At this point what I am looking for is less of a writing partner and more of a worldbuilding partner. The goal is a story, but currently the world is too vague for me to set a story inside of it.

This is what I want:

A modern setting in which women are the dominant gender. A story which addresses and entertains the ramifications of that concept, including sexuality, but is not fixated on sexuality.

What I do not want is to write male sissification fantasy. Nor do I want to write a femdom story that focuses on the male aspect of it. If you’re at all familiar with this concept, then you know what I’m talking about.

The first thing we will address is why women are the dominant gender. In our reality, men are the dominant gender because they are stronger physically than women. There are other reasons, but by and large it comes down to strength. For the vast majority of human history, and even to this day, might makes right, and men are stronger.

In this alternate reality, why are women the dominant gender? I have some ideas, but I want to hear yours first. It can be biological, technological, supernatural, some combination of the three or something else entirely. What I do not want is for the reason to be strength. In this setting, men are still physically stronger, but there is something that gives women a greater edge. Have women always been the dominant gender, or did something change in our physiology to turn the tables. (As I write this, I’m favoring the latter, not the former.)

What is it?

From there, I’d like to explore the social, political, and sexual ramifications of this gender flip. What does it look like to be a woman in this setting? What does it look like to be a man? How does this alter the family dynamic? Business? Social encounters? Sexuality?

Once the world has been built to our satisfaction, we can begin to explore it. This can be as a series of unrelated one-shots, or a story built around two characters

If this subject interests you, please PM me with a pitch: the causes for female dominance and how you would like to see the story develop. Please DO NOT post here.

I look forward to hearing from you!
