Lorien and Teni's original story started up in the north. It's a long way from the Silver Marches to Candlekeep. Plenty of space for the others to join on the trip there and get in to side quests and hijinks along the way.

We need a more interesting hook for Teni and Lorien.  What we have isn't good enough.

Maybe they're competitive about everything?

Maybe they're not siblings, but lovers?

Maybe they're step-siblings from opposing tribes?

I dunno.  I need for them to have more hooks that they can RP off of rather than stand around watching.

Its unfair to say that's all they do. We got an introductory post in before the game was restarted.

EVERYONE is getting more RP hooks.  Up to this point, everyone--except for Teni and Loriel--have received more RP hooks.

I am not singling you out saying that your PC "stood around watching."  I AM singling you out by pointing out that you haven't gotten more hooks.

Please acquire at least one more hook.

Well I have a feat and I might as well tie it to something that reflects the ties I have made thus far.

Anyway as for Teni and Aramis, Im willing to wager that when she was trained by Nate is when she met Aramis. As for the how of it, since she was being trained with Nate they met over a game of tiles in which Aramis lost a bet to set them up with ale for the night. (cost him a weeks worth of funds) and it was a decent time. So he's an acquaintance.

And because Aramis lost the bet he had to go out hunting, fishing and foraging for his supper a few nights. Thats how he met Loriel. Possibly when she was out tracking a pack of orcs near the country side of Waterdeep. Wanna flesh this out Foxgirl?

Also, Since Nathaniel has a Third hand so to speak(and it can be invisible) creative uses of mage hand and mage hand shenanigan's might ensue. I can imagine that when he discovered this, he lifted up a few skirts in his time while sitting with twin and Aramis.

Sure, something can reasonably be written up. I imagine a wizard wouldn't be too terribly adept at woodsmenship, and Lorien sure is helpful for those she ran across. Not kind or nice, but helpful.

Maybe something like... lorien learns that Aramis is doing this as some sort of punishment/bet doled out by Teni. To stick it to her sister and maybe embarass her in some way, she helps him hunt a great big stag.

That's what I've got so far.

Edit: it wasn't explicitly stated earlier, but I had imagined a sort of split and source of tension between the sisters being that Lorien felt her sister was the lucky one. A proud and magnanimous knight, feeling overshadowed as just a serious hunter/ranger serving with the other nobody soldiers.

think Nate and Rain knew each other in the past from being at court at the same time?

Perfect in my eyes. And suits the gruff ranger well enough. I figure that Aramis could make a small fortune with the meat and thus being able to pay back what he lost from the bet with Teni and Nate ^_^

They could have, Latter after he was trained and returned to Baldurs Gate. So when he was 18/19 that would be a good time.

All right, I will restart the IC thread tomorrow.

Since no one new jumped off, we will continue the game using the old IC and OOC from before.

Funnily enough Teni would think Lorien the lucky one. Lorien's an actual soldier while Teni's just a trained guard that deals with drunks. :D

Poor poor folk loosing their money to ale due to betting. At least with that much ale they probably woke up with a redhead between them.

I like both ideas.  Whichever one you like more we can go with.
Sorry, forgot to follow up on this one. Well since apparently we're not actually restarting from the beginning, it'd probably be best to go with the second idea. It's a bit late in the scene for big dramatic reactions after all.
What a thrill...with silence and darkness through the night....

It doesn't matter too much.  Whatever happened would've happened off screen when Rain met Faybyn and the others at the gate.
