TNP has watched a remake of a show or movie that they never saw the original of.

Guilty. Ocean's Eleven is the first one that springs to mind. I've also seen the 70's version of Invasion of the Body Snatchers, as well as the other remake from post-2000 that wasn't titled the same. Andromeda Strain as well, saw the tv show, not the movie. The Mission Impossible movies; I haven't seen the TV Show. Same applies to Harrison Ford's "The Fugitive." There are more. So... very, very guilty.

TNP has read the novelization of a movie they've never seen. (For it to be a novelization, the movie has to come before the book.)

TNP dislikes scary movies

Not guilty. I like suspensful scary movies, without excessive blood or gore. If there's blood or gore, it should serve the story, not be there just for shock value. That's why "Alien" is such a good movie.

TNP thinks that computer graphics have been a bad thing for the movie industry.

False. Overuse of computer graphics, yes, but just computer graphics alone? No.

TNP thinks that live action computer games (like Night Trap) is a mismatch of tools.

Guilty. There are ways the genre could be used well, but it would be extremely expensive to produce a true " choose your own adventure" live-action movie. Even with a linear story, the average time of video game is going to be much longer than a movie. It's much much cheaper to produce games with realistic graphics that look almost like real life. And many games don't need that level of graphics.

TNP has recently (sometime between last Christmas and now) been disappointed by a product that was over-hyped.

Guilty. That's why I try to stay away from things that are over hyper. If everyone is telling me it is AMAZING and I'll love it, it makes me nervous because I know my standards will be too high.

TNP has 10+ games they bought but haven't played yet

Not guilty. I don't get to play many games these days, but most of the ones I owned I received as presents.

TNP used to play or does currently play Magic: The Gathering.

Guilty. I bought in during Alpha (long-ish story there), kept playing through Ice Age, and burned out, because other than gimmick decks, the fastest and most efficient decks were always Red weenie decks, and I was tired of facing the same shit every expansion. I effectively sold six pieces of cardboard (Power Nine cards) to fix my car's axle when it broke on the way home from a convention. I then bought back in during Urza's Saga (playing in a social league), and quit again when Urza's Saga ended. I've played some of the online versions, but nothing that Magic has done has been as enjoyable to me as the 1997 computer game (nicknamed Shandalar to separate it from other Magic games).

TNP does not like "collectibles" in concept.

Not guilty. I'm choosing to define "collectibles" as collectible items. A lot of people get a lot of pleasure out of collecting a lot of different things. I used to collect shot glasses, but when I stopped drinking I thought it wiser to stop, but I still have some very nice ones.

TNP purchased something in the last 30 days that made them happy for the rest of the day or longer.

Guilty. I bought boba so I can make it at home. Probably made my month honestly. 

TNP is buying their lunch tomorrow.

Not guilty. I can't really afford to buy my lunch as often as I used to. Can't really afford to buy it as often as I still am, but.... Tomorrow's lunch will be a slice of leftover pizza, a spinach side salad, and a banana. As I have four slices of leftover pizza, one slice will be the central component of four of my next six lunches. And because bananas are the only fruit we have in the house, and the spinach needs to be eaten this week, likely the above will be my exact lunch four of the next six days.

TNP has been out to a restaurant in the last 30 days.

I was going to say not guilty, but I realized that we actually did visit a restaurant for our anniversary about a month ago. I don't get out of the house much, and my wife even less so. So, guilty (barely).

TNP has not purchased candy in the past month.

Guilty. I get a little bit of candy for free at my weekly AA meetings. This largely keeps me from buying it. Plus, I only just finished the three pound bag of Smarties I bought in October (I don't have much of a sweet tooth.) But I probably will buy more later this week or early next week when easter candy will be discounted.

Guilty, probably. I don't specifically recall buying candy, but I probably did. I have a major sweet tooth, lol. I found some gummy candy on temu that I am obsessed with, but I probably won't be able to get for a while because it's from China

I do. It's such a perfect white noise, calm and satisfying. I also like thunderstorms.

TNP hates a certain coffee or fast food chain, but still has a favorite item from their menu despite that.

Not guilty. I don't have a lot of energy to spend on hating on things like fast food and restaurant chains. Yes, given a choice, if I'm gonna eat out, I'd rather eat at local restaurants or go to the coffee shop downtown that was built out of an old victorian-style home, but I don't hate Starbucks for its success. McDonalds or Burger King and others like Taco Bell all have their uses. (When our heat was out for days, the warm comfort food Taco Bell provided was a godsend, even though I almost never eat there now....)

TNP is honestly craving a cheeseburger. (Whether impossible or beef.)

The next person has a firm opinion regarding Werewolves vs. Vampires.

Guilty. Vampires all the way, so long as they're done at least mostly right. Buffy the Vampire Slayer is about as far as I'm willing to go from the typical mythology.

Guilty, team Werewolf here. I'm not really a fan of vamps in general, but they're a useful tool for some storytelling elements.

(and Edward is a fairy. That's what Meyer originally wrote, but her editor pressured her into making him a vampire, since that was the new hotness. So instead of rewriting the whole story, she just did a find/replace on "fairy" to "vampire" in the story, and the publisher printed it.)

TNP wants a backrub, and is willing to commit minor acts of sin to get one.

Guilty x1000. Too many video games that weren't finished, where starting over is boring, but I don't remember enough to continue from the save.

TNP would put a dancing musical sunflower (from Plants Vs. Zombies) on their desk at work, if they had one.
