Can only effect a couple of people at a time and is weaker the longer she sustains it. Cannot create emotions in a person.

Change(ling) Hair: Inherited from her siren mother. Her hair colour fluctuates magically.

If Elodie had been even slightly lucky, she might have at least been born to a Changeling of her Fae father's creation. Unfortunately, though, he instead decided it would be a wise idea to have an affair with a Changeling belonging to a rival of his, a man he had hated and despised since his youth some five hundred years ago. When he laid eyes upon Oona, Elodie's mother, he simply couldn't help himself.

Oona had been created by her master as a pleasure slave in the image of a siren, who could sing and dance and make him happy no matter the hour or the day. She was gifted with stamina and grace, and a voice so lovely it could make a man cry. Instead of bringing her joy though, it brought her pain and, in a moment of defiance, she conceived a child.

Once born, Elodie was promptly removed from Oona's care and branded as the abomination of a half-breed that she was. For eighteen years she was allowed to grow up in her distant father's home, who now loathed the product of his mistake, before she was shipped off to be auctioned.

She has grown into a defiant and strong-willed girl. Her emotions tend to fluctuate in extremes thanks to her heritage, and she feels nothing by halves. Which can be a great deficit at times. Her temper is also incorrigible. Elodie loathes those related to the courts for their snobbish, stick up the arse attitudes and for selling her like a piece of meat for a reason she couldn't control. She is critical of others, especially those closest to her. However, she is also a creative type with a taste for trying new things. Elodie loves making things with her hands.

Extra Race-based Powers:
*Cutey's alternate form is currently depicted; a pint-sized dragon-like creature that can comfortably be perched upon the shoulder. He was 'designed' to be a pet and a plaything, and so his cute form, which ultimately earned him his 'new name', manifested in this way. As well as being made for a pet, he was intended as a pleasure servant; a courtesan, an escort, a whore. In this form, he possesses a scorpion-like stinger on the tip of his tail, which is loaded with an aphrodisiac. He doesn't sting people unless asked to, though.
*His human form is in a constant state of flux, as when he assumes it, he often acts in an Incubi like fashion. He uses surface thoughts to assume a (male) form that is pleasing to the eyes of the woman he is currently serving. This state of flux also applies to his genitalia. He can produce relatively large quantities of seed, or not even a drop, depending on what his client wishes of him.  In fact, with no refractory period, and a literal command word that makes him orgasm on the spot, he is a very... unique sexual partner.
*His talent for service extends beyond the sexual, making him an excellent domestic slave. He is dutiful in his cleaning, food preparation, etc. He possesses a number of low level magic abilities that make this job easier (he can swirl a drink with his finger to cool it, start a fire in the hearth with a few sparks from snapping his fingers, literally eliminate dust; so on and so forth). He can even magically mend broken chairs, tables, etc., restoring them to their original and complete form.
*Is immortal, and capable of recovering quickly from injuries, as well as healing others of their injuries (providing aftercare for anyone that, for instance, may have been on the receiving end of a lashing, or the like). The amount of healing he can do is limited when it comes to others. Scrapes, scratches, nicks, small burns, etc. He can't purge poisons, or heal damaged organs; he can't stop arterial bleeding.
*His blood actually tastes sweet to vampires, though not to the potency of true Fae blood. It's still pretty high quality, though.

"Cutey" was some peasant's child, who was freely given up as part of a Fae deal to the Unseelie (The covenant that was made would require the couple to give up their first born), and so since he was a babe, he has been suckled by Unseelie wet nurses, and molded and shaped into what he is now.

The one who eventually came to own him put him to work at a brothel they owned; first as a cleaner, laundry-washer, cook, etc., and later on being put 'on the menu'. However, unlike most Unseelie, his Mistress was very protective of her property, and treated her 'objects' very well. They ate well, they received good treatment and accommodations, although there were consequences for failing. Mistress got help for those who tried and failed, and punished those who failed to try.

Mistress usually 'milked' the aphrodisiac poison from Cutey's dragon form and would mix it into the drinks that were served 'on the house' to her clients, to put them into a more libidinous mood (and some times placed into the food of slaves that were starting to show lackluster performance). That being said, Cutey was content. In some ways, he was the 'privileged' one, he was Mistress' favorite.

Surprisingly enough, for a Changeling, he doesn't see what the problem is with slavery. Admittedly, he was one of the lucky few to have a GOOD owner--one who actually gave a damn about their property, treated them with respect. He never saw any lasting horrors (and the few times clients went too far, his Mistress kicked their teeth in--admittedly this was because she had been spurned, her rules had been broken, but most of the slaves under her care took it as her caring for their well-being).

Jamaal grew up in a free changeling family outside a harbor town in Riverbend, and had not an idyllic childhood, but certainly a lot of happy memories of baking with his no-nonsense mother, flour everywhere, and being carried out to the beach by his father, and particularly of his family's matriarch, the slim and still-beautiful Grandma Amoy, who took his education in hand.

Jamaal was accepted into many apprenticeships, a bright boy with what everyone encouraged him and believed to be a bright future. His sister, Aaliyah, was getting married to her long-time partner Rose.

Jamaal’s family was targeted by a powerful man. His parents were merchants who collected fine art, and he wanted a piece. His mother wouldn’t sell. It was the summer after Jamaal’s eighteenth year. He’d just been accepted into a prestigious goldsmith's workshop. He was out late celebrating.

He came home to a nightmare. Robbers had broken into his home, killed his family. Taken the art and anything else they could sell.

Jamaal went into a cycle of grief and rage. He didn’t even tell goldsmith he wasn’t coming. He just didn’t show up.

He spent years using his pathfinding to track down the robbers. Consumed by the desire to bring them to justice, he finally surprised them. He tied them up. He meant to kill them.

Instead, he sat down and talked to them. He told them what it was like, losing his parents and family so suddenly.

He talked, and then he let them go.

One of the robbers was moved by his story. He turned his partners in, and after serving his time in jail, he found Jamaal again. They became friends.

There’s still one person watching Jamaal: the man who contracted the mercenaries. To them, Jamaal is a cute plaything.

They’ve not yet made their move.

Extra Race-based Powers:
- Shadow Manipulation: Hadley is able to summon and control shadows; a tangible force on its own, instead of just the absence of light. These shadows can obscure and be given solid form, allowing Hadley to create platforms, shields, tools, and even weapons as sharp as obsidian.
- Alternate Form (Shadow Form): Hadley can turn his body into a shadow itself. He becomes basically two dimensional and can climb up along walls, including solid-form shadows that he blends in with perfectly. It does not allow him to fly nor can he strike out from his two dimensional plane.
- Enhanced Agility: Hadley's strength and stamina are akin to a well-trained human, but his speed and agility are enhanced beyond the norm.
- Enhanced Senses: Hadley's sight, hearing, and olfactory senses are stronger than most; also allowing him to see in complete darkness and through his own shadows.
- Light Vulnerability: Hadley can summon shadows even where there is light, but they suffer from it. Bright light (such as direct sunlight) make shadows move slower, smaller, weapons less sharp, solid-form shadows more brittle, and dampen Hadley's enhanced healing and senses.

Hadley is the son of Donovan Cohen, making him the oldest heir to the Cohen family. It didn't take long for the overbearing nature of Donovan to make the boy rebel against the expectations and obligations that came with who he was. As a young Changeling, Donovan's expectations seemed to be impossible to ever reach, and Hadley worked to get his father's attention the only other way he could fathom -- through subverting the man's demands and making his life more difficult. It was rarely anything more than an annoyance, and the punishments were severe, but it was more of an interaction than he got from his father otherwise.

As Hadley matured and his Changeling abilities developed, he took more responsibility for his role and for his family. His previous efforts against Donovan formed the start of his training to be an asset of his family, ensuring the prosperity of the Kingdom of the Sun -- and that the Cohen family remained the strongest among the Houses. His relationship with his Father bettered over the years, and the two became close; many believing they knew each other better than anybody else. He's developed into his own person despite the overbearing nature of Donovan Cohen -- starkly loyal to the family even if he's critical of his father's fascism and unquenchable lust for power. He works hard to balance the two: keeping his family prosperous without seizing too much control; keeping Donovan from growing too strong without earning the man's ire.

In his free time, he's friendly and sociable; confident without being arrogant. He can come off as calm to a point of being aloof, but many would know of his almost addiction towards adrenaline -- towards new experiences and risky situations that has helped him grow as strongly and as connected as he is now.

Extra Race-based Powers:
Soothing Presence: Those of exceptionally good will power, or who are unaware of her talents, are capable of resisting it. Generally, Serenity is surrounded by an aura of well… serenity. She is soothing, calming, gentle and sweet. Petting her behind the ears often brings a murring sigh from her as a sense of ease and relaxation wraps around you.

Healing touch – She is very good with herbs and mixtures, she can use small bits of touch based healing – but it is nowhere near as powerful as a Fae would be.
Canine traits associated with senses and a few other additions. She hides her ears in her hair, usually pinning them down, and her tail is usually wrapped around her waist. A bit more prehensile and playful than she might like.

Serenity is first and foremost the a very polite and sweet young woman. She grew up in a not so likable childhood, dedicated into her mother’s temple to atone for the sin of her mother getting seduced by the man she calls ‘the Demon’. ‘The Demon’ is Serenity’s father, a Changeling, according to her mother’s journals.

She loves life and loves to live it to its fullest. Freedom colors her brilliantly, and she loves laughter and brightness. She is finally happy, and she would love to remain there for all time. She has her father now, and that’s all that matters to her – but her story starts a stone throw into the past. It’s what formed her, partially, into the young woman she is now.

Roughly twenty-five or so years ago her mother was… subjected to an interesting situation. As a Sanctified Maiden of the Sun God, and a freed slave, Diana was not exactly the happiest of women. She was sold by her parents as a child and literally turned into a puppy for some Fae bitch and her horrible child. Eventually Diana found freedom and managed to get back to the human realms.

She had never been used as a sex slave and was instead kept as a dog for the entirety of her time there. Some soul, Diana wasn’t sure who, turned her back to a young woman and dropped her off at the borders of a Temple of the Sun God. That was where Diana grew the rest of her years.

She was fully dedicated to her position as a Sanctified Maiden, and she loved her life. Then The Demon appeared, and the sin of lust stole her away for a single evening.

Serenity was the result, a very pup like child, that reminded Diana of the past that she had faced. She had no qualms with neglecting, even forgetting the child existed. She was the mark of her shame. She would not sell her child into slavery, because she herself knew what that was like, but she wouldn’t help Serenity flourish.

Serenity grew in a life of neglect and abuse, but being within a temple like she was she set herself up to follow the Sun God, perhaps he would love her where her mother would not…

But the moment her mother was gone the other ‘Maidens’ brought to Serenity the journals that belonged to her mother. She had spent her entire life being told that her father was a Demon, but in that journal there was a name – and … passionate detailing of what happened between her Father and Mother. She decided she needed to find him herself.

She needed to find her father, and that was what she exactly set out to do.  She traveled carefully, and her abilities made it where few ever wanted to harm her, and she managed to find her way to her Father.
That… was when life got very interesting.

Serenity is a pacifist at her core, she hates fighting. She just seeks and thrives on the desire to be loved. That is all she has ever wanted. To be loved, wanted, and cherished. Now… now she has that. Sure, others may not believe it ‘right’. But Daddy treats her right.

The first is that you mentioned that exceptionally powerful Fae might become things like Gods, like Anubis and the like. How would that work, and are applications for that kind of character open? How would they fit into the Court? I might have missed it since I'm on my phone, but who's in charge of the courts? What's the heirerachy like?

2) The other character I'm considering is a cute Unseelie Femboy character. Would there be any interest in interacting with him, or getting smutty with that kind of character? Not much point making him if nobody's interested, after all!

Application for ancient Gods is very open! The faerie realm's hierarchy is totally open to player creativity—meaning, if someone wants to make a Seelie or Unseelie queen, they're welcome to it!

I would love a femboy kitsune! All my characters would be totally on that like a kid on cake. I don't think you'll have any trouble with that!
