Personality: Brash, bold, and beautiful, Vivika is not one to mince words or hold back her overall opinion. She is a woman in a man’s world and knows it, becoming aggressive at the hierarchy of things and seeks to change them for her benefit. She is selfish, prideful, and believes she needs to always show up the world and those around her. There’s very little in this world that couldn’t belong to her, and if there is, well, the Countess will find a way to get it be any means. Bribes, extortion, even murder is not off the table, and why would they be? They are the most effective tools in this game of life.

History: Ancestor of the Earl of Windsor, one of Empress Valencia’s uncles who was executed for not bending the knee to her rule. This dark memory has haunted them down to this day many generations later.

Born as the only child of the Count, Vivika was raised in the angered, abusive sight of a disappointed father who desperately wanted a legitimate son. The sweet blonde child was slowly warped under the crying screams for mercy from her mother and the rage that surrounded the household, and a coldness formed over what could have bred a compassionate and empathetic woman. Her father filled her with stories of how the Empress murdered their grandfather-ancestor for fear of his strength and threat to her throne. The Count had hoped to start to regain the power of his house in the palace itself with a son but to his detriment he only had the single daughter.

Vivika was initially raised with a desperation to please her father in any way, so instead of knitting she learned fencing, instead of dancing she learned grappling, and instead of cooking she learned alchemy. Many suitors came with flowery offers for her wealth and land but she had no interest. It was branded in her mind to lay her sights on the throne and exact revenge on Valencia’s line while making Rin the most powerful kingdom through many campaigns.  The only way to do this was through The Ordeal, an event she has trained her entire life for.

Common Knowledge: She is known to be a ruthless cheater and rumors of poison follow her. Her training has been endless and she seeks superiority for both she and her household. Vivika does not follow the social norms expected of a woman, and is more comfortable in armor than a gown. Her family’s lands hold the largest peach and apple orchard yield in the Kingdom and supply many lands including the Capital.

Personality: Andronicus shows considerable intelligence but is also a very distant and cold person. He's also highly impulsive and very unreliable.
He shows a general state of melancholy the majority of the time but he has been known to have fits of passion where he seems much happier than his usual self however these episodes are rare and notoriously short. Perhaps Andronicus's most notable trait is the occasional hallucinations that he seems to experience. With Andronicus's aloof personality, it's hard to get a gauge of the degree to which he experiences these bouts of delusion but they have been noted throughout his life since his teenage years.

History: Andronicus's life up until this point has been a rather tumultuous one. The youngest of three sons born to a wealthy and highly successful wine merchant, Andronicus has always been a problem child. He had a noticeable lack of close personal relationships in childhood which has continued into adulthood though he does have a small dedicated circle of friends at this point. His impulsivity and recklessness have been a real hindrance to him and his family throughout his life. He's a fairly heavy drinker and does seem to enjoy parties despite his lack of interpersonal skills.

The main cause of conflict between Andronicus and his family is his intelligence. He is a fairly wise person and he could be highly successful if he ever chooses to seriously apply himself to something but his impulsive behavior has seriously hindered his ability to do so. Very few people would give Andronicus's a legitimate shot at winning the competition but his sheer unpredictability does make him a difficult foe to prepare for.

Common Knowledge: Andronicus is a relative mystery when it comes to the general public's knowledge of him. They may know that he's a notorious party animal and that he comes from a very wealthy family but very little of him is probably known outside of that. His small circle of friends and aloofness make him a hard person to get information on.


Skills:
1.) Skullduggery - Andronicus's volatility makes his moral compass pretty flexible.
2.) Willpower - Andronicus's delusions make him a pretty hard person to sway off course.
3.) Melee Skill - Andronicus has had his fair share of intoxicated brawls throughout his life
4.) Perception - Even though he doesn't choose to use it wisely most of the time, Andronicus is still a highly intelligent individual.
5.) Resources - Andronicus is essentially one of the heir's to the largest wine fortune in the region.
6.) Stealth - It's hard to know what somebody is planning when they seem incapable of planning.
7.) Riding - Andronicus can ride a horse. Not well but he can ride a horse.
8.) Popularity - Andronicus is fairly antisocial despite his hard-partying ways.
9.)  Acrobatics - Does Stumbling Count As Acrobatic?
10.) Ranged Skill - No time to learn how to fire a bow when there's time to party.

Character Name: Damian Curio

Place of Origin: Damian was born in a small town north of the Captial called Brin.

Occupation: Vigilante, he tours the land fighting bandits.

Personality: Damian is a direct type of individual, he doesn't tend to take too much time to figure out if his words are proper or not. Honest often to a fault he'll speak his opinions. He doesn't suffer disrespect and dishes it back as quickly as he receives it. Though he can be abrasive he possesses a kind heart, and will often go out of his way to assist others if he can.

History: Damian Curio is a direct descendant of Valencia The Great herself. Though the main branch of the family has long since fallen out of prestige and the limelight. With so many other ambitious branches Curio fell out of favor and one mistake after another saw their house broken. Few alive now, even know Valencia's last name. As if The Great is all the surname she needs.

His family were poor farmers. They owned the land the sowed but Damian's birth was inconvenient and during a harsh winter. Under threat of losing their farm, Damian was sold to the arenas. A slave to be trained and rise in the pits, make his master a great deal of money.

He was trained extensively, only knowing how to read and write because he was taught before his enslavement. Damian took well to his training however and once he was thirteen and old enough to compete he quickly amassed an undefeated streak. His popularity soared as a result. Within three years Damian was one of the most popular gladiators in Rin.

Though it was typical for gladiators to fight for years before getting a championship opportunity, fortune came his way early. His owner made a massive gamble with the noble that owned the arena. Either Damian and all the other slaves owned by his master would go to the Arena, or his owner would from then on take twenty percent of every event from then on.

Damian made the most of his opportunity defeating the former champion, and upon claiming the title of champion himself earned his freedom. Recognized among the youngest to hold the mantle Damian only fought once more after securing his freedom, and that was surrendering to his challenger. Thereby freeing him as well before he left the life of a gladiator behind him. Many would stay long after they had their freedom and earn money on their namesake, but Damian would not be one of them.

With newfound freedom, Damian and no skill other than fighting Damian put his skills to use in the countryside, traveling from place to place and fighting off bandits. Making a fortune in bounties and tips from grateful families seeing their loved ones and possessions returned to him. Eventually, he'd inspire a group to follow him and once he'd earned enough for a home he'd get to work learning more skills.

When The Ordeal was announced Damian had just finished off defeating another group of bandits nearby the capital. Seeing an opportunity to fix the injustice that gladiators and other slaves face, Damian had a cause, and he'd make his way to the capital.

Common Knowledge: Damian is one of the most gifted warriors in all of Rin. Renown for his time before and after his freedom.

He has the reputation of a benevolent young man, one who seeks justice where there is none.

Skills: Rank these in order from Strongest to Weakest. These will be used to settle disputes between players should they arise.
1.) Melee Skill- A trained gladiator from the time he was a child, Damian favors a sword and shield. But has also learned how to fight with spears and other two-handed weapons.
2.) Popularity- Damian is a former champion, who went on to be a champion for the helpless, who also happens to be descended from Valencia herself. It's hard to find someone more renown.
3.) Willpower- Damian has had to push through pain and anguish to succeed.
4.) Perception- For a time Damian needed to hunt and survive by his own merits. As well as spot ambushes and other traps before him.
5.) Acrobatics- As an adventurer, he's needed to get up too and move around in combat.
6.) Stealth- Though it's nowhere near his forte, there are occasions it's needed.
7.) Resources- Damian has a modest holding, he could be much richer if he ever returned to the arena.
8.) Skullduggery- Usually his version of breaking into things is breaking down the door.
9.) Ranged Skill- He can throw things, but is much more comfortable fighting up close.
10.) Riding- Mounts are not his friends.

Talents: After a decade of eating the slop they give gladiators he's learned to cook very well. He enjoys dancing and playing the lute. Hunting, fishing, Sailing

Weaknesses: Damian is impulsive, often times acting with his heart rather than with his brain.

He has no skill for riding anything other than a carriage.

Damian is a terrible painter, though not for lack of trying.

Additonal Info: Has a tattoo along his right arm to conceal the branding of being a salve.

As far as connections, Ellya will definitely visit and see about hiring Damian.

She and Vivkia have "family" issues. 

Same could be said for Luca, though, Ellya likely believes there's room for negotiation with that one.

I have no current ideas for Kya.  With Kya's popularity being so low, I'm not even sure there are wanted posters for her.  Not to say there can't be something in the future, like hiring her to kill someone, but currently I don't see anything.

I'm sure there could have been some business dealing with Andronicus and his family. 

That's all I've got at the moment, and nothing is written in stone. Think most of it should be done once the game is live.

Kya is meant to be relatively unknown to all of the "good" folk in this world. I can not imagine your beauty having any use for her (More's the pity) It seems to me that it would be far easier for my orphan to find those who fall on the darker side of the line. However, I made her to play as someone who isn't really known or commented on. Easier to connect with her that way.
