Also... I've got a few sheets sitting in my inbox. I'll probably start getting approvals done over the weekend - so if you haven't heard from me yet I am not ignoring you... Just busy. I've got a big D&D campaign switch over happening on Monday so a lot of my writing time is going into that at the moment. However I want to start getting sheets approved so people can begin connecting and what not.

3. How do people typically survive day to day? What sort of barter system is in place?

5. Who/what are known to work with/for Imperius'? Does he have an army of some sort?

Great questions, Ama!

Just sent in a first version of my app! A couple holes in the background still, but it's a start. If Wisp approves his timeline as given, he arrived at the Iron Compound 5 years before the game starting point and acted as a field agent (spying, locating and screening recruits, delivering messages and so on) until he was pulled in to do the veteran mentor bit a little over two years ago.

The field agent bit would be a good point to jump on for connections. Before the whole Imperius thing started, he was mostly travelling around, working as a professional thief for hire. This also leaves room for connections, of course, but I'd like to steer most to the later period so that it doesn't start to get into suspense of disbelief territory. Currently I have discussed shared background for that period with Lithium and her Angel. One or two, ideally characters who have criminal ties or could sensibly be (involved with) someone he steals from preferred.

That leaves out Marrow then, in terms of background, other than being at the compound for roughly the same amount of time ;-)

Well, for that time, any background works! Just the part before the 'end of the world as we know it' is something I'd like to keep mostly within the circles Remy actually would have moved in. Come to think of it -- law enforcement of some kind or another would definitely work for that too.

1) Two billion or so, give or take a couple hundred million.

2) Aside from the fact that most major cities are in ruin the landscape itself is pretty much intact. There are places - such as Wakanda - that an example was made out of and annihilated. New York City was another particularly devastating attack, and that entire area is really fucked up. There's the obsidian throne that floats in the sky and sort of orbits around the planet freely.

3) Depends largely on where you are. People still need to eat and in the 8 years since this all started, there has been a fairly large come together. Communities take care of themselves. In places where bartering does happen - away from large population centers, typically - it's a more rough life and trades can be pretty lopsided. It's resources for resources. In places where a functional government is still a thing (though even there said government is barely functional), there are going to be guidelines and a general trying to take care of everyone.

4) There is no political outlook on metahumans, because there are no stable governments - that is, Imperius doesn't allow militarized forces to exist, so governments have no way to assert a claim of any kind. Most of them refused to get on board with his ideas and so they were just taken out to demonstrate power and to segregate people further. General outlook on metahumans though varies wildly depending on where you are. People have seen the heroes do amazing things before, but they've failed pretty hard. A lot of people were disillusioned when the X-Men and the Avengers fell. That said in recent years (2 ish) there has been a slow-moving growing support for the resistance - as they represent the last true chance earth has at getting out of the situation they're in. There are still plenty of people that think this is their fault, though... And since some work for Imperius, it's hard to know who's on your side or not. It's a tricky situation, but bolstering public appeal is something pretty high on Tony's agenda.

5) Imperius has utilized sentinels and other robotic things. However, he's got, at this point, a substantial human military force that has pledged itself to him. As for individuals, that's largely unknown with the exception of the Hulk, who was dominated during the fall of the Avengers.

6) Pretty standard marvel. That said access to that technology is somewhat limited. Even someone like Tony, who probably has the most advanced tech available, has finite resources to work with. Building on this is yet another goal of the resistance. There are places where work is being done for Imperius, or that things have been kept stored away from people that the resistance wants access too.

What about food? i.e. is most infrastructure still in place, just highly reduced to the necessities and not so much luxuries or is the world slowly becoming a true post apocalyptic wasteland where food becomes more and more scarce, technology eventually fails, etc?

From what I'm reading it sounds like most basic infrastructure and trade are still in place, but I wanted to be sure.

1) Yes. Basic infrastructure and trade is still in place. Ants can continue to be ants, so long as they don't try to build forces to oppose the throne. Yes, gas shipments still come in, as well as food. There is a lot more reliance on what's around you in general, but free trade is still a thing.

2) Yes they do. The internet is very much a thing.

3) Primarily working to find and eliminate the resistance. The idea that there are people there that would challenge him is a focal point. However in terms of major things, he's mostly just been hunting metahumans down and eliminating them. Nothing super major has happened in a few years. There's been a lot of maintaining the current situation happen, rather than furthering it in any specific direction lately.

There were big battles that Imperius was personally involved in - we know that he killed Charles personally by physically crushing his head. This implies some degree of superhuman strength, but not its level or nature. So my question is -- what is known about his powers?

Also, were there any big clashes with other super-powerful beings who didn't fall in line? Apocalypse is in the NPC list, so he's presumably around in some fashion and the Hulk is listed as dominated, but are there any notable big-league individuals who were killed or chose to serve? Do any known beings remain on Earth who might challenge Imperius but for some reason just didn't?

Fairly little in all reality. Imperius himself hasn't really stepped up to do much himself because he hasn't directly needed too. His organized bads have been able to handle that. The only people that would have any sort of knowledge about his powers are survivors of the X-Men and the Avengers; Tony, Storm, Rogue, and others if they could be found. With that said, Tony would reveal to the veterans - there's some degree of strength and or durability there. He assumes some sort of mental domination or some other way to inflict his will on others since he took control of Hulk. There's definately faster than normal speed.

Like Charles, Thor was killed when the Avengers attempted to tackle the Throne. Hulk was dominated. Doctor Strange hasn't been seen in years - though no one can say if he actually engaged with Imperius or just vanished. Other beings like Thanos/Galactus have not been directly seen at this point - however it is known that Apocalypse is at best working with Imperius, and at worst working for Imperius.

Anyone who might remain is part of the resistance's charter - find them, and recruit them. Because the Throne was able to hit so many places at the same time, it's hard to say who all is left... and since so many people were killed and driven into hiding as to not being killed it takes time to track them down and figure out what's going on. In the 7 years the resistance has been around, no doubt they have scratched many names off the list - but for the purposes of leaving recruitment fairly open I'll leave the list vague for now.
