World-creating dreamers, detail-loving storytellers and compassionate Elliquiy members

I’m in search of a companion for a roleplay in a world like in the 2011 movie “In Time” (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/In_Time) where time is the new currency and bound to the right to live.

General Setting

The "rich" have all opportunities to suppress the "poor". Because of over population everybody is born with a limited lifetime. If the person doesn't work and gains new "time" they will die when their ticking lifetime, shown by numbers on their wrist, runs out. Underaged and young have no running clock, but by becoming 25 the clock starts with a gifted year. And then you have to gain your own lifetime and work for your life.

Rich people in the upper 3 zones can by law and under some conditions take (and of course afford) slaves for anything they wish.


Lot of people from the lower to the most low timezones end up in an early dead (because they can't afford their life with all the costs) or in slavery, where they will be totally under the grace of their masters who will give them time just to live for a few hours more again and again.


In our story mc 'buys' yc as a personal slave and the relationship could grow into a love interest.




The condition: Participation in the 'Games'
By law the bottom three time zone slaves only receive a permit to be sold into the higher (top 3) time zones if they participate to a brutal, perverted game as enjoyment for the richest. Kind of roman events in the colosseum where slaves will be publicly humilated and tortured in kind of a challenge. They have to endure painful treatments just for fun of the richest who can bet, which one will last longest.


The monthly games will use participants which are chosen by a lottery. There are only a few loopholes for the owners to avoid having their slaves to participate in the torture-games.

my character

MC is a successful business man or woman in the top 3 time zone. He/she lives alone, is independent, cultural and sporty and has a deliberate personality. He / she  buys a slave for the first time and expects submission, but with good behaviour the 'slave' will have a very pleasant life. That's the plan. But maybe life has another and feelings grow unexpectedly.

your character

YC is a woman from the lowest timezone and is desperate because she has lost her job and opportunity to live further more. Her gifted lifetime after she went 25 is nearly used up. She could go and prostitute herself here in the slums or answer on one of those special offers to live as a sex-slave for a rich man.

Could a growing love between her and her new owner save her from the torture-game-lottery?
