Against All Odds

By all means, she should have hated him. The way he talked, walked and fought. Disgust – that was what she was supposed to feel inside upon looking at him. Destined to hate, not only him, but his entire family. Yet, at night, when the sun set in the far distance, she found herself being drawn to him. And yes, she could have run straight into a sharpened blade throwing her arms out for him, but not that she cared. If he wanted her dead, then he should have killed her long ago instead of searching her out evening after evening. But as soon as his lips found hers, she knew that she would run in hell for wanting something so forbidden. She wanted him, no, needed him. All the problems their love would cause be damned, no rational thought was guiding her way. What else was she supposed to do? When all was left and all was done, he would remain by her side, defending her whatever it took. Other kingdoms would strive to seek the power they held, hiring assassins and vile tricks to bring the couple to their knees. But if they stuck together, fighting off power-hungry families and races, they would always come out on top, right?

Yes, yes, if you know me, you’ll probably roll your eyes. What? Flower is doing another medieval fantasy? Well, yes. It’s my comfort zone and I just revel in the lore. I also love the forbidden love story vibe going with it. What I am desiring right now is a passionate love story that defies all rules. Classic, set somewhere in a medieval fantasy where wolves, witches, vampires, warlocks and myth exist. My character, a royal of some sorts (details can be discussed) is the foresworn enemy of your character (also a royal if you want to, or something else opposing her of course). When war is right at their gates, our characters fall in love due to unfortunate events (forced marriage, sent to assassinate, undercover infiltration etc.). Oh, what is that I smell? Intrigue, sex, war, drama and death. I want it all haha! So, if you’re a medieval fantasy buff like me, this is perfect for you.
