Quite ineffective, and also alarming given the resurgence in popularity of trans and gay predator myths. Though many states already legally require trans people to be chemically castrated(They consider it necessary to be considered another gender), and that is common globally.

Welllll not only did Alabama almost elect Roy Moore, make abortion illegal even in cases of rape and incest, and even expanded joint custody rights for rapists who brought a child into the world via nonconsensual sex, this chemical castration bill seems a way for them to cover their own asses.

The Vatican also calls on doctors to ‘intervene’ on intersex patients, even when parents do not agree.

I keep wanting to make sarcastic comments or laugh over how foolish this is, but I keep remembering the kind of evil this sort of view supports.

A very great article by a friend of mine Katelyn on the serious lack of LGBTQIA+ people actually investigating and reporting news stories focused upon LGBTQIA+ issues. This goes into detail with examples where completely untrustworthy people are quoted as sourcs and elevated despite having no knowledge on these subjects, how many trans journalists are being pushed out, the lack of people reporting on and writing about these subjects who have any understanding of them, how many are just going for sensationalist news and causing great harm to various communities.

While it started in April, it has been noticed that 8chan has warrants for searching and seizing property at their offices that are in the USA relating to a mass shooting by a member of the pedophile haven and Neo Nazi terrorist site. "Things can be concentration camps without being Dachau or Auschwitz. Concentration camps in general have always been designed—at the most basic level—to separate one group of people from another group. Not every concentration camp is a death camp—in fact, their primary purpose is rarely extermination, and never in the beginning. So far, 24 people have died in the custody of Immigration and Customs Enforcement under the Trump administration, while six children have died in the care of other agencies since September. It contains information from former workers at youtube on how the algorithms were designed explicitly without care for preventing harm, and that the goal was engagement, views, and view time, or in other words money. And how youtube has not cared about this issue. Despite the fact that many extremists have cited youtube as how they came to view the world as they have, including mass shooters(Though it is not the only avenue for this).

It also includes some discussion on how left wing youtubers are using some of the style of far right videos to lead people into questioning conspiracy theories. Now note you still shouldn't just hang on the every word of popular people speaking on a subject, Hbomberguy a big left wing youtuber(though not the biggest) always stresses to actually look up information about what he's talking about and to check his source too, as one shouldn't just listen to anything he says without question. Many mention this regularly which is very true, it's important to verify and actually look for sources even for causes you agree with. Don't fight one form of extremism by falling into another close minded rabbit hole.
