M seeking F. AU (less fucked up) Joker/Harley roleplay

I like to keep this short and sweet, since I know you're going to be looking through a ton of these request threads looking for "the one". So here's what you need to know.

I reply pretty frequently (at least once a day on average unless otherwise occupied), and am looking for someone who can do about the same. If that means once every 24 hours, or twice every other day, whatever. As long as we are making steady progress, I can stay engaged in the story.

Please take a moment to look at my on/offs, the link to which is in my signature. The top part is all you really need to worry about, the rest is for my own sake to keep track of ideas I’ve had that I might want to pursue at some point.

Joker/Harley

Now, I like many people enjoyed The Dark Knight trilogy, and like many, think that the romance between Joker/Harley is pretty fucked up to say the least... but, what if we did a little tweaking? Make The Joker less sadistic towards her, and seeing her as an actual partner in crime?

My Joker would be a bit different, to the extent that he doesn't kill anyone HE believes is innocent... he views Gotham as corrupt, with the police on the take, and the only noble person actually fighting against it being Batman.... however, the Bat only uses half measures, and he fails to target the big criminals... not the mob bosses of Gotham, but the rich and powerful who rule it from the shadows. The bankers, the hedge fund managers, the politicians... the people who twist the law to suit themselves.

When the Joker said "this city deserves a better class of criminal", he meant it... And so, he started a reign of terror in the streets of Gotham unlike anything anyone had ever seen before. He would rob banks, setting up explosives inside and taking hostages, only to release them all at once, his goons firing loose wads of cash out of t-shirt guns, causing civilians to push through police barricades to pick it up and allowing him to escape in the chaos. He would burn down an art gallery in the expensive side of town at night when nobody was there, destroying millions of dollars in precious, privately owned art. He would target corrupt cops and gang members alike, mowing them down in drive by shootings and elaborately staged "accidents", dropping a heavy steel safe filled with cash out a 12 story window down onto a corrupt politician taking bribes from the mob.

That is, until he was captured by Batman... this is his first time in Arkham asylum, and we'd start the story off with Harley Quinn interviewing him for the first time.
