1. TAKEN YCs family is in a cult that worships a powerful entity that has given them the status and wealth they have enjoyed for many generations. And the only reason they have been allowed to benefit for so long is due to sacrifices given every few years. YC is the youngest adult member of the family and it is time for her to learn the secret to her life of privilege.

1A. TAKEN YC has just turned 18 and is finally called upon to know the truth and to do her duty to keep the family blessings coming in. Every seven years the family plays host to the entity they worship in the form of a man and the youngest mature adult of the family is presented to him as a gift. For a week, MC the strange powerful being wearing the skin of a man, uses YC as a plaything for his every desire. Is she willing to do what it takes to keep her family in riches, even if the price is her innocence and dignity?

1B. TAKEN Every 11 years, the entity visits the family estate for a month in human form in a ritualized ceremony and celebration. YC is one among several of her cousins presented to the entity as a gift and companion during his stay, whoever he chooses, that family gets EXTRA blessings heaped upon them, especially if the entity is made happy during his stay. YC is chosen...unfortunately, this family event she has invited her boyfriend to meet the family for the first time and struggles between doing her duty to her family and keeping her first serious, healthy adult relationship intact during the month.

1C. TAKEN Downton Abbey/Jane Austen era. It isn't planned, the VISIT. One rainy day, the entity shows up at the family manor in the form of a man and the family scrambles to host him respectfully. The daughters of the family, including YC, never knew or heard about this part of the larger family/clan history but they have very short time to get on board with it because the entity is going to choose one of them to deflower that night. YC is the one chosen and although she goes into it with a positive mindset "for the good of the family", when she is molested and seduced during dinner, right in front of her family, she throws a fit and rejects the entity. This could have dire consequences not just for their family unit but the whole "family", the broader clan they are related to who benefit from the power and magic the entity gives them. Unless YC makes amends and goes with the entity to live in the Never Realm with him for a month.

2. YC's father and/or mother are oppressive and abusive and despite YC being 18+ she still lives under their roof.

2A. Downton Abbey/Jane Austen era/Prairie/Colonial. YC's father is a sick tyrant and resentful of having a daughter instead of a son to carry on the family business and legacy. So, to torment and punish her, he invites a depraved stranger(MC) into his home to take sexual advantage of YC, hoping to get her pregnant with a son and to pass the child off as YC's sibling.

2B. Downton Abbey/Jane Austen era/Prairie/Colonial. YC's mother hates her and considers her a burden on the household. YC's father frequently leaves on business and while he is gone, the mother pays a neighborhood rogue and ne'er do well(MC) to rape and torture YC. MC IS a criminal and a bad enough guy to take the money and do what he is paid to do. However, he's not such an unholy bastard to torture YC as much as the sicko, demented mother wants, and colludes with YC to help her escape and start life anew somewhere else.

3. The family has a few key members throughout the tree who are very powerful witches. This is because every decade, the family engages in a ritual to summon their familiar demon and he blesses one of them with the gifts of his power. YC has been groomed for this since puberty, her entire family hoping she will be chosen by their demonic Lord.

3A. When YC is chosen by the demon to receive his power, she is excited and celebratory until she realizes this transfer of power occurs through sexual intercourse. The joining ritual is the most brutal, frightening, pleasurable thing YC has ever gone through and she tries to forget and move on with her shiny new powers. However she breaks down and ends up summoning the demon again later and starts up an affair with him that threatens the entire family's continued generational relationship with magic.

3B. YC is "ugly/afflicted" in some way and the entire family, despite prepping her for the lottery, do not actually consider her a viable candidate. However, during the summoning in the coven, when the demon appears, he chooses YC to bestow his power upon. It becomes clear that the power is transferred by sexual intercourse, and YC surprises everyone when she puts conditions upon the demon being able to have her that way. The selection has been made, it cannot be undone or changed, so, everyone's hands are tied including MC's. The only thing to do is to do as she demands before he can finally have his way with her.

4. MC is a mentor to YC in some capacity and she gets more than she bargained for.

4A. MC is a world renowned chef and YC wins an opportunity to apprentice with him. Except when she shows up, MC refuses point blank and threatens to send her home. This is YCs dream and she is willing to do whatever it takes to learn from the best...including starting a sexual relationship with him in order to secure a spot by his side.

4B. YC is a talented musician/singer and MC is her newest teacher and mentor at her music school. He is demanding and harsh and even starts asking for inappropriate things from YC. But what can she do other than give in for her dream?

4C. YC is sent to a mental hospital for some pretty heavy disassociation issues. MC is her sadistic doctor who is clearly not trying to help her but mold her into his perfect plaything.

5. MC is a serial killer.

5A. MC is a serial killer and meets YC online as a serial killer enthusiast. They meet up in person for YC to start training as a killer and murderer herself.

5B. YC joins a cult for serial killers thinking it was something else; she's never killed anyone before and she doesn't belong here. She has to get out before it becomes obvious to anyone else. Yet when she meets the cult's charismatic leader(MC) she starts rethinking her exit strategy and tries to find a way to stay in the cult to get closer to him.

5C. YC has trauma(she was attacked years ago, or held hostage and forced to watch people hurt and killed right in front of her) and occasionally goes into these fits of rage where she "explodes" at people. The instances have been pretty bad in her life, pushing away her family and friends and almost getting her arrested. However, upon witnessing one of her fits at strangers in the DMV, MC, a serial killer, becomes intrigued about her but not as a victim....well not in the strictest sense of the word.

6. The isolated cabin in the woods.

6A. YC is lost in the woods after surviving a plane crash and a snow blizzard is encroaching upon her as she wanders, trying to find civilization again. The best she finds is a cabin in the middle of the woods and a stranger, MC, takes her in and gives her shelter until the storm passes. It soon becomes clear that the danger isn't the elements outside the cabin but the man she is depending upon for safety within.

6B. MC has kidnapped YC and taken her to a cabin on some isolated property in the woods. There, he tortures and rapes her, slowly breaking her down to become the companion he's always wanted.

7. The revenge.

7A. YC was brutally beaten and assaulted some time ago and MC is her friend who has ties to the criminal underworld. After YC has a chance encounter with her rapist in daylight hours(she buys coffee from him or he passes her on the street) she tells MC about it and what happened. MC goes after the guy, hurting him badly enough he'll never hurt anyone again. But now MC comes to YC looking for payment for his good deed. Turns out in some cases, her savior is worse than her rapist.

7B. YC has vengeance that needs doing but little control in her life to do it. Everyone treats her badly. Everyone is cruel and insufferable to her. Everyone takes advantage and uses her like a punching bag. If she had the means to make them all pay, she would. An entity from another realm, MC, answers her call and sits at her shoulder giving her the inspiration, opportunity, and encouraging little push she needs to one by one hold her tormentors accountable. He empowers her with sex and releases her guilt with pain, a dark courtship. But what is this doing to her and who is she becoming?
