OK, this is a new one.

PMed a cowriter to apologize for not posting when I though I had.

They replied; now, when I try to reply to them once more, I get a 'no direct access' error.

Anyone know what that's about?
Whether it's a breakdown or a breakthrough, shit still gets broken.

I've had this appear a few times.  It persists for a while, then everything returns to normal...

No idea of what causes or resolves it, I'm afraid, but you're not alone!

It did clear up the next day. Weird!

The software is really showing its age.

It seems to be caused by it thinking you are trying to perform a very different operation, and getting its wires crossed. 

Honestly, I think it's time to move on from SMF.
