Hero Name: Songbird
Legal Name: Melissa Gold
[Origin of Superpowers technological enhancement
Age: 34
Sexuality: Hetrosexual
Description (Appearance):
5`5, Green eyes, long red hair with white streaks, 125lbs, smooth clear skin, Full lips with a very athletic body.

Powers:
“Solid Sound” constructs: Songbird’s harness allows her to amplify what remains of her previous vocal enhancements. Using technology taken from Klaw, the harness converts sound into a malleable form of energy that has physical form and mass, termed "solid sound.” Her most common use of them is to create wings that allow her to fly, and she usually remains airborne during combat, taking advantage of the greater maneuverability it affords her. Melissa also can create protective shields, force bubbles (including the ability to lift and carry about 10 tons of weight), and various simple shapes. She shapes and animates these by mental command and they only remain in existence for as long as she wills them to.

Sonic scream: Songbird can project a sonic blast capable of cracking steel.

Disorient: Can disorient those around her by scrambling their inner ears.

Subsonic suggestion: Songbird can influence others through sub-vocal (below the level of conscious human hearing) sonics; this is more of a subtle "nudge" or subconscious suggestion rather than outright mind control.

Echolocation: Can project active sonar beams to detect/target individuals and navigate during periods of darkness or low visibility. She can maneuver with great precision even in a densely crowded environment such as Manhattan.

Enhanced strength and stamina: Melissa retains some of the physical enhancements from her time as a Grappler. These put her at the top end of human endurance, athleticism, and physical strength.

Special Skills and Other:

Retains some of the combat skills as a former wrestler.

Equipment:

Sonic harness

History:

Melissa Gold was a troubled runaway from an alcoholic father and incarcerated mother. In order to survive on the streets, Melissa developed a hard edge to her personality, referring to herself as “Mimi". She was eventually imprisoned, where she met Poundcakes, a female wrestler who invited her to join the Grapplers under the name Screaming Mimi, alongside Titania and Letha.

The Grapplers became renowned for their colorful personalities and ringside antics, but the wrestling federation denied them the opportunity to make the amount of money their male counterparts made. Instead, the group agreed to earn supplementary income by performing a covert operation for the Roxxon Oil Company. Roxxon gave the Grapplers special paraphernalia to assist them in their mission; Mimi received an apparatus that converted her voice to high-frequency sonics for various effects. The Grapplers tested these powers by fighting Thundra in a wrestling ring. On their mission, Thundra led them into Project Pegasus to smuggle in the Nth Projector for Roxxon. The mission failed when they were defeated by the heroes Quasar and Giant-Man. The Grapplers were tried and jailed for their misdeeds. When the Grapplers were finally paroled, they discovered that the women's wrestling movement had lost its momentum without them, so they continued to perform crimes to support themselves and working as professional criminals. Later, the Grapplers set their sights on a women's division of the superpowered Unlimited Class Wrestling Federation. Their manager, Auntie Freeze, arranged for the women to augment their natural abilities with artificial powers created by the agency Power Broker, Inc. While the other Grapplers received superhuman strength, Mimi instead had her vocal enhancements internalized as a throat implant.

Mimi was later contacted by the criminal Baron Helmut Zemo to join his version of the Masters of Evil where she formed a romantic and criminal partnership with the similarly empowered Angar the Screamer. Angar was eventually mortally wounded by a gunshot during a robbery attempt that went sour and died in Mimi's arms after they escaped. Mad with grief, Mimi screamed, burning out her power. Immediately afterward, she was contacted by Baron Zemo once more, and she accepted his offer to join a formative Masters of Evil. Zemo allowed Mimi to be nursed back to health, and his accomplice, the Fixer, gave her new powers via a voice-augmenting harness and high-tech implants in her neck based on technology from the villain Klaw.

With her newly transformed powers, she resumed the use of her given name Melissa and adopted the identity of Songbird as a member of the Thunderbolts, a new Masters of Evil group posing as superheroes to win the world's trust while secretly plotting world conquest under Zemo's direction. However, Melissa and most of the other Thunderbolts grew to like their heroic roles. In particular, Melissa began to truly grow into her own. Ultimately, the Thunderbolts turned against Zemo, foiling his attempt at world domination and rescuing the Avengers in the process.

Seeing the potential within her, Captain America offered Mellissa a place in the Avengers, which she gracefully accepted. It didn’t take long for Melissa to fully abandon Zemo and what was left of her criminal past. She is now is a core member of the Avengers. Melissa lives in Stark Tower, and when she is not off on missions or training, Melissa is taking classes at Empire University in criminology.

ICEMAN

Character Name: Ice Man
Real Name: Robert "Bobby" Drake
Age: 23, Birthday the 1st of March
Orientation: Homosexual
Height: 6' 2"
Weight: 165 lbs
Affiliation: X-Men,(formerly),  Champions (formerly), Avengers (Currently), The Twelve (formerly), Secret Defenders (formerly), Jean-Grey Schoo (formerly).

History:

Robert "Bobby" Louis Drake was born in Floral Park, Long Island, New York to Louis Robert Drake and Madeline Beatrice Bass-Drake. Bobby is Jewish on his mother's side and Irish Catholic on his father's. Bobby first discovered his mutant abilities at a young age when he found himself unable to stop feeling cold and shivering. A school bully named Rocky Beasely had convinced his gang to attack Bobby and Judy Harmon, his girlfriend at the time. Bobby panicked and encased Rocky in ice, saving Judy, but revealing his abilities to his peers. Believing Bobby to be a dangerous mutant, the people of his town, Fort Washington, organized a lynch mob. The mob broke into the Drake household and overpowered them. The local sheriff noticed that things were getting out of hand and took Bobby into custody for his own protection. The story made its way to Professor Charles Xavier, founder of the X-Men.

Xavier sent Scott Summers (Cyclops) to recruit Bobby. After Bobby turned him down, the two mutants got into a brief scuffle before the mob caught up with them. The mob was stringing Scott and Bobby up to be hanged when Professor X used his telepathic abilities to erase their memories. Grateful for saving his life and yearning to be like Scott, Bobby enrolled in Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters and become the second member of the X-Men. There, the X-Men were tutored by Professor X and trained in the use of their powers in the Danger Room. As 'Iceman', Bobby learned to control his abilities in order to protect a world that feared and hated him for being different alongside Cyclops, Angel, Beast, and Marvel Girl.

Iceman quickly befriended Beast, however, he remained self-conscious about being the youngest member of the group. Still, his lighthearted approach to disaster often eased tension among his teammates. Bobby's rudimentary control of his abilities caused his appearance to be snowman-like, rather than the almost transparent ice version of his later years. Alongside the X-Men, he battled many foes including Magneto and the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. In time, Bobby learned to cover himself in ice instead of his original snowman appearance. During this time, Bobby teamed up with the Human Torch to defeat the modern-day pirate Captain Barracuda. Bobby started dating the waitress Zelda, often going on double dates with Beast and his girlfriend, Vera Cantor. Bobby and Iceman did not reveal their superhero identities to their dates. During one date, Iceman and the Beast got into a brawl with the Maha Yogi. When the X-Men joined together against Mesmero and a robot Magneto, Bobby developed a brief romantic relationship with the mutant Lorna Dane which turned into a love triangle when Scott's brother, Alex Summers joined the team as 'Havok'. The triangle ended badly for Bobby when Lorna eventually decided that her heart belonged to Havok.

After it was revealed that Professor Xavier lied to his students, having faked his death, Bobby angrily quit the team. After hearing his former teammates were in trouble, Bobby traveled to the Savage Land where he stumbled into a conflict between Sauron and Magneto. Sauron erased Bobby's memories of the encounter. Bobby returned to the X-Men shortly after. After witnessing the kidnapping of Gwen Stacy, Bobby briefly battled Spider-Man until they realized it was a misunderstanding. The duo rescued Robbie Robertson from corrupt politician, Sam Bullit. Later, Bobby was attacked by the Human Torch who was convinced he had been attacked earlier by Bobby. After the other X-Men verified Bobby's innocence, the duo decided to track-down the villain responsible and battled Equinox. Bobby was among the original X-Men captured by Krakoa, which led to the formation of a new incarnation of X-Men. Bobby decided not to remain on the second generation of the team and left along with all of the original members except for Cyclops.

Bobby went-off to college at UCLA, where he eventually earned his CPA accreditation. Bobby and Warren Worthington III were attacked by harpies who were trying to locate Venus. The two young heroes were joined by Ghost Rider, Black Widow, and Hercules. After defeating Pluto, they decided to stick together as a team: self-styled "Champions of Los Angeles".

Warren's wealth bankrolled the group and they bought a surplus of Avengers' Quinjets, the "Champjet", for team usage. The Champions battled Edward Lansing and his mutates Griffin, Titanium Man and Crimson Dynamo[, Stilt-Man, Warlord Kaa, the Stranger, Kamo Tharnn, and Swarm. Bobby developed strong feelings for Angel. Unfortunately, Warren didn't share those feelings.

The group was volatile and disbanded after a brief stint. After the team disbanded, Bobby visited his former opponent Rampage in the hospital and was brought under his mental control. Bobby began wearing the armor of Rampage and helped him to escape. Spider-Man arrived to cover the story of the Champions disbanding, and Bobby battled both him and Angel. Spider-Man was able to bring Bobby to his senses.

Later, Professor X called on Iceman to help in the rescue of the friends and family of the X-Men from Arcade's henchman Miss Locke. Bobby was reunited with Polaris and it was during this mission that Iceman was able to finally accept her decision, though the wound would seem to always remain sore. Bobby teamed-up with the Thing and Giant-Man to defeat the Circus of Crime and save Alicia Masters. Later, Bobby was reunited with Angel and Beast after he and a group of heroes were manipulated to join the Avengers. Bobby felt compelled to display his skill by battling Moon Knight. When it was revealed that Moondragon was manipulating them to strengthen the Avengers, Bobby returned to college. On another summer break, Bobby visited his former teammate and best friend, Hank, and briefly became associated with the Defenders. After the founding Defenders (Dr. Strange, Prince Namor, the Hulk, and the Silver Surfer) were convinced to leave the team, Iceman played a pivotal role alongside Hank and Angel in the organization and cohesion of the team. Bobby eventully came out to his fellow X-men who supported him, his other hero freinds and altestly his aprents who did NOT support him. He recently joined the Avengers for been first a openly mutant memebr but also openly Homsoexual which he feels is important too.

Bobby has trained with multiple hand to hand experts such as Black Widow, and Hercules making him a fair fighter without his powers.

Weaknesses: When there is no moisture near him, Bobby cannot use his powers. While he is a fair hand to hand fighter he is not the best and can be beaten.
Personality: While Bobby is brave and willing to own up to his own mistakes he is also transparent like the ice he makes. He wears his heart on his sleeve and is brutally honest with his thoughts and views. Bobby is also viewed as childish in many peoples eyes.
Equipment: Whatever the X-men are using for whatever mission they are going on. Bobby can usually make whatever he needs.
Known Enemies: Mr Sinister, Apocalypse, Pyro.
