History: Gwen should have known something was wrong when on her wedding night her new husband told he was too drunk. The wedding had been wonderful, perfect. Now she was finally giving her flower to her husband, all the years of protecting her honour and now she could enjoy that which had been denied for her... well he'd be alright in the morning. He was so he claimed hung over in the morning... and so the excuses kept coming, the lies kept coming. She put it down to her not being desirable enough and she tried everything, she worked out more, bought expensive lingerie, massage oil, everything she could think of to no avail. Until six almost six months after being married on her birthday she broke down crying to her mother in law that married six months and nineteen years old she was still a virgin.

"Harry you son of a bitch, you said you slept with her!" "Mom you know I'm gay." "I didn't know you were that gay, you said you could handle it. Your never going to be governor without a family, highschool sweetheart and all." These revelations sending poor Gwen into a fresh flood of tears as the two argued. Apparently he didn't love her as anything more than a friend, and had only married her to hide his sexuality and help his career.

Gwen was broken hearted that not only did her dear Harry not love her like that. They were able to patch things up a bit and are friends but still she would have no kids, she would not have an affair and betray her oath before god and the community. But nobody should ever under estimate Abigail the mother of Harry and Matriarch of the family, a master manipulator and shrewd politician who was not going to let anything stop her ambitions for her son. Abigail spoke to Gwen and informed her that the bible would give them the answer. And wouldn't you know it right there in Genesis 38 was the answer, she could have a child, raising it in the eyes of the Lord as her and Harry's without any wrongdoing. I mean this did mean she had to sleep with Harry's older brother Samuel but after all it was in the bible... but after a few months of nothing she was sent off for pregnancy tests and no she was perfectly fertile. But this didn't make sense Samuel had half a dozen children... but after a year Abigail demanded Samuel get tested. A rather furious Samuel and Abigail rounded on Samuels wife to have a nice chat about how her sterile son had six children with her.

This seemed truly horrible to Gwen, she would never have children and worse yet now she had known an man's touch she found it hard to contain her feelings. Even though Samuel was willing to continue she said it wouldn't be Christian and now they knew as they did it would be nothing but adultery. She'd lie awake at night beside her husband, untouched and having to put her hands straight at her side for fear they might wander, giving in to ungodly temptation. But wise Abigail came to her and soothed her, said there was another way. Gwen was initially reluctant as this was taking the concept outside what was outlined in the bible but after a visit from Father O'Toole (who received a generous donation for the church roof fund) where he explained that in these circumstances exceptions were made to allow members of the flock to be fruitful as the lord desired them to be. Father O'Toole had been quite willing to do the deed himself though getting close to three times her age but Abigail would have none of it, she suspected he'd helped along one too many family trees in the area.

Still with Father O'Tooles blessing she accepted that this was her duty as a wife, and deep deep down a sinful part of her rejoiced, she would lay with a man again and stop the ache in her loins. She packed away some of her lingerie she had originally bought to entice Harry for after the wedding... she had plenty of them, she wasn't entirely sure why she decided to pick up some more before leaving.

Character O/O’s: Eve is bisexual but doesn't realize this. She's going to be exploring her sexuality as she goes in this game since sadly so far she's only had one lover in her life, that being her brother in law.

Reason for Choosing/Working at the Ranch: Matthew works for the ranch to support himself after losing his job as well as well as to work off the pain of losing his wife through divorce. History: Matthew has been working in the modelling line of work for a long time,and he was one of the few sought after models at his prime. But soon, younger models were slowly preferred by his company and he received less jobs. Reason for Choosing/Working at the Ranch: Mom needs money for medical bills and he needs a way to stay out of trouble and drugs.

History: Roland used to work in a chop shop for a street racing gang. He would take cars apart or put them back together, do custom modifications, welding and his own casting of small parts. There was money in it sure but there was a lot of risk too. There were also a lot of drugs and violence. Neither of these things were new to Roland growing up in a broken home, on the wrong side of town, an older brother already involved in a gang it was just a matter of time. Predictably he got into drugs and trouble and kept getting into drugs and trouble until something changed his life forever. A big fight went down against a rival gang and his older brother lost his life. Roland was really close to his brother and it shook him to the core. On the heels of his brother’s death, his mother was diagnosed with lung cancer. It became apparent that they needed help with all the medical expenses. Roland didn’t want to keep doing the same thing he had always done. His family couldn’t afford to have him get into trouble. He also needed to get out of the city and away from the culture that he suddenly saw as toxic. He quit drugs and after a tip from a buddy and little persuasion he got a job at the ranch. His skills as a mechanic can be applied to all the necessary machinery around the farm and he’s not a bad handy man either.
