Trump announced he'd be going, and the Bush family do still work with Trump and support him they usually publicly try to hide that. They have mostly the same politics after all. Just the Bushes usually try to keep up a public appearance while Trump doesn't so associating with him is damaging. It is honestly strange that Trump was banned from McCain's funeral(His family and admin weren't they mostly went just he was not invited) since Trump and McCain agreed on most things and McCain mostly voted in support of his policies.

The Bush family has set out plans for two memorial services, one on wednesday "for family and friends" at Washington's National Cathedral and the second at Houston on thursday; the second service would celebrate Bush in a Texas context but without pulling in a mass of national and international guests either. I think they are going for a double funeral without massive amounts of presidential pomp and circumstance, and by saying the DC memorial service is for friends and family they may be hinting to Trump that he does not belong there.

Ironically it was conservative media such as Fox News and the Daily Mail whose results in Google first shown up for this, and are also outraged about this (albeit for different reasons). Unfortunately they cannot see how their own rhetoric could lead to such incidents in the first place.

I have my gilet jaune horror story…
Tonight some guys were waiting outside the mall, and when I came out, going home from a party, I just could feel the moment they saw me. I looked behind to see if there was some security but no (with the holidays we're having soldiers with rifles in that kind of places). They came closer, asked me if I speak French and where I live.

Do they think they're a militia or what? I said I'm late and apologized for leaving (urgh I hate that I apologized). They followed me, calling Madame behind me until I reached my building. I went in through a back door and starting ringing hoping a neighbour would let me in, which happened quick. But it wasn't over. I was waiting for the elevator and I turned toward the door and I saw at least one of them behind it, gesturing for me to open (?). Obviously did NOT OPEN! and escaped with the elevator. That fits both in the news and in bad & ugly I guess. I try to be light and positive but this was very scary.

I called a relative to vent after this and he asked me their skin color, if I looked at them in the eye and how I was dressed. Of course. That must be my fault (I was wearing a black and red party dress I actually wrote about today). Fail.

Take care of yourself, keep an eye out just in case they are hanging around, both for your safety and for anyone else they might want to jump, maybe just call in sick and take a day off from work for yourself, make it a self care day. Just stay safe.

I don't know whether or not to believe him. On the one hand, if it is him and not a clone then he's likely telling the truth since you can trust him.

But if he is a clone, then I think he's probably lying since credibility doesn't just transfer to your clone.

Also I suppose I should explain the joke in case people aren't old school Star Wars nerds. In the old EU, clones had a vowel added to their name. The Thrawn Trilogy started this. On and off different stories would use this tradition.

I'm feeling better today but I'm still kinda shocked. I freaked out when I heard noise in the living room (cleaning lady let herself in). I've traveled in the orange extensively and occasionally in the red. I'm used to deflecting situations and reacting fast but I was on my turf and just not expecting something like that at all. Ironically we discussed the Gilets jaunes at the party and were happy the area was clear… My cousin asked also if they were ultra right, ultra left or anarchists, as if I know...
