Female Heroines

Hi all.

I am looking to start a roleplay that has two female hero-figures (me and another woman). I was thinking of playing someone like Buffy the Vampire Slayer but am open to other ideas.
Having never done this before, I would appreciate any insight/help in getting this idea up and rolling!

Along the lines of Buffy, as in a woman who can kick butt, or a vampire killer? I'm an action movie junkie so I can think of several female heroines similar to Buffy in that aspect.

If you wanted to go a little more girly or more fantasy based, Sailor Moon-ish type stuff is always fun (probably dated myself with that) That could even be modified into something sci-fi if that's more your cup of tea.

Just spouting off some ideas here, feel free to ignore if they don't fit with what you want.

I would LOVE to do something like that...I am looking for more of the woman kick butt thing over vampire thing....do you have any specific ideas?

No, nothing specific...but I'm sure we could come up with something.

What type of setting do you prefer? Fantasy, Historical, Modern, Sci-Fi/Futuristic?

I would prefer historical, modern or sci-fi....in that order.
