Dream adventures

I have had an idea floating around for a bit and would like to explore GMing if anybody would be interested
 
The setting: 
There is a small fictional college town known as Irondale, in the modern world.   But this world, though on the surface no different from ours, has a secret twist- there are some few who can walk in the dreams of others, and worse, there are enemies who infest said dreams- psychic parasites. Irondale has recently had an incredibly bad string of bad dreams- leading to an erosion of both sanity and society, and it could be spreading.  
 
Deep within the Ether of the dream realm lay the kingdom, and Queen Hopebringer cannot allow this to continue.  She knows that such a string has one cause, one that cannot be allowed to manifest, but has few resources in her eternal fight against the darkness.   So, she has sent a single knight to find allies and raise them against this threat...
 
Rule set:
I will be using Anime 5E, an anime inspired obviously rules system based on fifth Edition D&D.   More if requested, but I will be point buy character generation if I find some players.
 
The Characters
I mentioned Irondale was a college town for a reason.  The characters are all college kids, probably 18-25 at most, who have a rare gift- They are dream walkers, able to travel the Ether into the dreams of others and explore them and experience them... and fight the parasites.  
 
Acknowledged Inspiration:
I read a setting book long ago for 'dream walker', and am inspired, if not almost ripping the setting whole cloth or nearly, from it.   This is the inspiration for the game. 
 
If interested, a few questions:
What level of smut- low to medium (Erotic dreams are very much a thing after all, and there will be in the real-world sections too)
 
What level of consent: I figured up to NC, but it will generally remain light.  But what level as a player are you comfortable with?
 
Would you prefer not to be a college kid?  I can work with it; just figure it gives a natural out of dream interaction too.
 
Hope to see some interest, if not, well was worth a shot.

- i enjoy smut, maybe some dreams have a higher degree of it than others, exotic is always welcome with me too
- im cool with non con and anything else
- id go with being a college kid in this setting

I think if I can get 3 or so players it would be good.  have plans for the knight allready, but that is in character of course and I will leave it until I can start.    Are you familiar with Anime 5E?

no i havn't used anime 5E, but you said it was similar to DnD 5E so it shouldn't take long to learn i think

Ya, more then similer, almost mechanically identical.  it basically IS a subset of 5E- long/short rests, proficiency bonus, leveling, skills, attributes, HP, weapon damage all work the same.  just have a bit more freeform classes (With what are called character points) and abilities (Like regeneration, etc) and energy (basically a Chi pool.  It IS anime based.  In this it will represent 'dream control' or 'manna' though.   basically how well the character realizes they are in a dream and can mess with it.   All will begin with a special power known as dynamic spellbinding- dreams.  Meaning while in a dream will have access to certain cantrips, and a few other tricks (Changing clothing/appearnce, taking a stick and making it a sword... those type of things).   Of course for Energy cost...

But more on that if I get more players and can start Chargen.  If you want, I can help you make your character in PM's however.

What level of smut-
I would be comfortable with medium, Though I will say this if people also wanted to Indulge in Platonic, playful and fun bondage I would be thrilled.

What level of consent: I can be fine with NC as long as stays with the Antagonist. Though it could also be fine if it  was Safe, Sane and Consensual roleplaying between  friends and or lovers. Also if  the Antagonist left some poor snooping  pc tied up somewhere to have to escape that can be fun to. Though I would prefer no death traps or sexual acts happen when captured. Flirting and teasing is fine though.


Would you prefer not to be a college kid?  Hmm I could work with  a College student. If I decide to Include this  be it an amateur or professional maybe have some Escape artist mentor  the character trains with on top of college but we will see what comes when it comes time to make a character.

So with the Spellbinder Dynamic Spell binder you mentioned, Will everyone need to have a level in that class or can we use Discretionary points to get Dynamic powers dream?

I'm figuring would be discrestionary.  Would be a 100 point buy, but really have 83 discretionary for most (Figuring human, but there will be option for other races if well argued- most likely even just 'always felt was born an elf', with the result being looks human in the 'real world' but always has elvish form in the dreams).  I might even just give the one level for 'free' to the players as a benefit of dream walking. 

I'm also fairly open to class, with a few exceptions (Broker doesn't work in the story, nor does Techknight, for instance).  But magic girl say would.

ya 1-2 more I think.   but it is an if, sometimes.   and this is a pretty esoteric concept I suppose, but the dreams I have?  Would make wild adventures, and sure I'm not alone.   Curiosity, were you thinking a ANime or core class though?  If even that?

basically college kids getting thrown into a dark situation, not sure what more to say hah.  I have found that interparty discussion tends to be most of it, I would be more the narrator- and have the knight the queen sent as a Major NPC ally (At first)- but NOT a GMPC.  He would be your trainer etc.

somebody who would be fun in a dream scape, but realize its not all fun in games more seriously- trying to think how to better explain it.  If you mean class wise etc, more just a few i wouldn't want.  And a warning- magic won't work in the 'real world' (Mostly) as it is 'dream energy'- but the 'real world' is more the stable setting/city between adventures anyway.
