	❖	Born in an isolated village to the North, our characters were raised as ninja from the day they were born to serve their Lord. Your MC, in particular, has quite the renown among their village—known to be the best of the best. As a reward for his exceptional abilities and loyalty to the clan, he is given a wife—Yoshino, a young kunoichi of little acclaim (though her lack of presence is perhaps a testament to her ability as fame does little for those in their profession). However, she is reluctant to serve her new role, disinterested in child-rearing and marriage to a man she has only known in name. But she was raised to serve the will of the clan and keeps her trepidation to herself. The two of them begin to navigate their lives together as husband and wife, but soon find that they must rescue their Lord's youngest daughter from the clutches of a rival ninja clan. ❖❖❖❖❖❖❖	❖	Pandora City is a sprawling and technically advanced metropolis that is largely under the control of the corporate elite. Olm Corp in particular has its roots in everything—from food, utilities, entertainment, healthcare, the law—there is little outside of its influence and the executives of Olm Corp have made great efforts to keep the masses ignorant, entertained, sick, and poor. Where the elites enjoy an isolated life of luxury and decadence, the streets of Pandora City are overrun with crime, poverty, and corruption. My MC is a woman who goes by the pseudonym Joy and is a member of a group that opposes Olm Corp, often taking a vigilante stance in the streets of Pandora City since the authorities are just as corrupt as anything else. While Joy may seem inept—clumsy, nervous, and coming off as almost cowardly—she's dedicated to the cause and is surprisingly competent at what she does. 	❖	It is customary in the Grand City of Vaftonn for young acolytes to leave the Harrow Church and follow in the steps of their foremothers and forefathers, who once walked The Golden Path for the sake of peace. The pilgrimage is much less bloody and much safer than the old days and merely serves tradition and a reminder of histories passed. Iole is a priestess like any other, or so she insists, but to the Harrow Church, she is considered a special case. She was born with a fine attunement to magics and a keen sixth sense which has lead them to believe that she may be someone of great significance—perhaps even a prophet of sorts. Because of this, they employ the help of a knight or mercenary (Your MC) to keep her safe on her journey. However, what was supposed to be a simple pilgrimage becomes a great adventure when they're suddenly faced with an unforeseen threat.
