BelleOfTheBrawl

Intro

Note: I am at max capacity on stories at the moment, but if your interest is piqued please feel free to send over a PM so we may discuss your idea so that we might engage at a later date! I have increased my number of stories at once to 5, providing my partners are lenient and patient. At minimum you can expect 1-2 replies a week.

Hello, and welcome to my own little corner of Elliquiy! You may call me Belle, and it’s a pleasure to be here with you all. :)

I am from the US, a total nerd (anime, video games, tabletops, etc) , and while I am pretty private regarding my personal life I am open to building relationships with my writing partners here and general social interactions outside of writing together. I am 420 friendly and an LGTBQ+ ally, and I will write with fairly much anyone as long as the story is engaging and my partner is mutually respectful and excited about our writing.

Please do not reply to this thread. All inquiries and questions/suggestions need to go to PM. Thank you!

Availability:

I’m going to be fairly busy throughout the week, so weekends are your best bet to catch me on a more active day, though if I had to guess at an average number posts you can expect I would put it somewhere between 3-5 a week, though on weekends I might be able to do more than one post a day. If I’m super engaged in a story and your time allows, I wouldn’t be opposed to rapid fire posting, either!

Roleplay Samples:

I am happy to provide writing samples upon request to those who inquire about them, especially since I am going to request one just to gauge whether or not we would click as writing partners. I don’t go by labels such as “Advanced/Literate,” etc, and I’m not a grammar nazi, but sometimes writing styles simply do not mesh. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with an inquiry due to this - I promise that me turning down partners due to their writing alone is fairly rare!

Posting Length:

I’m generally pretty detailed with my writing, meaning I’m averaging 3-5 paragraphs per post because I greatly enjoy showing and not telling - my characters’ inner monologues sort of run away with me sometimes, but I promise I won’t bury you in a mini novel! (Unless you’re into that sort of thing?)

Ons & Offs

Current Cravings & Loose Setting/Plot elements

Note: Please excuse the spartan nature of this thread - and the fact it’s not quite as pretty/coded as some. I am a lowly code gremlin who breaks dohtml instead of makes it. :( Also, I prefer to do the majority of world-building cooperatively and organically, so I will leave a great majority of the detail to be filled in jointly at a later date as each of my partners is bound to have different ideas/tastes. I’m down to recycle some ideas, but I am not looking to write the same storyline with two different partners at once, so please keep that in mind. This is just to prevent burnout so that each partner gets all the attention and effort that they deserve. However, after some time has passed and an idea is marked as free/rewrite again, you’re welcome to indicate your interest in it! <3

Fandoms:

For those of you looking to play in an established/fanon universe, I will include a list of all the fandoms I am willing to play in and knowledgeable about. Of course this list isn’t entirely comprehensive, so if you have a fandom you’re interested in you can always check if I’m familiar. As long as the setting/characters are interesting enough to me, I’m usually willing to fly by the seat of my pants to make stuff work! You’ll just have to be forgiving of any mistakes, of course. :)

*The Witcher
*Pride and Prejudice
*Dracula
*Star Wars
*Marvel/DC
*Dragon Age
*Mass Effect
*Dragon Ball Z
*Vampire The Masquerade
*Buffy/Angel

Original Settings/Pairings:

*Steamy fantasy based on Fairy Tales (Beauty and the Beast is a top fave)
*Fantasy Historical/Medieval (High or Low)
*Superpowers
*Sci-Fi
*Billionaire BDSM done right (think 50 Shades but without the cringe.)
*Western
*Post apocalypse - setting/story has to be very engaging because this can get old pretty quick.

Particular Cravings:

Format: MC X YC

The Witcher -
OC sassy af master thief with a secret x Geralt
Yennefer x Geralt

Marvel/DC -
Jubilee x Open (I’m willing to play Jubilee in DC or Marvel Uni)
OC Brotherhood Member x Open (Marvel)
OC Criminal x Open (DC)
Poison Ivy x Open (Marvel or DC Uni)
Selene Gallio x Open (Marvel or DC uni)
Selina Kyle x Open (I’m picky about this one because I’m less confident with writing Selina but I’ll try to make it work.)
Lois Lane x Superman

Note: Some male roles I’d adore to pair with any of my female roles are the Winter Soldier, Wolverine, Toad (depicted by Joe Gilgun - weird af request, I know), Batman, and Superman. Of course if you have any particular character in mind from either universe you’d like to try we can definitely discuss it! <3

Star Wars

Note: I’m only open to writing as an OC or potentially Rey, if you’re into that sort of thing. My Rey would have to be AU though because I didn’t really like how she was written as a Mary Sue. Pairings are mostly open. Characters are assumed non force-sensitive unless written as Jedi/Sith, but of course this arena is mostly open. I am down to also play in the Old Republic era, or the most current one. We can go AU as much as you want, so long as the story remains interesting.

OC x Kylo Ren
Rey x Kylo Ren
OC x OC Mando
Jedi x Sith
Non Jedi x Sith
Sith x Sith
Jedi x Jedi
OC x Jedi
OC x Sith

Dragon Ball Z:-
Note: Random, I know, but I am a Vegebul stan. Please note that I’m really only interested in portraying either Bulma or Launch in this franchise, and I will only write Bulma with Vegeta because it just feels wrong otherwise. However, my girl Launch can be paired with pretty much anyone - I might be willing to try to write her with Vegeta but….we will see.

As far as setting, I’m down to write in pretty much any timeline or AU setting, so long as it’s engaging and makes sense. I’d prefer to keep it in the DBZ universe though - nothing like where they’re all regular humans at University, etc.

Final Thoughts:

Thanks so much for taking the time to read through this mess, hope this finds you well! Again, if you have any questions or suggestions, please don’t hesitate to PM me! <3

Until next time!

The early fall evening was ripe with a myriad of scents that were no doubt tickling a certain mutant’s senses right now, wherever her favorite feral happened to be lurking. Selene possessed no superhuman sensory perception of her own but even she could smell the distasteful and overpowering odor of human decay and death. Hospitals were to be avoided at all costs, because she thrived off of life and vitality - things that were not typically found in places that hoarded the invalid and insane. No, she did not pity Victor’s keen nose at the moment, but then again she was of a more delicate sensibility than he -

Humorous, if one considered how many hearts she had - quite literally - forcibly removed from chests over the years.

These foul humans deserved every ounce of their shared brutality.

William Stryker was a blight on the face of the Earth, one Selene hungered to see removed in the most painful, prolonged way possible. Oh, she had a list of things she’d simply love to do to the anti-mutant extremist and his little cult following of madmen. Backing Magneto and his Brotherhood was only step one; taking out this board meeting of medical professionals who backed Stryker in secret? This was a message, but mostly just for fun. These men had no real power, no real say in the organization slowly but surely making moves to end as many mutant lives as possible. They were going to die feeding a piece of information to a much bigger beast, and that message would read: You’re next.

Ah, setting the snare was always so satisfying.

It took her only moments to handle the security systems; a few well-placed spells ensured there would be no trace of them present, but Stryker would know. Because Selene had made sure of it - it was rather like marinating a stuck pig. Had to let him set, soak in all that fear and paranoia, and only when he was absolutely frothing with it would they deliver the final blow. If you were to ask her, these twelve doctors were getting off relatively easy.

Stiletto heels clicked on the nauseatingly clean floors. A dainty white handkerchief covered her mouth and nose, spelled to repel the offending odors. Long gloves obscured pale hands and blood red nails; her ensemble, as usual, was all black - a simple sheath dress and trim overcoat that hugged her svelte and curvy frame. Long raven hair was in a sensible bun, all the better to keep it free of the entrails that were going to be flying about shortly - her Victor was a messy eater, darkness bless him.

The elevator ride to the top floor boardroom was mercifully brief, the long and equally sterile hall glaringly white and plebeian. Selene arrived first it seemed, but she didn’t mind. A quick wave of her hand ensured that the occupants of the meeting room in front of her would not leave, and a second sound-proofed the premises, as well as made sure no one would get it in their mind to wander in. Now, all there was left to do was wait while Victor cleaned up a few of the unfortunate souls that were also marked for death this lovely evening.

She truly did enjoy these little murder-dates.

Her stiletto against the wall, she leaned back, savoring the anticipation. If she had not been wrapped up in the wicked things she was going to do in that room, and then to Victor afterwards, he very well could have caught her unawares. Instead, without looking in his direction, she tsked. A bonus of her psychic vampirism was a psionic connection to those she fed from - the aptly named Sabretooth had a low, growling psychic signature that thrummed with blood and rage. It was a bit hard to miss.

”Victor, if I didn’t know any better I’d say you were trying to sneak up on me.”

This meeting had been arranged in the usual fashion - carrier pigeon. On the understanding that the pigeons actually made it back to her, because she’d gotten attached. Captain Fluffington III was a loyal and true servant and he deserved better than being a light snack/toothpick. And it wasn’t like it was easy to train carrier pigeons...

She turned to him then, mismatched eyes lighting up with that familiar mischievous fire. Stilettoed feet ran to him, as she was feeling particularly giddy - long arms wrapped around his neck and she kissed him, hard and deep and lingering. It had been a solid decade, and she’d be lying if she said she hadn’t missed him.

”Shall we?” She asks, slightly out of breath, breaking the kiss only because they had a job to do..

Deep Wilderness, Alaska
Midnight

The full moon cast her silvery glow over the unforgiving wilds spreading out before her, snow mounting and wind squalling - cruel gusts of winter wind tearing at any exposed flesh and ripping what little life remained on the trees into southbound currents. A chorus of wolves soothed the petite figure on the cliffside as she adoringly gazed up. The cold months south were nothing compared to the savagery nature could unleash this close to the Northern Lights she loved to watch dance across the otherwise solemn midnight skies. The stars rose from their silvery beds to watch the events unfolding below this night with keen shimmering interest, though the moon remained serene and indifferent as she was prone to be.

Her namesake ceased her admiration of the night sky, finally deciding it was time to begin. She knew where her prey lie, knew he was on the move. A group of foolish huntsmen thought they could weather the blizzard that raged hours earlier, now they were woefully lost. Their campfire was a beacon leading straight to them through the hazy mists of cold and deep foliage. The wilds would offer them no protection, no assistance when the beast came for them. These men thought an open clearing safe - it was a kill circle. They had effectively trapped themselves, cut themselves off from any potential means of escape by attempting to block the cruel winds with their supplies. All this did was ensure they would die more quickly - though Selene had seen enough evidence to determine that whatever she was hunting was quite fast. Escape would have been impossible for any typical fragile mortal.

Thankfully, she was anything but human.

The sorceress was clad in nothing but a simple white dress, tiny bare feet leaving impossibly small imprints in the snow. A trail she knew he would find. Pre-planned magical intervention had already placed a sweet-smelling woman's scent with matching luggage at the site of the sleeping men, who would soon be far too occupied to notice anything that didn't belong. Will he see the trap for what it is? She wondered, and she had to know. Selene was in the habit of collecting other magnificent beings such as herself, acolytes if you will. But they had to prove that they lived up to their status before she would embrace them with the kiss that would bind them for eternity. The moon priestess had been disappointed before, and those that let her down did not live long enough to disappoint her again.

Adrenaline coursed through her veins, the thrill of the chase spurring her heart to pump faster as she sensed his approach - he was much, much faster than even she could have hoped. Blood and fear and death clung to him like a natural musk, scentable only because of her innate familiarity with such things. His mind was abuzz with savage lust for the kill and this was something she could appreciate in another, even if she preferred a more methodical approach herself. He was closer now, ever closer. Selene waited in a small clearing between breaks in the trees, three openings behind her leading to three different potential paths for her to flee. Her sorcery manifested the sickly sweet scent of fear and fatigue, the brand she knew would likely excite an animal such as him the most. Her heart thundered across the space between them, panting breaths puffing white clouds of exertion and cold she didn't feel.

Before he burst through the thick foliage, Selene cast an illusion - putting herself in heavier furs and boots, hair long and loose and wild as the night around them. For added effect, branches and leaves stuck out of the unruly dark mass at odd angles, a small line of blood trailed across one cheek - presumably from a harsh encounter with a cruel branch during her hasty retreat.

"P-please..." She stutters out, her accent changing to a soft and barely audible (to normal mortals) North-American dialect. When it was clear no mercy was to be found, she turned and ran, darting in between trees, deliberately at a slow human pace...

But when he broke through the foliage just moments after, hot on her heels, there would be no scent - no sound. No trace of her until...

Just ahead, further than she should have been, she was still running - panting, crying.

When approaching a master of magnetism, one needed to take certain care. Such as removing certain bits of metal from certain places of the body as to avoid any unpleasant unwilling separation in the event that this little surprise visit were to go sour. Magneto wasn’t one who had a reputation for being particularly kind to those he deemed as a threat, and she’d hate to lose her temper and accidentally smite him on the spot at the first sign of naughtiness. It would be a shame, considering she was a fan of his work. While mutant affairs weren’t exactly high on her list of priorities, she did greatly enjoy shattering the carefully laid plans of anti-mutant organizations...

Perhaps, just perhaps, they could help each other.

What Magneto might or might not be able to offer in return was of little consequence because she was sure he could prove useful eventually, in one way or another. Any self-respecting sorceress had built in contingency plans during meets such as these and Selene was no different. Dressed in a sinfully snug black Gucci sheathe dress and black kidskin stiletto boots, she was glaringly out of place stalking the streets of Mutant Town. Brief skin to skin contact was initiated with every available passer by - there was even a brief retreat into an alley with a rather forward and enthusiastic gentleman with a firm and kissable mouth. He’d wake, slightly disoriented and with no memory of how he came to be propped up against a dumpster. It was better to feed before these meetings; getting irritated during talks on an empty stomach could sometimes lead to Selene making a meal of her would-be associate, which was not always ideal.

Especially when she drained them to dust.

Oops.

Control was not difficult for her to come by, but the sharp edge of the gnawing and endless hunger that she cursed herself with was not one that was easy to ignore. It sliced deep, satiation never lasting long. She would forever be empty, waiting to be filled with warmth and joy, only to never truly be content. Ah, well, there was always a price to pay for power. She could be a hag, like some unfortunate practitioners with contracts gone awry.

Better her soul than her looks.

The hidden base of the Brotherhood was located using simple scrying magic. No doubt there was a security system picking up on her presence already, and to show she meant no harm, her hands were raised as she approached. Slow, coy smile firmly in place, Selene allowed her palms to glow with an eerie violet light. ”I mean no harm - I’m a mutant, like you. I am here to talk. I think we might be able to help each other...Erik.” She could sense his mental signature, knew that he was hearing her. Her last statement was an amused purr, ”Unless your Brotherhood is more of a fraternity thing - “ she sniffed indignantly, letting him know her exact opinion if that was the case, though she knew it was not.

But he didn’t need to know how much she knew.
