Angelina:

Looking in that mirror gave back imagery of a woman bordering on mid-years. Angelina sighed at what is the coming events of her evening.

Her hard work to achieve decent infrastructure for an African populace while maintaining sacred lands seemed to almost fall into place a few weeks ago. She has finally found an investor willing to carry out the deeds of creating roads. This construction will occur before investing in partnerships of naturally sourced produce and a mining contract. The potential investor also seemed to care about maintaining the values of the local culture. But he resists the plans of maintaining a specific piece of land as sacred.

The investor appeared to be just as relentless in his needs for the project as she is in keeping the locals maintaining traditions. That suited her fine. However, she figures that maybe she read him wrong. So she needs to meet him to be sure. He must understand that he cannot destroy a sacred plot of land belonging to the tribal belief systems.

With another sigh, Angelina remembered the notes and documents exchanged between them. In those exchanges, it has been clear that these indigenous groups need to remain traditional within their lifestyle.

Yet, she hoped that what this investor brought would allow the tribes to become more of a part of modern African society. The culture of each local civilization hesitated to move too much forward into modernization. The reluctance is because the governments of the groups did not want their religions and base cultures corrupted. The groups have this fear due to discovering that other societies bordering them lost what is a traditional life.

So it is no surprise that within the willingness to sell property, the locals hired a team of social scientists and business experts to help set standards to regulate any attempts at investing in the area.

This is why Angelina became a part of the team. She gave it a deep knowledge of the religious systems and cultures of the area. She is connected to the leaders of the local governments due to her past missions’ work and research in the area.

In many ways, she was profoundly involved. It this area of Africa that her first onsite research work and missionary duties took place. It is different than her current life. Back then, she learned to relent into having much less of anything even though she came from a world of privileges. Today, she once more existed in a world of privilege. She chose to limit material wealth and lived in the ways of simplicity.

“ You know, beautiful... ' A pause via inspection in the free-standing mirror. '' ...he won’t be looking at your hair. So stop fuzzing. You should be more worried about whether he can provide the region with your demands. "

Once more she allows a sigh as her long fingers of well-groomed fingernails thread through her dark brunette tresses. Those collected wayward strands meet a composed appearance.
