Elven Sex Goddess

Sept of the Western Eye

The Sept of the Western Eye is a caern maintained by the Children of Gaia and Uktena in Muir Woods National Monument near San Francisco California.

Gaia's Beatniks
Is a pack within the Sept of the Western Eye.   The pack alpha is
"Mary"
Moon Richards

Cliath - Ahroun - Lupus
Children of Gaia

The game will evolve around as members of the Gaia's Beatnik pack within the Sept of the Western Eye.   The primary tribes are the Children of Gaia and Uktena.  However,  all the tribes are welcome.   I am looking for a healthy mix of breeds of equal division with being homid, lupus and metis.  Player's may have a second character a Kinfolk of the pack.   Or may choose to play a kinfolk.

  • Will be using the WTA 20th anniversary edition as core book.   The starting character build with be attributes 7/5/3 Abilities 13/9/5 Backgrounds 5 Choose one each from the “Beginning Gifts” listed under breed, auspice, and tribe above.  Finally up to max 7 merits and 7 flaws.
  • Sexual content;  The game will not have a sexual theme other than you the players and if the story line and/or has forced sexual content.
  • No Mages, Vampires,  Changlings, Kindred of the East, Demons and other changing breeds.  This is a strictly a Werewolf the Apocalypse game.
  • All player characters must be 18 years of age
  • Warning; The world of darkness and the werewolf the apocalypse is a dark setting.   As mentioned,  there is possible forced sexual situations and blood and gore in sick twisted ways.   So the game will be set in extreme board.

If enough interest is generated I will create a character sheet application for people to fill out.

Can you offer a little more info on the sexual content stuff? I'm alwasy a little wary of NC stuff, especially combined with what i know of some ahhhhhhh features of Werewolf antagonists.

Player:Elven Sex Goddess
Garou Name: Mary
Homid Name: Moon Richards
Age: 19
Sex: Female
Breed: Lupus
Auspice: Ahroun
Tribe: Children of Gaia

Brief Bio: (First change,  how you became a member of the pack 'Gaia's Beatniks') Mary was born to a deranged Silver Fang who escaped Siberia and mated with a wolf female.    Born in the wild to her wolf mother.   Her father a homid Silver Fang theurge had moved on in with his madness.   The first couple of years the pack roamed British Columbia in Canada.    Slowly the pack began to move south into Washington state and than Oregon.   The seventh year the pack reached northern California.    It is here that the wolf pack is found by the packs of the Western Eye sept.    One wolf bitch seems different.   One blue eye and one brown eye.   That is Mary,  who would sniff around the sept, drawn to the homids and other lupus.  Always friendly with even the metis.     At the age of thirteen years of age, the pack starting its third generation of wolfs.     Mary changes and is revealed to be a garou.    Now taken in by the Sept  she is given a place and raised as a adopted Children of Gaia tribe member.

Mary is the name she took upon her becoming cliath.  It is odd, but being lupus she felt Mary had strength.    She of course had been given the homid surname of Richards and the name Moon.    Now she is grown into being a alpha and is forming the pack based on wisdom,   that she calls 'Gaia's Beatniks'.   Through she was sired by a deranged Silver Fang.   And adopted into the Children of Gaia,  Mary has been accepted by Unicorn as a child of Gaia.

The "Gaia's Beatnik is newly forming.  They will be sent on missions to test them.   So I want everyone to have a hand in crafting the pack.   One of those is what is the pack motto and creed.  What totem will suit the pack.

Pack Totem:  (Suggestions for a pack totem.    This can be changed as the game progresses.  However, I like to see where peoples thoughts are at onset of the campaign.    As part of the game play will be earning their pack totem for the pack.)

Mary as a lupus alpha ahroun of the Children of Gaia.    She is thoughtful, and takes stock of a situation and available information for such purpose she prefers and advocates for the pack totem;

Chameleon
Background Cost: 4
Changing animals share a strong kinship with the Garou, and few are as well-known and respected as Chameleon. Ever adaptable, invisible, silent and observant, Chameleon favors patient Garou who prefer to unobtrusively observe before acting. He is the patron of many Children of Gaia and Uktena.
Pack Traits: Packs adopted by Chameleon are taught the Gift: Blur of the Milky Eye and are granted three points of Perception.
Ban: Chameleon’s packs may not act until they have fully taken stock of their situation.

Can you offer a little more info on the sexual content stuff? I'm alwasy a little wary of NC stuff, especially combined with what i know of some ahhhhhhh features of Werewolf antagonists.

Examples are black spiral dancers capturing and looking to break the garou of Gaia.    Be it a pack member or a NPC of kinfolk or another garou of the Sept that the pack is going to rescue.

Or it is Pentex under the guise of defense industry for the government.   Breeding another more manageable werewolf of the worm.   Thus even more insidious design.

Or simply members of the pack fall under a satyr gift of pan.

Are some ideas but like everything it is based on each player's on and offs and the driving overall theme of the campaign is not a sexual one.   Such could happen,  and thus the warning that if does will not be vanilla.     In the end the real estimate of sexual content will be up to the individual players and what they want.

Would the setting lend itself toward a Glasswalker? Was thinking of going with a Theurge Glasswalker but didn't know if we'd have like an urban area to really get much mileage from the concept so wanted to check before investing much into her just yet.

To answer your question.   Yes the setting is such a Glasswalker can fit.   It is the reason I chose the Sept,  as the home of the pack it's close proximity to San Francisco.   As you can see on the map that Muir is just north of San Francisco.

Player:
Garou Name: Binary Song
Homid Name: Abigail "Abby" Lopez
Age: 19
Sex: Female
Breed: Homid
Auspice: Theurge
Tribe: Glasswalker

Brief Bio:

Shifting sands, oppressive heat ad the backseat of a Subaru Outback dominate the first memories that Abigail can relate. Raised by a single father her early years were spent traveling from one place to another while her father did freelance tech work and wrote for various computer publications and websites. Often times he would ramble about the importance of living off the grid, of using technology but not becoming reliant on the tools for fear they would be used against them. Most at the time viewed him as a conspiracy nut. Abby saw him as a visionary and a man wise beyond his years. Unfortunately those years would catch up to him one night.

Perhaps one too many articles had flown from his fingertips. One too many important people feeling the sting of his words without him knowing. All she knew was the world of her Subaru Outback turned upside down in a glorious display of power. She awoke to find her father being dragged from the vehicle by a monster. A child of sixteen she screamed in terror at what she beheld before her. Creatures from nightmare tearing her small world apart. Abby would not remember how she emerged from the car, but she did remember the run afterward. Feet, paws, fur and legs that were not her own guided her over the desert sands toward the shining lights of a distant city.

Abby remembers the moments in a haze. Smells that she could see, lights that she could hear and the world came crashing together in a collage of sensory overload. Scared beyond her wits, she never felt more alive as the night she came rushing into the city of Las Vegas. Behind her the same beasts that had ravaged her father now took after her. Whispers came from everywhere to guide her to safety that night. Street lights changed at her presence, car alarms screeched warnings to her, television screens showed her the way while the fiber optic cables below glowed a path for her to a pack just outside the city.

Later she would awaken to her own kind watching over her. Her face pressed the to fine leather of an expensive couch while kinfolk stood guard with guns and other Garou waited to speak with her. Always familiar with a computer and considered a talented programmer by most, her world opened up with the knowledge of the spirit world beyond the screen. No longer did she see her finger tapping keys, sending commands to a cold void beyond but rather she was able to embrace the energetic life of a mystical world radiating with neon and life.

Her place though was not in Las Vegas. The pack that protected her let her know as much. Instead they secured for her a scholarship to a technical college farther West so that she could find a pack and place all her own.

--Thoughts--

I like the idea of Chameleon as it would certainly fit into the hacker approach and concept of Abby. The paranoia that she was also raised with and the patient her father would have pushed onto her would certainly fit into that idea. I do wonder if this would make the pack more of a "scout" type of group and maybe less prone to direct fighting which I guess fits if our Ahroun is a Child of Gaia. We proudly wouldn't be the first to jump into a rash fight and more considerate of alternatives.

This looks fun. I wish I knew more about werewolves and the setting in general. I was so lost reading the character background for Mary. How much would knowing all this stuff affect things?

Xerial

I'll admit, I am intrigued.

My initial thought was a Glasswalker as well, but I've noodled about in my head and I have a concept of a different sort in mind.

Player: Xerial
Garou Name: Firewalker
Homid Name: Aodh (AY) Guinness
Former Stage Name: Hugh Mann
Age: 21
Sex: Male
Breed: Homid
Auspice: Theurge
Tribe: Fianna
Concept: Hollywood Burnout/Spirt Talker

Bio:

Hollywood is a notorious pressure cooker, especially for child actors. There is a persistent myth that all child actors eventually go insane. That they burn out and either live a troubled life of excess or go crazy. Or, in Aodh's case, the city literally speaks to you and you end up spiraling into your own brand of strange.

It is all a bit of a drug addled mess, really. Somewhere about the time he crashed his second exotic car he had his first conversation with the City Parent of Los Angeles. Like, the spirit of the city actually talked to him. And it was a head trip. Here he was, a sixteen year old kid upside down somewhere near Laurel Canyon safety glass and blood all around him and the badge for a car he could not even pronounce the name of still clinking down the pavement and the fucking city is talking to him. It is telling him to let go. To pull himself out of the wreck and get out of there. And the next thing he knows he is bounding through the scrub on all fours. The feeling was electric, it was psychedelic, and it went on until the early morning. The next day he walked from the canyon into West Hollywood wearing nothing but a pair of boxers stolen off a line, ordered a breakfast burrito from a guy too stunned to ask for money, and headed to his agent's office.

What followed were five years of growing strangeness. With his First Change he drew the attention other Garou in the city. He slummed it with streetwise Bone Gnawers; rubbed shoulders with hip young Glasswalkers; and studied the spirits he found he could commune with under the tutelage of Uktena. But his other life, the life had known ever since his adoptive and now estranged parents had him audition for a soup commercial a decade before, kept him from truly embracing who he was and finding his pack. His child stardom began to fade, but his residual wealth sustained him. It drew people into his circle and he thought that it was enough having them around and denying his Garou self. As his affinity for speaking with spirits began to grow, so did his entourage. The whole affair began to feel a bit more like a cult. A throwback old Hollywood cult of excess blended with some neo-hippie grooves. Fewer roles were offered to him, the money began to falter, his agent dropped him. And then there was the fire.

He was having a party when it happened. Celebrating his twenty-first birthday in true Hollywood excess. His micro-mansion, just high enough up the hills to see the ocean but not to escape the sounds of the city, was packed full of guests who were there to network. Few of whom even knew whose party it was. They just figured someone there was a producer. Or a record executive. Or would introduce them to one for a handy in the bathroom or some blow. There was a different DJ in every room on the main floor, one of the rooms upstairs had been converted into an opium den, and the poolside was packed. The Fire Marshal would determine later that the crew responsible for setting up the lighting and sound got their wires crossed with the pyrotechnics guy. And the pyrotechnics guy got into the opium. And, well, just before midnight a whole set of high altitude fireworks were launched into the house itself.

Hugh Guinness died that day. Or at least that is what the records say. What actually happened was that in a moment  of lucid thought he managed to summon there wherewithal to call upon a gift taught to him by an elemental spirit and shield himself from the fire. And then he panicked when a beam started to fall in his direction and stumbled sideways. He did not step sideways. He stumbled into the Umbra and it saved his life. Instinct drew him toward a shaft of moonlight in the surreal realm and when emerged he was not in the now ruins of his mansion. He was in Topanga State Park. In the cairn of a sept of Black Furies. While sympathetic - given he was in the charred ruins of a rather expensive white suit - they were unwilling to shelter the young man. Instead they put him in contact some Kin who helped him shed his Hollywood life and reinvent himself.

He has only recently arrived in San Francisco. And through the last of the contacts that did not so much bring him here as dump him in the city he was told of a newly forming pack. The spirit of the city by the bay might not have introduced itself yet, but when the time was right Chameleon made itself known and directed him to find the others of the Gaia's Beatnik pack.

Fairly simple premise to being a werewolf.   Gaia mother earth's warriors against the Wyrm,  who is set to corrupt and destroy the world.  The game system is fairly simple.   World of Darkness genres from Vampire to Werewolf and others are rich in background details that make the world and game.   It helps to know but is not a deal breaker,  as it is easy to pickup and learn.  I'll look for link that has good detail for you to look over later, getting ready for work right now.

Firewalker,   another theurge.   No matter,  another good concept I like also very much.    Also start your character sheet.

Datawych  no one put in for a ragabash or galliard and or a philodox.

I'm completely split between an Uktena Ragabash, a Shadow Lord Philodox, or Shesep Hunts-the-Past - an idea I put together for a Silent Striders Galliard that I've never gotten to use.

Player:
Garou Name: Dancer In Silence
Homid Name: Sally Longstrider
Age: 19
Sex: Female
Breed: Metis
Auspice: Philidox
Tribe: Uktena or Wendigo (or even Child of Gaia)

Brief Bio: Sally Longstrider was born on Fot Sill Apache Reservation in New Mexico.  Her father was a Child of Gaia with Blackfoot heritage and her mother was a Wendigo of Apache extraction.  The reservation in New Mexico is a splinter from a larger reservation in Oklahoma and almost entirely populated by kinfolk.  With so many kinfolk on the Res, Sally was raised by her mother's sister and brother in law.  They had no children of their own and--despite the fact that sally was a little furry monster--they loved her like their own daughter.  That love sank in deep.  Though not without her moments of rage, Sally is extremely well adjusted.
  She is also completely deaf.
Garou language is largely postures and expressions and she understands it just fine--save for howls which she cannot hear but can somewhat read.  She can speak ASL and Native American Sign Language--which in centuries past was a major trade language in north America.  She can read lips in English and Apache.
Growing up among so many kinfolk, Sally had a much better education than most Metis and had several human friends.  Between the drums at powows and the hammering bass of a boom box, Sally discovered that she really loved to dance.  Though most sounds she just missed, deep beats spoke to her spirit and hammered in her heart.
After her First Change, Sally made her way into both human and Garou worlds.  She got involved in grass roots level environmental and political activism.
Sally is quite athletic.  She knowes the basics of archery and is fairly advanced in unarmed combat in multiple forms.
Before joining the Beatnick Pack, Sally and several friends--guided by an elder--went on an umbral quest wherein they learned gifts.  Sally returned with a powerful relic of the Croatan--a turtle shel neclace.

Dancer in Silence,   first happy to see a metis finally in the pack.   The concept is good.    With how the background reads,  either your Wendigo or Children of Gaia,  so pick which you like to go and there is no wrong choice.  It's all about how you see your character.    As the sept is inclusive despite being heavily ran by Children of Gaia and Utkena.   I personally favor her being Wendigo.  but go with what you want.

The powerful relic,  that I have to see the stats on before I allow.    Go ahead and create the character sheet.

A little bit about myself.    Prior to there being elliquiy.   I was a storyteller at multiple sites Altear,  New York by Night,  Miami by Night.  Where I was the Werewolf the apocalypse ST for them and KOE ST,  along with at NY also the Wyrm ST.  Back than I used alas Charm.   Played at numerous others including New Bremen White Wolfs site they had,  Detroit By Night.

Datawych

       (But with white hair/eyebrows)
Player: Datawych
Garou Name: Hunts-the-Past
Silent Strider Name: The Unblinking Eye of Horus
Homid Name: Shesep
Age: 18
Sex: Female
Breed: Metis (Deformity: Albinism)
Auspice: Galliard
Tribe: Silent Striders
Concept: Garou Archivist

Brief Bio: Shesep never knew either of her parents particularly well; her mother was a Silent Strider with ancestral ties to the Eurasian steppe, and her father is completely unknown to her. Her mother insists that he is still alive, and that they will meet when the time is truly appropriate, but Shesep honestly has no idea if she's simply protecting her feelings. Due to her mother's level of secrecy about it, Shesep is suspicious it may be a Silver Fang or Shadow Lord, but she has very little actual evidence for either one.

Similarly, Shesep's exposure to her mother was relatively limited as well; the impermanence of the Silent Strider lifestyle not lending itself well to raising a Metis cub. Though she could sense her mother tried to be around as often as she could, that was often difficult with her duty to Gaia, to her pack, and to her tribe, and a similar sense of duty has rubbed off on her daughter. The majority of Shesep's childhood memories of her mother come from long, extended trips through the wilderness they would occasionally take together; one of the few times when they could be relatively certain the wouldn't happen across any humans. During such trips, her mother did her best to teach her as much as she could about being Garou - whether that meant surviving in the wilds, navigating sept life, the importance of the spirits...

But besides such trips, and Shesep spent the first decade or so of her life bouncing around between septs, kinfolk, and acquaintances of her mother's across the western United States. It was always challenging to find someone both willing and equipped to take care of a Garou child that was stuck in Crinos form, so she was often shuffled around as necessary; a semi-nomadic lifestyle that was strangely similar to her mother's. Due to this, Shesep has been exposed to the traditions of many different Tribes and Septs (Bone Gnawers, Children of Gaia, Fianna, Silent Striders, Uktena, and Wendigo in particular).

---

Heart pounded, adrenaline surged as Shesep rushed after the wounded buck. Her arrow had landed, but the animal had caught her scent at the very last moment and tried to bolt. The hunt was one of the few times where the Metis truly felt normal. A simple constant at the heart of being Garou; no matter the location, the tribe, the pack, the sept... it was always there, and she could contribute.

She closed in, salivating at the thought of what soon awaited - both the meal and everyone's thanks.

But then, her body suddenly lurched... Her stride grew short and awkward... the night's blackness consumed nearly her entire field of vision... her prey's scent all but disappeared... Shesep stumbled forward onto hands and knees, wincing at something that shouldn't hurt. She looked down and saw skin, rather than fur, rapidly knitting itself back together.

When she looked up, she was surprised to see the empyrean glow of the Umbra, rather than the night sky.

Panicked and half-blind from the change in her senses, Shesep managed to get herself thoroughly lost among the airt paths. She didn't find her way back to the physical plane for nearly 4 days, until she managed to convince an Owl spirit to teach her to step sideways, all without being able to speak its language.

Pack Totem: I quite like Chameleon for a totem - it's rare to find a totem with a cool ban. It's not too restrictive, but it's restrictive in a fun RP situation sort of way. Also, I just like chameleons  ::)
