Revamp!

We have decided that this game needs a bit of a sprucing up. So, a few things are changing here, and we'd love to have new players join us. This game is becoming more sandbox and less GM led. We will still have some GM events, but they will all be optional. If you want to make a character or staff member from Hogwarts, Beauxbatons or Durmstrang, you're more than welcome to. This game does not require characters to participate in the Triwizard tournament.

As of May 1st (real time), we are moving into November (in game). We're always still accepting characters and players, so please join us and make your Harry Potter inspired dreams come to fruition!

Remember that Wizard in the movies that would hang out in the Leaky Cauldron and use magic to stir his coffee without a wand, while reading about cosmology and theoretical astrophysics? Is anything known about that Wizard?

In defense of my idea he is known as "The Wizard in the Leaky Cauldron that in 1993 was seen reading the Muggle book A Brief History of Time by Stephen W. Hawking while using Wandless Magic to Stir His Coffee". That's it.

Well, he isn't a strictly canon character in the sense that he's someone who we can trace back through the books. Except for this very brief mention of him, of course. But, I looked him up further and the actor who portrays this character is named Ian Brown and he's 56 years old in RL. So, if you were wanting to use him in this game, he wouldn't be admitted into Hogwarts as a student. He would need to be a member of the staff/faculty. And if you wanted to make a reference to any of the canon characters, we'd just ask that you notify us GM's so we can make sure it's fitting for the game.
