Painless

Obviously inspired by current events, but with a twist.

All of a sudden, the virus mutates, becoming far more infectious and deadly. Fortunately, there's some good news. It still spreads through the same infection vectors. Stay at home and never leave, and you'll be fine. A government crackdown occurs, and they start enforcing the lockdown aggressively. Anyone who didn't manage to get home in time is simply stuck wherever they are, indefinitely. A weekly sterilized supply drop keeps everyone stocked with food, and the power and water stay on.

For some, who were in their homes at the time, and who can work from home, it's no different than the previous lockdown. For people who lost their jobs and struggled to pay rent, it's actually better. But for a select few, mostly those who were in the wrong place at the wrong time, it's a very interesting experience indeed. These are the stories of some of those people.

All the plots below are negotiable. Like a plot but want to tweak some details? Let's talk about it. Like the premise, but don't see a plot you love? Feel free to suggest one. So long as it's not an Off, I'm open to it. My O/O's are in my signature. If you want to write together, PM me.

Anyway, onto the plots (Work in Progress, more to come!):

Playing Doctor (BON/NC, Medical Kink):
She needed a procedure, and he was the only doctor in town who would do it during a pandemic. But just as they were finishing up, the lockdown began. The two are isolated within his small clinic, so how will they pass the time? This could be a non-con scenario, where she needed something urgent but discreet, so they came in with a power dynamic that he just decides to reinforce. Or it could be consensual, where perhaps she comes from a bad environment, and this office is a welcome reprieve. Or something more dubious, where a rather naive patient is easily taken advantage of by a confident authority figure.

Truckstop Twosome (BON/NC):
He was a trucker, an essential worker. She was on a long distance drive, or maybe she was a hitchhiker. When the roads closed, they were the only two people at an unstaffed rest stop and weren't allowed to leave. It's not bad. Since there are no people around, they're actually allowed to go outside. The rest stop isn't much more than a bathroom and a convenience store, but there are plenty of books, magazines, and games to keep their minds occupied. But at night, there's nowhere to sleep aside from his truck's sleeper compartment, and that only has one bed. He's been on the road too long, meanwhile she's pretty and has nowhere to run. How long until he can't control himself around her?

His Daughter's Best Friend (BON, consensual):
MC is a single dad. He's fit, attractive, well off, and quite young, having become a father as a teen. His daughter makes plans to hang out with her BFF (YC) at MC's house. But the daughter gets held up at her mom's house for innocuous reasons, resulting in YC being at MC's house without her friend around. Then the lockdown hits, and they're stuck together. Fortunately, YC doesn't mind. She has a big crush on MC, and is determined to seduce him. She uses every excuse to show herself off or get touchy with him, whether it's showering with the door wide open, wearing nothing but one of his t-shirts (since she didn't bring any clothes and his daughter's stuff won't fit) or climbing into his bed late one night claiming she had a nightmare. Naturally, MC knows it's wrong to return her feelings, but having missed out on so much of life due to raising his little girl, including romance, how long can he hold back?
Potential Opening Post
Ken laid stretched out on his couch, idly playing with his phone, and awaiting what should have been a perfectly normal phone call. Yet lately, every little disruption to his routine seemed to knock him off balance. It was understandable; these were unusual times. So many routines were screwed up already. Ken was waking up an hour later and going to bed even later than that, a byproduct of working from home. Lunch could be anywhere from 11 to 2, when before it had always been promptly at noon, and a rushed affair. Dinner was more of a polite suggestion; as often as not he skipped it entirely. Just about the only constant in his life was the handover. Every Saturday, at noon on the dot, Stella went between his house and her mother's house across town.

Stella's story had had quite a rough start. Ken had only been 16, as had Stella's mother, Jane. They'd been best friends back then, bonding over their love troubles. Combine that with a bottle of whiskey, and it was a recipe for disaster. Said disaster had started the very next morning, when Jane had revealed that their drunken liaison had just confirmed what she'd suspected for a long time: She was a lesbian. Not the biggest confidence booster for Ken. But for the next few weeks, their friendship had muddled through as usual... Until a few weeks later, when Jane discovered her period was late.

Jane's family hadn't taken the news well, to say the least. Neither the pregnancy, nor her sexuality, sat well with their image of the perfect life they'd planned for their daughter. But apparently, neither would actually doing something about it. At the time, the 9 months that passed had felt like the longest of Ken's life. But looking back on them, it was all a blur. One moment, Jane was walking out of the bathroom with a positive pregnancy test. The next, Jane's family had packed up and dragged her overseas, leaving Ken holding the newborn Stella while she vanished without a trace.

Graduating high school and getting into college as a single father hadn't been easy. Balancing a job, his studies, and a young child was nearly impossible. But he'd done it. He was in a mountain of debt, but with a degree in finance, he was confident that he could pay it off and get his life back on track. Unfortunately for him, he graduated in 2008. The economy crashed, the job market with it, and Ken had been on the verge of losing everything. His studio apartment, the crappy car that took him to the menial job that barely kept them afloat while he searched for something more stable. And if he lost all that, losing custody of Stella seemed inevitable.

And then, like a miracle, Jane had shown back up, with quite a story. After Stella was born, her parents had pretty much kidnapped her. Dragged her overseas, confiscated her phone and passport, and forced her back on track to the plan they'd always had for her. High school, college, and then, a stake in the family business. She'd played along, right up until that last part, then she'd taken the money and run right back to the little girl she'd been forced to give up. Ken had naturally been wary, but a series of very angry phone calls from her parents soothed most of his doubts, and the fact that she paid back child support for the years she'd missed and wiped out his student loan debt took care of the rest.

So, after seven years of it just being her and her dad, Stella suddenly had both her parents again. Plus a new mommy on top of that, Jane's wife. Supervised visitations turned into one weekend a month, which turned into a week, and by the time Stella was 10, they were at 50/50 custody. But, perhaps consciousness of the fact that, however unwillingly, she'd vanished just when Ken needed her most, Jane had always made her handovers at the exact time defined in the custody agreement, or earlier. She'd never been late once in 8 years. Until today.

The reason was innocuous enough. Stella had lost her phone. Normally, Jane would have just dragged her to the car and found the phone herself, but ever since school had closed, her phone had been her lifeline to her friends and a normal life. Apparently even the 45 minute car trip across town was too much to endure without it. Heaven forbid she talk to her mother.

Yet for some reason, Ken couldn't shake a feeling of dread. Sitting up, he stretched, trying to chase out the butterflies in his stomach, the motion raising his plain black t-shirt and revealing just a hint of his flat, toned stomach. He'd been hitting the gym lately (though he'd had to switch over to a home gym in recent months), and it had really paid off. That was what he'd do. A workout would take his mind off of things.

He'd discovered working out two years prior, and had quickly fallen in love with the process. Once the recession had let up, he'd landed a very well paying job in finance. He owned his house, he owned his car, he was still young (only 34), and once Stella went off to college in a few months (assuming that didn't get cancelled too), he'd be free from responsibility. The perfect time to get back in the dating game. He was handsome enough. Tanned skin with wavy black hair and cool blue eyes. But he wanted a little something extra to seal the deal, and he figured burning off the dad bod would get him there. And it seemed to be working. He'd caught a few looks when he picked up Stella from school, and he'd begun to notice that they weren't only coming from the parents and teachers. It was a good sign.

Suddenly, a knock on the door disrupted his thoughts. He stood up, confused. Had Jane and Stella left without telling him? It was possible, but unlikely. But who else could it be?

Shrugging, he headed over to the door, grabbing the handle and pulling it open.

Yet who he saw wasn't who he expected at all.

"Um... Hi?"
(From a game that sadly fell through before it began)

His Best Friend's Daughter (NC/EX):
The reverse of the previous plot. MC is a man's man. He believes boys will be boys and women should know their place. And his attitude has started to rub off on his best friend, much to the resentment of the best friend's daughter (YC). I'm picturing YC as college age, 18-24, with MC being 20-25 years older. YC is old enough to have moved out quite a while ago, but much prefers the arrangement where someone else pays her way. Her dad is out of town, and she decides to cut loose and enjoy herself. But on a hunch, MC decides to check on her, and catches her in the act (the act of what is up for discussion). Furious, he informs her father, who gives MC full authority to discipline her. Authority that is extended indefinitely when the lockdown hits midway through their argument. At that point, he imposes martial law. He disposes of any outfit he deems too 'slutty' (and if that leaves her without enough clothes for the week, then she'll just have to go naked some days). He forces her to do all the cooking and cleaning. He robs her of all privacy. And any infractions, no matter how small, are met with humiliating corporal punishment. He cuts of her internet and phone, leaving her with no way to contact the outside world, and even if she could, they couldn't help. She's at his mercy, and he'll make a woman out of her yet.

School's Out (LIGHT/BON/NC)
This one is more of a setting than a plot, so it's going to need some discussion. YC is a high school student. Depending on your tastes, MC is either a student, or her teacher. School has already gone remote, but YC needed to grab materials for a project, and MC goes along with her. The two get locked in, and stuck indefinitely.
Potential Plot Hooks (feel free to suggest additional ideas if you don't see something you like):
-Our characters hate each other, and try to avoid each other. But the isolation gets to them, and they find themselves sticking together just to have some company
-YC had a little crush on MC, but had some reason for not pursuing it, probably due to fear of judgment from others. Well, there's no one to judge now... (Obviously this one could play out as anything from a light and quirky romance if MC and YC are both students, to something a bit darker if MC is a teacher)
-MC is the one with a crush, or maybe he's just an opportunist. Either way, the school is only so big and YC can't run forever, so he's going to make his fantasies about her come true whether she wants it or not

Mutual Exploration (BON)
YC has been in one relationship her entire adult life. It wasn't a good one, and it has finally ended, leaving YC alone and able to get to know herself again. With quarantine taking dating off the table, she decides to indulge in some self love with a trip to a sex shop. She gets plenty of help from the shop clerk (MC), who is happy to help her find what she needs. But before she can leave, the store is locked down and they're stuck inside indefinitely. Well, what are two people supposed to do when they have nothing to entertain themselves but each other and an entire building full of sex toys? I'd love it if YC is a bit older, in her 30s or 40s, bitter that she lost out on her wild years and eager to make up for lost time with MC, a younger man, but that isn't a must.

The One That Can't Get Away (BON/NC/EX):
YC always saw MC as the one that got away. The truth was a bit more complicated. [The exact details are up for discussion. In how I initially envisioned this pitch, she was the one who pushed him away, only to regret it later]. They lost touch after that, only to meet up again years later, purely by coincidence, and after a brief conversation, it seems like the spark is still there. MC has found incredible financial success, though he's been unlucky in love. YC has a string of failed relationships and a dead end job, if she has a job at all. They return to his home, and as soon as they walk in the door, the lockdown drops, sealing them in together. Seeing the opportunity, YC is determined not to repeat her past mistakes. As a matter of fact, she's desperate. She'll give herself over to him completely, just like she should have done all those years ago, giving him what he wants when he wants, and removing the word 'no' from her vocabulary. Trouble is, it's not just the isolation of wealth that has hurt MC's love life. He has darker impulses, and who better to inflict them on than the woman who hurt him all those years ago?

Slowly getting into writing again after a brief hiatus, so I'm gonna give this a bump.
