I can't seem to find my 3.5 stuff, and with how some things are going I don't think I'll be able to play this, in part because I think Pathfinder has spoiled me some.  A shame I know, but alas it happens...

You know... something was mentioned in the first post about a bonus feat for background or regional flavor... anyone know where I might find those? I didn't look at them.

That's a shame-- you know, there's  -lot- of free stuff online, since it went open-source?

@Keelan: Sorry to hear that. A lot of people like the power curve of PF better than DnD.

@Blinkin: The Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting has a lot of them. Most of them can be found here: http://dndtools.eu/feats/categories/regional/

Ok, thanks for the link. It's down to two options. Twin Sword Style and Stormheart.

I'm leaning heavily toward stormheart because it matches her history more... so Sorry Boss, that completed character sheet has a change in it. Adding Stormheart as the bonus regional (+2 to Profession; Sailor and balance. She can at least keep her feet on a slick deck! lol

OK... working hard on this one.  No equipment yet, need to add some more bonuses.  Really a stretch here, but an amorous undead slayer here, borrowing much advice from online builds: http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheetview.php?sheetid=275404

Working on the barbarian-ish type, which I expect to go much faster and be far less powerful in this setting.

History: Ryan was the son of a former sailor who became a farmer and woman that had no skill in the magic arts. They lived in Waterdeep as farmers, however early on they found that their son had a affinity for the dangerous arts. They raised him as best they could for as long as possible and wished that their boys powers would go away. Sadly after he continued to do damage to their farm lands they sent him to Blackstaff Tower so that he could learn to harness his powers.
Ryan arrived at the age of ten at the tower where he was welcomed with open arms. He was introduced to Bendak Moonbreeze a moon elf who taught a class on the art of war and the use of magic. While in the class he harnessed his dangerous skills and learned the arts of war. Ryan quickly became the the top of his class and won favor with Bendak and became his star Pupil. He studied hard for ten years until he mastered everything he could. Along the way he pushed away a few advances from women who had become impressed with his skill at the more powerful magics. He dedicated all his time to bettering himself and his craft. Soon he was able to call himself a true War Mage and awarded the title by Bendak himself at graduation from the Blackstaff Tower.
Ryan took six months off after his graduation to return home and visit his family. There he helped his parents with the farm, learned the basics of being a sailor and found family values in the process. When he returned to his appointed job in Waterdeep, Ryan started off as a low ranking member of a group of guards. Slowly the small group became more and more known around Waterdeep for stopping high profile crimes from gangs that were trying to impress the local thieves guild. Ryan, and the others were promoted for their hard work and the unit was soon spread out to go on quests for any noble that needed them done...

Mystra save us!!!

On second thought. Tymora save us!!! With that bunch, we'll need all the luck she could provide!

Hey just becuase i have an uncle who flesh sculpts horses and frogs together to make them better jumpers and another who enjoys being a bassethound and another that is permanently blue doesnt mean we are all crazy or anything.....hmm that sounded like a better arguement in my head.

An Edlritch Knight, a Harpell mage, and a war mage? This is going to be cool!

@Ixy: That character looks pretty interesting. Just keep elaborating on the backstory, any relationships she's ever had, friendships, mentors, etc.

@Finn: What are you having trouble with? Let me know via PM.

@knightsdestiny: It's starting to fill up, but I think there's still room. What do you have in mind?

@Batman: There are some great websites that host character sheets for you. Myth-weavers is one of them. It's where my NPC sheets are stored.

@Muse: Looks good! Just elaborate on his backstory, any relationships he's ever had, friendships, mentors, etc.

If your character is a frequent visitor of Waterdeep, he could be friends with Sim.

Well, Medlineth has mostly kept to the woodlands, though I imagine she has a reputation among the locals as being a good-hearted druid, but not one to be trifled with, as she does not take encroachment into her woods lightly.

Its unlikely she's gone off and encountered other characters, but they may have had pass run-ins if they've found themselves deep within the local woods at some point. She's likely been watching over the woods since before any of the other characters were born.

I haven't nailed down exactly where she's spent most of her time as a druid, though I gave her a regional trait from the High Forest, which is relatively close to Waterdeep, but that might just be her birthplace, since I believe there is a decent wood elf population in the forest.

The Ardeep Forest is the closest forest to Waterdeep, and considering travel time, if she has a reputation in Waterdeep, it's likely that she'd spend most of her time in the Ardeep Forest.
