Personality:

Seeming to be trapped in a near perpetual state of optimism and good cheer, Ryan can find the positive in almost any situation, and very rarely expresses any sort of negativity about anyone or anything. It's just not his way. Naturally, this lends itself well to his bright sense of humor, as you'd be hard pressed to find a time when the young man doesn't have something goofy to say. This allows him to make friends quickly and easily - in his own mind, at least - and as far as he's concerned, once you're a friend, you're a friend for life.

...y'know, as long as you don't do something really bad. Like...punching a puppy, or something. Even a nice guy has his limits.

History:

In a world that's largely controlled by a singular force, it can be difficult to escape the shadow of those in charge, so it would be safe to say that much of Ryan's life has been formed and directed by the Machine Empire. He was born in one of the poorer districts out there in the world without many options for advancement or financial security, so it wasn't terribly long after he came of age that he enlisted in the service for the Empire - sure, they may have taken over the world, but it wasn't like anyone else was paying the bills these days - and began to show an aptitude as a soldier that eventually attracted the attention of his superiors. This would eventually lead to his role in the Power Rangers program once the need for new Rangers made itself known upon the return of Rita Repulsa.

He couldn't exactly say it was where he'd ever expected to wind up in life, but hey, everything happens for a reason, right?

Strengths:

Positivity: You can never keep a good Ranger down, and with that in mind, Ryan never gives up. Once he sets his mind to it, you're better off trying to move mountains with your bare hands than trying to dissuade him.

Humor: Call him a Class Clown if you must, but Ryan loves to goof off and joke around whenever possible. Whether it's a defense mechanism for himself or because he knows that sometimes someone has to at least try to keep things light to keep the pressure from mounting too much, you can count him to toss quips around as much as he does the bad guys.

Adaptability: Perhaps thanks to his upbeat nature, Ryan is good at rolling with the punches, so to speak. Whatever the situation, he learns fast, and during battle, excels at finding ways to turn them to his advantage.


Weaknesses:

Heedless:  While it may still be an admirable quality for a Ranger, Ryan's own bravery in the face of adversity can sometimes get him into trouble; landing him in hot water if he rushes in without a plan or any back-up. Proper supervision may be needed.

Down in the Dumps: Even the most positive person can be brought down sometimes, and if something manages to throw Ryan off his groove, he can become rather...grim. It'll take a lot from that point to get him back in gear, so get ready for a pity party as Ryan drags his feet for a while.

Selfless: Another admirable quality in most situations, Ryan can sometimes take this quality to the extreme, and put the needs of others so far ahead of his own that his own wellbeing drops almost completely off the radar.

Mannerisms:

Good Times: Ryan often smiles, and spends as much time as he can having fun and enjoying life.

Hobbies: In his downtime, Ryan will often play video games or can be seen reading...comics.

Energetic: Ryan's well never seems to come up empty, so it's rare for him to sit still for too long.
