Well, my wizard's case he can indeed be curious. Or perhaps originally hired to help Eilistraee followers but then otherwise get involved with the conflict. Berg by his nature is not evil, more a neutral drow overall (and with suitable romance could lead to becoming better). But he is aware society around him is more evil and ruthless than himself so he has just years avoided from 'standing out too much'.

Elandra Songfire

   Born beneath the stars into the faith of Eilistraee, Elendra Songfire has embraced her goddess's teachings of love and compasion, artistry and might with all her heart. 
   Faith and strength have helped Elendra grow in power quickly, and she has won the friendship of several local men and maids, and been a comfort to a number of outcastes, helping them to find love and comunity. 
   More than capable of--and experienced with--striking down undeniable evils like undead, demons, and uniteligent monsters, she's yet to really find the ballance between extending the hand of friendship and striking down a foe.  Evil men--especially false allies--may find they can exploit this to gain advantage over her--especially sexual. 

ESG: Would you like her as a nudist?  Or save that for skyclad rituals while wearing something that mixes practical and aluring in normal life?

What is your reason for being in the underdark?   

Examples; A human bard may have entered the great Drow city in the underdark.   No finds themselves having to run as their talent in the musical arts has drawn the attention of a powerful matron mother to become part of her menagerie of exotic pets (slaves)

I was imagining something very much like this; my character being drawn to a place such as Skullport, Ched Nessad, Ust Natha, or Menzo; perhaps initially for a contract or a performance, something that proved lucrative and attractive before perhaps witnessing something that didn't sit right or discovering that employment was always intended to end in a slave collar and gilded cage.  The other option was something rather like The Mandalorian, where there's a bounty contract that ends up 'wrong', and my character can't go through with it.  Or maybe it's a little bit of both!

He shown the light upon the map for the hundredth time since he got it like that would change anything. Examining the lines and trying to compare that to the tunnels and caverns he was traversing. It ended like every other time he tried, with an exasperated sigh and the placing of the map back into the small metal bound chest he wore on his waist. He picked up his self modified staff and snuffed the torch..he would need it again when he had to read."Well, just have ta keep lookin'"

Falmgrim hails from Mithral Hall, there he worked the forges in his youth until his handy work was spotted by the ailing master of artifice. Chosen for to be his apprentice Falgrim learned the basics of the craft, the philosophy behind it and put his skills with hammer and anvil to use crafting spell and item to bolster his growing magical aptitude. He learned how to bind the weave to objects, the sigils needed to channel magic through the items he crafted. He served the courts until his master passed, the elderly dwarf giving to him his only regret. His master had come into possession of a map that would lead to a massive archive of lost knowledge, yet it lacked a key and any names, the only thing Falgrims master knew was that the keystone for the map lay in the Underdark. Following his wishes he delved into the Underdark, braving the dangers there to try and decipher the map he received. It's not going as quickly as he hoped, mostly because he can't help but assist those that ask for it, or need it.

Intent

He is built very offensively as a spell based ranged attacker, most of his damage will come from cantrips and class features. His spells very utility with the exception of what he gets from his subclass spells. Though if it has to do with a tool he's proficient in he can excel in situations like that. He might be able to fill either the Arcane or open spot as the Artificer is an interesting class first introduced in Unearthed Arcana, and Later reworked and released in the Ebberon books. Artifice seems perfect to pair with a dwarf.

First I apologize if I am slow getting back to everyone.  With the panic,  I work in food retail is a HR manager.   An well things have stressed.  Top it off,  my schedule has changed on of the other managers has gone on paternity leave with his wife's emergency c-section.  An with everyone panicking I could not keep the shelves stocked I finally gave up sending out personal to get shopping carts.   Needed all hands on deck to man registers and get merchandise to the shelves last night.

Explosions always are a good introduction for a dwarf, and it's great to be playing with Muse again.

Hello. I just started on this site and was wondering if I could join you all. I was thinking about a Human Rogue/Fighter who grew up as a slave to one of the Drow houses, one that was destroyed in an inter-family war. I will get back to you with details once I get your okay.

I am sorry for the big delay,  things have been hectic,  working a lot of overtime.  With the stay at home and as a manager with Grocery store,  Walmart Neighborhood Market store.    I been pulling a lot of hours with call offs.  People scared, and well plainly I have been two,  worried about bringing it home to my children.

Forgive me for being a Noob here but I am not sure what link to go to in order to send you the stats of the character which I have in mind. worse I am relatively new to 5th Edition D&D however have been playing D&D, AD&D, and Pathfinder for literally decades. The character I have in mind is a straight Rogue with the Swashbuckler Archetype. Being sneaky and rather cautious he was recruited from the Slave-class of a Drow Family to act as a spy and sometime assassin against other Drow houses as he was more than able to infiltrate them among their many sub-Drow servants, most of them being rather condescending towards their servants. If you would give me the link that Lady Elven Sex Goddess and Lord Zaer Darkwell used to build their own I would love to join your game. If I missed the link somewhere I apologize. Thank you.

You can post sheet here or send it in PM to Elven Sex Goddess. However as she said; no need full sheet. As she may not pick you, so send concept, detailed background to get idea of personality and his life so far etc. As she seeks chars who can be part of 'good guys' team. My char despite being drow mercenary is neutral (and worked story with Muse's char how our chars connect and motivate him helping her).
