Hmm usually prefer a rl faceclaim buuuuut I'll make an exception! If you could put a bit more detail in what they look like under the general appearance then that will be ok. I want to give people as much detail to work with when they write. You need to tell me how many moles if any or how many freckles but if you could give us a little more detail that works. Just do your best and I'm sure it will be fine!

Imaginative: Gene is constantly in his own head, thinking of philosophy and imagining scenarios of numerous subject and scope. If he finds anyone else also interested in his myriad of subjects, he'll talk, debate, and inquire all day with them, should they entertain it.

Stoic Shell: Gene tends to look bored and unemotional, due to his constant state of inward thought. This has a tendency to cause him to be unperceptive of the outer situation, which can result in potential trouble or a threat surprising him.

Anxious Core: Should his Stoicism be shaken or cracked, however, his anxiety and paranoia surfaces, causing him to be hyper-perceptive and reactive. He'll attempt to leave the situation as quickly and quietly as possible, and read threats that aren't there. He attempts to keep his stoic persona during this state, but his anxiety will break through in some way.

Naive: Since he keeps to himself, his social awareness and ability to read people's ulterior motives is stunted. He think of friend as friend, and can be easily manipulated, if you manage to become a friend of his. Brief History:
Gene Rey was born to a loving, protective family, who indulged his interests, and cheered for his accomplishments. He still lives with them today, in the outskirts of town. They are hermits, recluses from society, and as a result, other than school and the internet, Gene had little interaction with the outside world. He eventually grew tired and frustrated with his parents asocial lifestyle, and in an attempt to develop more of a social life, Gene has begun to look into moving out.

Gene has begun to scout out Gravewell, looking into the possibility of living with a roommate, or most ideally, move into a college dorm to live the college life! Gene's life of independence is soon to begin, and he cannot wait to finally live on his own.

Brief History:

Jack grew up in a good household for the most part until he was 16 when his parents were killed by a drunk driver. At that point Jack grew disinterested in school, social life, or anything. The foster home he was put in was run by an abusive drunk so at 17 Jack decided he had had enough and ran away.

Early on his parents had started him in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training, and as Jack grew older he found a love for Chinese Martial Arts, Wing Chun in particular and during his days he spends time at the dojo with what little money he earns from doing side jobs. Jack is not above stealing in order to survive, though typically he sticks to a Robin Hood mentality of rob from the rich, and he makes sure the item is pawnable without being easily traced back to the original owner. This has landed him in some hot water and run-ins with the police from time to time.

Optic blast: In its infancy it can't do much, maybe heat someone up a little bit and possibly stagger them, as it grows to full potential The green blast will be able to punch a hole in the side of a mountain. Extended use will give Jack a headache and even cause him to pass out for a time.

Brief History:
From the moment Leonila was conceived she was a special child, her mother struggled to carry her in the womb and contracted pre-clamsea. As a result Leonila was born at just 23 weeks old. Unfortunately there was a complication during the operation and her mother Melinda died. Her father Robert had to take a career break to look after his tiny daughter. Once Leonila had been released from the hospital she lived a healthy life with her father. He eventually returned to work as a police man, some men when left to take care of an only daughter buckle under the pressure and treat them like dolls. Well not Robert, he was a tough dad to impress and made sure his little sunshine could take of herself.

It was during her high school years that Leonila told her dad she wanted to be a cop just like him. Bob couldn't have been more proud!, they began training together at weekends, weights, running, swimming. At the tender age of twelve Leonila was a force to be reckoned with and had earnt her purple belt in Kung Fu. Of course shortly after this Leonila hit puberty....Bob had no idea what to do. Gone was his little sunshine and in her place was this sullen, angry, girl who refused to talk to him! After a few weeks he took the bull by the horns and set up a local group for single dad's to help him and others through this tough time.....eventually they broke through the teen years and Leonila got into the police training academy, it was here that she earnt the nickname the lioness! Anger issues: Even when not in her demonic forms Leonila has one hell of a temper. It takes a lot to get her angry but once she is there will be hell to pay.

Weaknesses:

Exhaustion: A full body take over can take its toll, Leonila can not use her powers at all the following day.

God attacks: Although not evil by nature, when in her demonic form she is susceptible to acts of God, holy water, passages from any holy book, holy items.

Dante is an extremely smart, pessimistic individual.  He's long since stopped believing in the "American Dream" and instead believes in money and power pure and simple. It's not that he's a bad guy or anything like that... it's just that he's tired of being so optimistic like his father wants him to be. With sisters that need money and his dad working dead end jobs in pursuit of that so called American Dream of his he's not got time to earn money the nice way. He's incredibly loyal to his family and his people and under neath it all is a good person in a bad situation.

Biography

Dante's parents immigrated to the United States the hard way from Latin America. It was hard as hell and there was a lot of personal struggles to get there but his father was a dreamer. All he wanted was his own shop in America. Dante's mother was more reserved on the whole thing but loved her husband to death. That love was tested by the long process of getting them both to America and settled in Gravewell.

Then further tested when the dreams of the shop were put on hold. Time went on and the two struggled to make a living for their children and future. Those hardships eventually led to Dante's mother leaving and going back to their home town. She did not take her children with her as she felt they had a better chance in America.

Dante grew to hate his father for it. He only stayed for his sisters and to protect them. He began working for the criminal under ground in the town to earn money and help his sisters get the things they needed.

Teleportation: The ability to teleport himself, his clothing, and a certain amount of additional mass from one point to another virtually instantaneously. He does this by displacing himself through an alternate dimension briefly and reappearing in a desired, pre-selected location. He has been shown to be able to teleport distances of up to two miles (3 km) under optimal conditions, although this is usually his outer limit, and he can become severely fatigued if he tries to teleport that distance. He has to see where he is going to teleport (IE Line of sightt)

Beginning would be seeing and hearing spirits that works pretty good as a starter level, I would also suggest or allow him to be able to get dead bodies to talk when he touches them (But please make sure to talk to me about what he finds out). And as for a draining touch you can have this at starter level but you have to physically touch them and it drains slowly at first.

Raising the dead will be a little hard for him but we will have some dead people later down the line. I think it could work but it have to be something like him being near a dead body or in a cemetery or a grave. I'm not sure how to just have him raise up a zombie out of nothing in the middle of like an under ground base or something where there isn't a corpse for him to raise. But you have other skill sets and later might not even need Physical touch. Maybe...not sure yet if that is too OP. I can trust ya though I guess. As for the ectoplasmic constructs that sounds like a Pro/Skilled level ability that could work too.

General Appearance: Amanda has a fit figure with a 32B cup size. She has a slim but strong figure, she has a few scars from her time overseas and from her days in basic training. Her body is a lot stronger than she looks.

Notable Features: Amanda wears her tell tale glasses usually. They are not real glasses she just uses them to keep people from taking another look at her. They are a safety net for her. Niki will either bleach their hair white with some blue or pink at the ends of half of her hair OR she will wear a specially made wig that has her signature look. Niki will use fake tattoos of a small heart and the word rotten to mark the right side of their face. Amanda/Niki has the words Daddy's lil Monster along the right side of her collar bone. Amanda/Niki has the words lucky you and a dolphin with a rainbow a few inches below her belly button her belly button. Amanda wears clothing that covers her various tattoos as much as possible which is hard as over the years Niki has gotten them in increasingly difficult places for Amanda to hide. Amanda hates shorts because her legs have various tattoos. Niki will boldly show off their body in contrast to Amanda's more conservative approach.

Amanda:
Quiet, shy and reserved Amanda is the polar opposite of her alternate personality. Amanda has Dissociative identity disorder, formerly referred to as multiple personality disorder, it is characterized by a person's identity fragmenting into two or more distinct personality states. She is a victim of severe abuse during her childhood. Amanda has genius level intellect but does not openly display her true level of intellect. She enjoys reading and art. She much prefers to have a quiet time than to go out and socialize. Amanda is afraid to get close to anyone and tenses up if someone touches her. She is very submissive and will tear up if someone yells at her or grabs her. She does however have somewhere deep down within her an iron core as she has put up with many horrible things in her life and still has hope that life can be better. She is a hopeless romantic and still believes that love can make everything better. Amanda never gives up and always gets up when knocked down. While she might let people or life step all over her she does not take it laying down. She will weather that storm.


Niki:
Bubbly, energetic, and charming, Niki often hides her demented mind behind a childish exterior, which she can combine with the flirtatious demeanor of a woman who is aware of her good looks and will use them to get what she wants. She is also much more intelligent than she lets on, often causing friend and foe alike to underestimate her. She shares genius level intellect despite her insanity, with Amanda. She has a knack for getting into people's heads. In addition to being a skilled manipulator, she's prone to explosive fits of rage and has a violent streak. While she has many problems Niki does possess a softer side and is capable of genuinely caring about others..it's just hard to see or tell sometimes. However she will be very loyal to people she cares about, but at the same time she struggles with an innate selfishness and a sense of dependence on others. Niki terrorizes Amanda as much as she can. Drugs, drinking, sex and partying are all her vices. Niki seems to have been aware that she is sharing Amanda's body for longer than Amanda realizes, leaving notes, gifts, and instructions for Amanda often. When Niki surfaces, the transformation is instantaneous and almost unnoticeable, but is made apparent by Amanda's sudden violent and strong-willed behavior. The two personalities often directly fight each other for control and seem aware of what is said even when they are not active.

Animal/Beast Mimicry: Niki has animal like traits such as claws, sharp teeth, and a very powerful sense of smell, she can sense 'Supers' just by smell. (The claws and teeth are retractable). Her claws are strong enough to cut through metal. She will move/run like a beast/animal. Very dangerous if she is forced into a corner. Can go into a frenzy.

Above normal Strength: Niki does not have SUPER human levels of strength. No she is just A LOT strong than she looks. When she punches you it does not feel like you are taking a punch from a woman who only weighs 130 pounds. Her legs are powerful as she can leap extraordinary heights.

Healing factor: Niki shares a healing factor with Amanda though hers is no where near as fast as Amanda's. Her animal/beast mimicry provides her with this faster than normal healing as well as heightened senses however her sense of smell is the only one strong enough to be called Superhuman.

Amanda

Amanda is for lack of a better word damaged. She had a rough childhood and went through some terrible things. She doesn't speak up for herself rather she just weathers the storm and sucks up the insults. She will not fight back against her abuser as she feels she has done something wrong to deserve the treatment despite doing nothing wrong. Amanda has PTSD as well as Dissociative identity disorder which reared it's head fully during her time being held prisoner by an enemy faction during her time serving overseas. She will cave in to threats or orders that put her at risk if it means to spare someone pain or injury. Amanda has very low self esteem. For all her inner bravery facing the horrors of war without running away or flinching she is easily scared now because she fears Niki taking over for longer and longer periods of time. She is afraid of herself because of what Niki's ruthlessness can do. Niki comes out to deal with the confrontations Amanda avoids. Emerging whenever Amanda is under extreme stress and/or fear.

Niki

Niki is very hedonistic, borderline psychotic , she is an over-the-top, rude, and violent persona. Niki has many many things wrong with her. She does not seem to be bothered by the things that happened to them during their time served overseas. In fact torture is something that Niki enjoys and relishes even when she is the one on the receiving end. Niki is sick in the head.


Weaknesses:

Fuel: Amanda needs a large amount of calories to keep up with her super powered metabolism or she will tire out/blackout.

Too fast: Amanda does not have enhanced reflexes so for all her speed she has to be careful of being aware of her surroundings or things/accidents can sneak up on her. She can develop tunnel vision if she moves fast enough, narrowing her field of vision.

Too good: Niki's enhanced sense of hearing and super sense of smell can be used against her.

Beginning would be seeing and hearing spirits that works pretty good as a starter level, I would also suggest or allow him to be able to get dead bodies to talk when he touches them (But please make sure to talk to me about what he finds out). And as for a draining touch you can have this at starter level but you have to physically touch them and it drains slowly at first.

Raising the dead will be a little hard for him but we will have some dead people later down the line. I think it could work but it have to be something like him being near a dead body or in a cemetery or a grave. I'm not sure how to just have him raise up a zombie out of nothing in the middle of like an under ground base or something where there isn't a corpse for him to raise. But you have other skill sets and later might not even need Physical touch. Maybe...not sure yet if that is too OP. I can trust ya though I guess. As for the ectoplasmic constructs that sounds like a Pro/Skilled level ability that could work too.

I was thinking that the energy-draining would be an unfocused AoE effect to start with. He doesn't even realise he's doing it, and other people around him just feel more tired, sore, whatever. It would take a while before he could consciously control it.

The ectroplasmic constructs would be basically summoning ghosts, and giving them a semi-corporeal presence. Having physical components around .. a corpse or bones to work with ... would let him raise something more solid, and 'flesh it out' with ectoplasm. As his power levels increased he might be able to do a lot more with less material components or construct skeletal bone horrors.



Some of the Darkness powersets on the City of Heroes wiki could give useful ideas for further powers.

Sam lost his parents at age 4, living with his maternal grandmother until her death when he was 8. With no other living relatives he was made a ward of the state, and placed in foster care. Several families tried to give him a home, but due these were not successful, leading him to spend the remainder of his childhood in residual treatment centers. At age 18 he dropped out of the foster program and began living independently.

Between his somewhat abrasive personality and the frequency of unusual events wherever he was, long term jobs and relationships were an impossibility. Sam turned to petty crime to supplement what odd work he could find, living either in squats, crashing with people he knew, or sleeping rough.

He has a criminal record, mostly for drunk and disorderly behavior shortly after coming out of foster care.
