*~Welcome to my Spooky House~*
Come one, Come all! Please take your shoes off, grab a cup of coco, and make yourself comfortable! We're in for a wild ride!
Please keep the comments clear, I will update posts as I go! I am looking for Grim, Dark, Gritty, and fun! If you see something you like, just shoot me a message!

Who am I?
I'm Oli! I'm 31 years old and live on the West-Coast of Canada. I work a full-time 9-5, and like to spend my free time hanging out with my pets, doing something artsy, or relaxing with a good TV show or book. I've been Role-Playing for 15 years, in various formats, and am looking to dip my feet into a few longer term stories. I am typically interested in detail focus, moody stories with various levels of fantasy and magical qualities to them. I love darker and more 'psychological' themes the most, but not every story has to be like one of the Saw movies. I'm very flexible and willing to meet my partners in the middle. Writing, especially with someone else, is supposed to be fun and something to look forward to, not a chore! :)

Expectations
I'm pretty flexible and very willing to work with people to find a system that works with both/all of us! That being said, these are a few things I think are pretty typical and good to mention! But again, feel free to just shoot me a message if you have questions.

1. Be flexible- I don't want to follow a script! I want us both to have input and have the ability to share ideas.
2. Be honest- If you aren't having fun, if you have too much to do, etc, just let me know! I do my best to be understanding and I know we're all human! (or... ghosts!)
3. Be relatively responsive- I do my best to post at least once a day, but I think a more reasonable amount is maybe 2-4 times a week. Again, I'm flexible, but once a week is a bit too slow for my liking. But this does depend on your writing style. If I get a chapter of a novel back once a week, I can be totally happy with that!
4. Quantity- I can be a bit wordy and descriptive in my posts, and like to do lots of world building and character development. I don't want just straight dialog, or 2-3 paragraphs of... fluff. I need some meat and potatoes to really have fun!
5. Smut-to-story- (I see a lot of people write this one, so I'll include it!) It totally depends on the prompt! But I need the smut to be involved IN the story, not just random boning just to bone, so to speak. But some of my ideas involve succubi and incubi, so I imagine those sorts of stories will involve a bit more smut, etc.

The O/Os
I do have my list filled out, at least with the basics, but at the end of the day, as always, I'm pretty flexible. My off's are pretty much always my off's but, in some specific cases, I don't mind if those things come up, I don't don't want them to be a main focus or recurring theme. There are somethings I'd rather not come up, but feel free to run an idea by me and we'll see what we can figure out.

Who Do I play?
I have the most experience playing 'strong' female characters, but I've recently had an urge to play male characters and supernatural beings! Basically, I'm willing to play most roles! I don't really have any interest in playing canon characters, Furries, or Celebrities. I will eventually add a list of my OC's that I enjoy playing or wouldn't mind involving in a story, but for now, I usually just make things up as I go. I am willing to 'fill a role', as long as I still have say in what the character is like.

Plots and OC's

I don't have a lot of OC's but I'll toss in the few I've got here in case there is an interest! My plots are pretty flexible and totally able to be mixed together or played in a different world, etc. Just ask. :) Unless I specifically point out that I'd rather a specific role, I'm okay with playing any/all, and genders don't matter to me!

The Accidental Pet Succubus
The life of a Demon should be easy, right? Disguise yourself as a mortal, spend a day amidst the unsuspecting humans, have a few drinks, get a bite to eat, and bed by midnight. But what do you do when your unsuspecting target doesn't quite die like he's supposed to... On the anniversary of her first trip to earth, *Succubus* returns to her very first hunting ground. She's made many stops along the way, and has grown quite a name for herself in the underworld. Eyes on the prize, she stalks around the bar full of unsuspecting college students. To her surprise, that's when she notices *Human*, her very first. But there's no possible way they could be standing there... She drained the life from them herself! Now she has a new task at hand... Figure out who the hell this human is.

Lots of ways for this one to go. I half played it out before where the human was turned into a Demon Hunter by whatever the succubus had done, and now that the two are reunited, they realize the Human actually has control over the Succubus and uses her to hunt others. I imagine there being lots of tension initially, but her eventually growing possessive over him, not necessarily affectionate though, because I don't fully want her to lose that 'demonic' feeling. Smut is not a requirement, but it is preferred since Sex Demon!  Maybe she has to get information out of people to help him in more useful ways. Many potentials. If possible, I would love to also have a side-plot included of the succubus in Hell, with the other demons, and how she's slowly losing her ability to be down there for long, and being forced into the human world when the Human calls her. Or potentially she has another Demon Master in hell who is working tirelessly to try and break the bond.

A whole New World
When your family of hard-working, honest folk, figures out your dark secret, what options do you have? Kill them? Try to change? Run? A two days walk to the next city nearly takes you out, but somehow you make it. Weak, and shivering, you see the glow from the towns front gate, just as the sun is about to disappear for the evening. You rush to the first guard you can find, but take a moment to consider your words carefully....

"Excuse me," You call out. A middle-aged man in plate armour turns to acknowledge you with a brief nod. "Do you allow... Magic here?"

More of a medieval setting in mind, I imagine a low-fantasy world, where the character discovers she is a witch/summoner/mage, whatever. She flees her family to find refuse in a town that is more tolerant. How tolerant is up to us! But the idea is that she is trying to find people like her, to help her, and to take her under their wing. This can go a number of different ways, but I like the idea of it going a bit sour for her. Maybe the Teacher she finds has less than savory methods of study. Or maybe they only partake in blood magic! She is so full of light and so ready to learn, that she might be willing to do whatever it takes to learn to wield magic correctly... Something dark and fun. :)

The one that Got Away
It's so cliche, it's almost hard to watch... But you can't take your eyes away. She was beautiful, and he was broken. She didn't know it, but she would be the one to fix it. The one to heal his heart, wipe his tears, and bear his burdens. Everyone thought that this was surely a miracle, sent to bless their town and their Sheriff. It's not every day that a kind, bright-eyed young woman drops on your doorstep and makes your dreams come true. Some said it was too good to come true!

And, of course, it was.

It took him years to track her down. He got close, of course. Oh did he... and she knew. She'd leave him notes, always punctuated with a red lipstick stained signature. Wish you were here, she'd taunted, over and over. But now, he had her. And alls he had to do was figure out what to do with her.

My thoughts originally was for her to swoop in, make the guy fall in love with her, and maybe fake her own death to get out of it. But something backfires and he finds out, and spends the rest of his days trying to make her pay. This can honestly take place in ANY setting, it was just a Western when I sort of thought of it. I want it to be very teasing and slow burn, and they can even have a few encounters where it's them vs a common enemy, and they have to work together whether they like it or not.

How to get your Wings
Every Angel needs to get their wings somehow. Some serve their own Holy community as needed, others help guide way-ward souls to where they belong, and the very brave get sent to Earth. But what they don’t tell you is about all of the different temptations a Human life can offer you. Some see it as work of the Devil, trying to steal you to do his own bidding. But others might see it as… an Alternative path. Whatever your choice may be, you and your Humans life will be confronted and tested at every turn as you work together toward your goal.

More vague than most. I just like the idea of an Angel having to work with a Human for some reason or another. Maybe the Human is suicidal and needs help finding their way. Or it can be more fantastical and the Human is a Demon Hunter, etc. Either way, I want the Angel and Human to not always see eye to eye- maybe the Angel is extremely on the Lawful Good path, but the human is a little more Chaotic Neutral, etc. Lots of wiggle room!

Community College is boring as Hell...
Every 1,000 years, something spectacular happens among the ghoulish and the damned. The Devil himself, after so many years of watching his minions and servants run amok just… needs a freaking break! The Big Guy upstairs could use a game of golf, too, after all, but who cares about those hoity-toity angels! As the Lords of Good and Evil shake hands, time across the Earth ticks to a stop, and there is a strong moment of silence across the realm. If you’re new here, you might think this would be the perfect time to wreak havoc across the planes, with no Moral Compass’ to lead you right or wrong. But you would be sorely mistaken. While they click glasses and share a chuckle over their drastically different issues, you’ll be learning how to be the best Ghoul, Goblin, Gremlin, or whatever the hell you call yourself, that you can be!

Welcome to your first day of Monster School. Class is officially in session.

Totally loosely based off “Monster Prom” the game, which I am currently playing through again! I adore it. I’d like to loosely stick to that in that every character in the school is some sort of monster, but the events don’t have to revolve around Prom or anything like that. We can either pick two characters and have a story between them or jump around between couples, etc. I would like things to be a little more violent and dark- as we are playing demons in hell after all- but there can be some goofy things going on for sure. It doesn’t have to be all angst all the time.

Established Universes, Themes and Fandoms
Now, as I mentioned, I don't like playing cannon stories or cannon characters, usually. But that being said, there are some universes that I adore and would love to explore more.
And if you like something that's similar to one of these, but not mentioned, I'd be happy to take a look!
World of Warcraft
Most of my experience in roleplaying stems from World of Warcraft. I am not 100% up to date on the most recent storylines- I stopped playing the game about a year ago- but I absolutely love the universe and how immersive the zones and locations can be. I have a serious weak spot for zones like Duskwood, Druskvar and the Worgen city. Dark, rainy, gloomy, and a bit mysterious! But seriously, if you want to keep a story in Azeroth, I'd be totally down.
Skyrim/Marrowind/D&D/Pathfinder
Very similar to WoW, but a bit more on the low-magic side of things, I adore Skyrim and Marrowind, and find them pretty similar to the Pathfinder campaigns I have experience with. I love that medieval, us against the enemy but also against the elements type of feeling. Snowy mountains, steep cliff faces, and undiscovered caves.
Firefly/Sci-Fi
I have not a lot of experience playing a Sci-Fi story myself, but I absolutely love Firefly. I love that Space Cowboy aesthetic and have a serious crush on Mal. While I don't want to be ON the firefly, I wouldn't mind playing in the universe, or making something similar.
Dark/Twisted Fairy Tales
I really love the idea of dark fairytales. Spins on the classics with a less than happy ever after. For these, honestly, the more fucked up the better. I love to explore the brain and see where this can lead us.
Dystopian or Apocalyptic/Borderlands/The Walking Dead
Who doesn't love it when humanity is almost wiped out and has to start over. I love a good Outlaw/Bandit character, and I really enjoy having to run and hide and be smart about my resources. Give me No Rules and Lawless Lands.
Lost/Stuck on an Island
I have been re-watching Lost recently and I am falling in love with it’s characters all over again! I’m not looking to play someone in the show or play out the exact same plot, I just like the idea of many a group or a pair of strangers in the ultimate testing situation. To test their limits, beliefs, and ideas. If you’re familiar with the show, I am especially fond of Sawyer/Kate story and all of their various ups and downs. I like the idea of characters being given the chance to start over, and slowly figuring out if they are going to change or slowly revert back to their old ways and ideas.
A.I. / Robot Companion / Detroit Become Human
Although I haven’t played it myself, I did watch through a lot of playthroughs of Detroit Become Human, and have always been a fan of the idea of iRobot worlds and things like that. Nothing in particular in mind but I would like it to be a bit more on the dark side.
