This was very touching and really humanized the California wildfires from Napa/Sonoma from last month, which have been causing grief/heartache/tears for me personally and for a lot of people in my community.

I'm hoping to visit the area again soon - I know that many wineries and businesses have reopened as of late October but they've been seeing a lot of cancellations and have noted in local news that many of the fears (of bad air quality, devastation from the fire, etc.) are unfounded and they really need tourists to return!

Comedian Louis C.K. has said the sexual misconduct allegations levied against him are true.

"These stories are true. At the time, I said to myself that what I did was okay because I never showed a woman my dick without asking first, which is also true," he wrote. Good for him to .. sorta.. apologize I guess. Hopefully all of this can help prevent it all in the future now that there is a major cleaning going on and with the awareness perhaps more people will actually start to listen when we try and tell them what has happened.

It's so sad and terrifying.  I went with a local volunteer organization to help distribute supplies.  The fire just came SO fast with the winds that night.  I live over 50 miles south of where the fires hit Santa Rosa, and I remember waking up in the morning (before reading the news) and smelling smoke in the air.  I'd wondered then if someone was burning stuff in their backyard, but the truth was so much more heartbreaking.

Run vinegar through it once a month and they are perfectly clean. No issues with ours!

I'd love to have a multiple-cup machine, but considering I can't drink more than one cup for health reasons, I bought a keurig. Love it!

Any particular type? I'm working off my stack of cups and I have two filter cups that I will be using after I finish off the stuff my friends have given me.. that and trying to figure how to do tea and cocoa using them.

Whenever someone describes the use of vinegar in a cleaning context, assume they mean white vinegar unless specified otherwise.

Cleaning a machine's water pump and tubes with apple cider vinegar would be a mistake.
