Forum Error?

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me. When I view the 'Who's Online' list, I see a red exclamation point next to my rp partner's name. When I hover over the exclamation point it says, 'Session verification failed. Please try logging out and back in again, and then try again.' I logged out a few minutes ago when I saw it, and logged back in, but the error is still there.

Does anyone know what this means? If so, can you tell me how to fix it, if it's fixable on my end? Thanks in advance for any answers.

I had this same error when trying to log in. I was on mobile. I switched to desktop version of the site and had no issues.

To clarify, is this error appearing on your page? Or is it appearing next to the action displayed?

If it is next to the action such as "Sending a message." Followed by a small red exclamation mark, it is not an error on your end. I've seen the same icon many times, and the error message can vary a bit.

As far as I am aware, this indicator isn't problematic. I believe it is a function indicator from the actual forum itself, rather than Elliquiy. If the forum has an issue with your connection, it will give you a pop up box in most cases.

I'm sure that someone else can shed some better light on why it appears, but I don't believe this has any importance or relevance to your session. The indicator will vanish either after the page is refreshed or the person commits a new action.

Okay, thank you for the info. You've given me the info I need. I think the issue has resolved itself. When my partner was on for a little while earlier tonight, I didn't see the red exclamation next to their username anymore. Thank you!
