History:


Katherine 'Kate' Bishop was born to Derek and Eleanor Bishop. Her father died in an accident in New York city, so it was her and her mother for most of her life. Kate had a good upbringing in general, with wealth backing her up as well. Her parents encouraged her play sports and be active, as she seemed to have a talent for the physical. The one that really stayed with her for her entire life, was archery. She seemed to have a natural talent for it and on top of that, Kate truly enjoyed it.

Another passion of her, was creating things. Her first creation was at the age of eight, which was an ugly yet functional bow made out of scrap materials from the local scrapyard. It is now displayed at the company she now owns, after her father's passing. Kate took over the company when she was eighteen years old and has been the owner ever since.

Originally, the company was named Bishop Securities and was a security company. While it still maintains some of its core services, Kate changed the company, branching out to invent new gadgets, objects and so on to improve the life of people but also to have easy access to weaponry to help her in her crime fighting. She even changed the name to Tinkertown, much to her mothers dismay. Said company is located in New York City.

A part of her life that is seemingly forgotten, aside from Kate whom remembers it fondly, is that she actually knows Daisy 'Skye' Johnson. Or at the very least she used to know her. The Bishop family was the last family that Daisy was adopted to for between two to three years or so, before she was returned to the orphanage and eventually escaped. They haven't spoken since, although Kate still views Daisy as her older sister and was inspired by her to become a superhero.

Of course since she has no powers of her own, she knew she had to improvise. And so she put her archery, fighting skills, enginerring and more into practice, becoming the superhero known as Hawke. She is still very much new to the scene, so it is very likely not many have heard of her.

She now has a chance to become something more, something better. With a stand-in CEO for Tinkertown, Kate should be able to focus more on her training at Wayne Academy.

Special Qualities:

Kate is very loyal to friends, family and should she find it; her partner. Some would probably call it blind loyalty but this isn't the case. Seeing the good in people is also a strong trait of hers, where she tries to reason if she can.

Abilities:

Master Marksman: Kate's biggest passion, aside from engineering, would be archery and she started at a young age practicing and winning contests as she got older. This passion in turn made her want to make better use of it, instead of it simply being a hobby. And so this, among other things, was one of the driving factors as to why her main choice of weaponry is the bow and arrow.

Expert Martial Artist: Her martial arts training started when she was five years old and she has kept in shape ever since then. Her fighting style consist of Judo, Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, fencing and Aikido.

Sword Mastery: Kate is skilled in the use of swords in combat, although she doesn't have a sword in her standard combat loadout.

Melee Archer: In conjunction with her martial arts skill, Kate is able to use her bow as a melee weapon or to block incoming attacks from close-range weapons. Her bow is still very basic so she is using it in melee carefully. 

Tactician: She has a keen eye of vital points on the body, which in combination with her archery skills makes her a dangerous opponent.

Thief: Kate is a skilled thief and lockpicker.

Engineer/Inventor: At the age of eight, Kate constructed her first bow, only using scraps from the local junkyark. Ever since then, she has had a passion for creation things from seemingly nothing. This is one of the many reasons she changed the focus on the company she now owns, to invent new gadgets to help her in her superhero life but also for people in general.

Special Equipment:

Recurve Bow: This bow is rather basic in design and Kate is looking for ways to upgrade it, making it more useful in battle. It was gifted to her by her mother, Eleanor. Kate does have blueprints and ideas for others bows, adding sight, better grip, hidden blades etc.

Quiver: Just an ordinary quiver where she keeps her arrows.

Arrows: Her affinity to engineer and invent new things stretches all the way to her arrows. Kate is always looking for new modifications to her arsenal of arrows. So far, she has a trip-wire arrow, electricity arrow for stunning enemies and your ordinary sharp-tip arrow against heavily armored enemies. 

Hawke Suit: The suit doesn't offer any advantages or secret abilities. It's designed to be light and comfortable and can be worn underneath ordinary clothing without much issue.

Limitations/Weaknesses:

- Kate is a mortal, thus she can due from age, disease or fatal wounds.

- While she tries to have a batch of arrows that suit most situations, Kate can't predict every combat scenario. If she has to change the arrowhead in the middle of a fight, she is left exposed as it takes a while to detach and reattach the arrowheads.

- Any form of sight impairing abilities or magic will weaken her a lot, as she won't be able to aim or shoot at what she can't see.

- Her archery is a natural talent and not based off of powers, so faster enemies are more difficult for her to deal with.

Ons & Offs:

Unsure at the moment but anything done without consent from me is a big OFF for me. If curious or unsure about certain things, ask and I'll happily answer whether it's an On or Off.
This is specifically referring to myself and not others but I have never once had sexual roleplays displayed for others to see. With me and my closest friend, those types of roleplays were carried out just between the two of us. I think it's more a case of me not having done it before.I've definitely had sensual roleplays being publicly visible though, if I feel comfortable with the writer and I only feel comfortable with one writer in that department.
Another aspect is that I'm actually bad at sexual roleplays, which I think stems more from the fact I have very little experience writing out those scenes.

Sensual and tender moments are ON for me though. Passionate kisses, tender touching etc.

Seduction will occur as I love to tease.

IC drama, intrigue and themes similar to that are always welcome!

Big OFF's are gore, vore, scat, underage, beastiality. Will never, ever do those.

Appearance: 5'6", athletic body with long, wavy blonde hair that hangs past her shoulders and DD breasts. She most wears athletic gear and other tight clothes that exposes her cleavage.

History: She grew up in Vail, Colorado with her family.  Her parents, Sam and Peggy, where middle class and raised their children as well as possible, although things were often finicially tight.  Her Siblings are: Edward (older), Becky (younger), Susan (Youngest).  One of her favorite hobbies while growing up was to ski and she loved going fast and jumping.  Occasionally she felt like she was just going to keep flying.

To pay for her college tuition, she became a ski instructor, but she was only taking a light load of classes to keep her expenses undercontrol as she lived at home.  One day she was taking one last ski down one the Vail's black slopes when she came upon a skier that had crashed badly. She stopped and examined him, but he was in critical condition, coughing up blood.  There was no way she could ski down to get help back in time.  He had one of his ski poles impaled in his stomach. She left it inside, because if she pulled it out, she would just make his bleeding worse.  Looking around for another skier, but there was none in sight and the sun was sinking fast behind the mountains. Looking around for something to make a sled with, she suddenly felt herself floating, as a field of energy wrapped around her and the injured skier. The shock of finding herself floating in the air, broke her focus as she thumped down to the ground, causing the injuried skier to groan in pain.  Taking a deep breath, she tried to float them into the air again, it took several tries before she floated into the air.  Keeping focused on what she needed to do, she flew down the slope towards the aid station, her desperation causing her to go faster and faster.  She nearly overflew the aid station, but she managed to pull up and return to the aid station.

At first she was able to keep it quiet, but she then participated in a extensive search in the mountains for some lost campers.  She found them and flew them out and to the hospital for treatment, but the media witnessed her flying with the lost campers.  It didn't take long before she was approached by Wayne Academy with the promise of helping her to learn how to use her new abiliites and answer why she has them.  She transferred to Wayne Academy with a full scholarship, otherwise she wouldn't have been able to afford the elite school.

Personality: Generally happy and likes to be helpful but she is no pushover. She is open minded and is good at adapting to situations she finds herself in. She is a little insecure in social circumstances and covers it up with being cheerful.  She is something of a daredevil as well.

Powers: Flight is her main power. When she flies, a forcefield appears around to streamline her body.  As she goes faster, the forcefield will get stronger.  When hovering, the forcefield will absorb the force of a human powered punch.  As she starts flying, it will absorb small arms fire.  When she goes over a 100 mph, the forcefield can absorb military grade hand held weapons.  By the time she is breaking the speed barrier the field can absorb heavy artillery fire and when she breaks into supersonic speeds, she is practicallly invunlerable.

The faster she goes, the less manueverable she gets.  And she can extend her forcefield to surround and carry, currently that limit is about 300 lbs, but with training that weight can increase.

Limitations/Weaknesses: She is normal human inside of her forcefield.  The faster she goes, the less manueverable she becomes. She can only hit high speeds when she high in the air where she is unlikely to run into anything.

Skye is something of a daredevil as well, taking dares and willing to go into dangerous situations.
