A Sword & Her Shield

Watching the series over the weekend really breathed life back into my first love of writing in high fantasy worlds so I'm craving a plot involving an Aes Sedai and her Warder. This pairing can be separate or parallel to the canon story.

As a heads-up, the show is the only reference I have thus far besides starting the first book and perusing the Wiki. Knowledge of the Wheel of Time 'verse isn't necessary from you if you'd like to transplant this idea into an AU, but if you are a lore nut, great! (and please bear with me)

There aren't any specific story lines I have in mind yet because I'd like to hash out the details together via PM. My current preference is to play a Grey Ajah - but I'm open to others - who embarks on a political mission with her Warder when something goes awry on the journey or at their destination, such as uncovering an assassination plot or raising flags for a much bigger threat to come.

I'm open to spinning a long, winding tale with a decent cast and multiple plot arcs although I'm equally open to keeping this a closed narrative that might focus more on the development of our Aes Sedai and Warder's relationship. At the very least our characters should beginwith an established bond and friendship... and we'll see how it changes from there.
