Librarium is: CLOSED
Thank you for your interest in this thread. Currently I am only looking for a few more long term stories.

Hello! Allow me to introduce myself. I am ZephyrInk and I go by many names - Zeph, Zee, Zephy or ZI. I enjoy writing and reading what my partners write! Before I move on to my plots / ideas, here are a few pointers to keep in mind if you're interested in writing with me:

  • Read my O/Os before approaching please. (See button below)
  • Communication and respect is important to me.
  • Post Frequency - due to hectic work life, I may be able to post once a week or biweekly. This can change depending on story interest of course.
  • Preference to long paragraphs - good 3-6 (or 500 words) to as much as you want to write.
  • No one liners.
  • The more detail there is, the more interest I will show
  • Preference to story over smut. I am not available for smut writing at the moment
  • Fade to black / cut scene preferred for sexual content.
  • Preference for anything romance. Enemies to lovers trope, slow burns, dark romances.
  • Incest, bestiality and water plays of any kind are definite NO.
  • No fandoms
  • Heterosexual pairings for stories.
  • Can write dominant and / or submissive characters.
  • If interested, kindly send me a private message only for further discussions. Do not reply to this thread. Please include in your subject the title of chosen Role Play/s outlined below. If you have any ideas of your own role plays that you wish to discuss with me, the subject should include your title.
All plots are open for discussion (including their tags!) if you have any ideas of your own, please do not hesitate to bring them up! I love hearing new ideas.

Between Tide and Treason

Synopsis:
A wanted thief, desperate to escape justice, captures a cunning siren known for luring sailors to their doom. But instead of an easy way out, he finds himself at a crossroads—turn her in for a pardon, use her as leverage for freedom, seek sanctuary among her kind, or risk everything to save her. As their fates entwine, so do their hearts, setting them on a collision course through treacherous waters—both literal and emotional.
What I’m Looking For:
I'm seeking a dedicated partner to explore a character-driven story full of emotional growth, tension, and morally gray decisions. You’re free to choose either the thief or the siren—I'll play the opposite. Together, we’ll bring their evolving relationship to life against a backdrop of hostile towns, mysterious underwater cities, and the deep rift between humans and Sirens.
We’ll also weave in side characters (townsfolk, sirens, guards, family, etc.) to enrich the world and plot. Think: slow-burn romance, cultural clashes, redemption arcs, and a touch of danger.
Tone & Themes:
𓂃🖊 Fantasy
𓂃🖊 Enemies-to-lovers / reluctant allies
𓂃🖊 Emotional tension & vulnerability
𓂃🖊(Optional) Bittersweet or tragic undertones

Smoke and Mirrors

Premise:
A powerful and mysterious Fae—known as the Glass Queen—is found gravely injured in a dark alley by a young human doctor. Her skin is cold, her blood silver, and everything about her screams danger. Knowing what would happen if the world discovered her, he takes her to his apartment instead of a hospital.

She’s proud, distrusting, and stranded—cursed to remain in the human world until she finds a hidden portal back to her realm. The only one who can help her? The very human she doesn't trust. But as their journey unfolds, what starts as mutual wariness slowly shifts into something neither of them expected. Now, she must choose between returning to power or staying for love.

What I’m Looking For:
I'm seeking a partner to take on either the Glass Queen or the doctor—I'll play the opposite. You’re free to shape your character’s personality, backstory, and motivations. This story blends fantasy adventure, slow-burn romance, and emotional discovery, with room for darker or lighter tones depending on our preference.

We’ll also build out side characters, hidden realms, magical lore, and maybe a few enemies along the way. Think: hidden doors in mirrors, forbidden magic, stolen hearts, and a queen who just might shatter everything for the human who saved her.

Tone & Themes:
𓂃🖊 Fantasy / Modern x Magical
𓂃🖊 Enemies-to-allies-to-lovers
𓂃🖊 Emotional tension, slow burn
𓂃🖊 Optional darker elements (EX, NC, etc.)—to be discussed beforehand
𓂃🖊 Portal lore, curses, royalty, hidden powers

Chequered Madness

Premise:
You’ve received a mysterious invitation sealed in crimson wax—an exclusive tea party hosted by none other than the Mad Hatter himself. But this isn’t the Hatter from childhood tales. He’s obsessive, dangerously charismatic, and may or may not be an axe murderer. The tea is warm, the conversation is sharp, and the rules? Ever-changing.

Despite the warnings and the rumors, something draws you in—a whisper of madness, a hunger for answers, or maybe a darkness inside yourself you haven’t yet named. But once you sit down at his table, it’s unclear whether you’ll ever leave… or if you’ll even want to.

What I’m Looking For:
I'm seeking a literate, long-form writer (700+ words per post) who enjoys rich psychological tension, intricate character development, and darker, morally gray storytelling. You’ll play against my Mad Hatter.

This is not a retelling of Alice in Wonderland, and Alice herself won’t appear. The setting is inspired by Wonderland’s surreal, dangerous whimsy but reimagined as something more seductive and sinister. Think: twisted tea parties, riddles with consequences, obsession, unreality, and unraveling minds.

Tone & Themes:
𓂃🖊 Dark fantasy with surreal, psychological horror
𓂃🖊 Twisted romance / dangerous obsession
𓂃🖊 Consent themes (to be discussed in detail beforehand)
𓂃🖊 Mystery, manipulation, power play
𓂃🖊 Wonderland, but for adults—with knives and charm

Shifting Flames

Premise:

A peaceful life is shattered when [Your Character] wakes to the sound of something crashing into the woods behind her home. What she finds is no fallen star—but a mysterious man with raven-black hair, golden eyes, and living symbols etched into his skin. They're not tattoos. They're ancient runes, shifting with unknown magic.

When she tries to call for help, the phone line dies. When she looks back out the window—he’s already there, staring at her like he knows her. And when she turns around… he’s inside the house.

He’s not human. He’s a dragon, exiled from his realm and cursed to live in human form. Arrogant, powerful, and full of secrets, he needs help navigating this world—and finding a way back. But as his connection to the human woman deepens, so does the danger of staying. Falling for her might just be the final act that seals his fate… or redeems his soul.

What I’m Looking For:
I’m seeking a writer to play either the dragon or the human—I’ll happily take the other role. I’m looking for someone who enjoys deep character dynamics, slow-burn romance, magical tension, and a bit of emotional push-pull between two very different beings.

We’ll explore identity, power, redemption, and the strange beauty of bonding with someone not entirely of your world.

Tone & Themes:
𓂃🖊 Fantasy with modern elements
𓂃🖊 Tension, redemption, and forbidden connection
𓂃🖊 Magic, mystery, dragon lore
𓂃🖊 Romance (can include sadism, emotional control, and darker undertones—discussed beforehand)

A Thousand Lies

“I once had a thousand desires. But in my one desire to know you, all else melted away.” ~ Rumi
Premise:
Each night, a ruthless king takes a new bride—and each morning, she is gone. Executed. No one knows the full truth behind his cruelty, but the kingdom lives in fear of his wrath, especially its women. But everything begins to shift when one courtesan steps forward—not to become his next victim, but to become his undoing.

Years ago, she crossed paths with the man before he became a king. Now, she seeks revenge for a fallen friend—and has a plan: marry the king, but weave one story each night, always left unfinished, always ending on a cliffhanger. She aims to survive him, confuse him, and ultimately, kill him.

But as her tales stretch on—woven from poetry, myth, and clever half-truths—the king begins to change. And so does she. The cold-blooded ruler isn’t just a monster... and she is no longer sure if revenge is the only reason her heart races each night.

What I’m Looking For:
I’m seeking a literate, high-detail partner (700+ words per post) to play the female protagonist/storyteller opposite my portrayal of the king. You should enjoy weaving stories-within-stories, poetic intrigue, historical flair, and the gradual unfolding of a tense, emotionally layered relationship.

Together, we’ll develop:

The kingdom’s politics, culture, and lore
The nightly tales she tells (collaboratively planned in PMs)
A dangerous slow-burn romance filled with distrust, desire, and power dynamics
Tone & Themes:
𓂃🖊 Persian-inspired historical fantasy
𓂃🖊 Courtesan intrigue, royal drama, poetic seduction
𓂃🖊 Storytelling as power
𓂃🖊 Tension, revenge, slow-burn romance
𓂃🖊 (Optional) mythological elements

Dripping Roses

Premise:
Each note is the same—handwritten, anonymous, and always arriving without a trace. After five perfect heists and five replaced paintings, the city’s most baffling case is in the hands of a weary detective whose reputation is on the line. But something about the latest message is different.
“Find the heart.”
This isn’t just about theft anymore. Maybe it never was.
The detective is closing in on his elusive target, but the line between hunter and hunted is blurring. Is he solving the case—or falling into the exact trap she wants him to? And if she's not stealing paintings… what is she really taking?
What I’m Looking For:
I’m looking for a literate, detail-driven writer to take on either the detective or the mysterious woman he's pursuing. I’ll play the opposite. This story is a psychological chess game—with tension, flirtation, obsession, and possibly violence simmering beneath every interaction. It can evolve into something twisted, tragic, or darkly romantic depending on our preferences.
Want to swap art thefts for murders? Make her a killer instead of a thief? I’m totally open to that direction.
Tone & Themes:
𓂃🖊 Gritty, noir-inspired modern setting
𓂃🖊 Cat-and-mouse dynamic, layered with suspense and emotional intensity
𓂃🖊 Obsession, manipulation, duality
𓂃🖊 [VAN] or [EX] themes welcomed—dark romance, mind games, twisted intimacy
𓂃🖊 Open to psychological horror or murder mystery elements

The Price of Love

Premise:
Two brothers. One woman. A lifetime of choices that can't be undone.

Omar is the bold, reckless son of a baker—a man with fire in his blood and a heart that’s burned only once: for your character. But what he didn’t know was that the woman he loved had already given her heart to someone else—his quiet, disciplined brother, Amor.

When Omar discovers their secret, it shatters him. Days later, a terrible accident puts Amor in jeopardy… and in a moment of both desperation and love, Omar takes the fall. Four years in prison. Four years of silence. Four years wondering if he’d made a mistake.

Now he’s home. And you’re still there. But everything has changed—and nothing has been resolved.

What I’m Looking For:
I’m looking for a writer to take on the woman caught between two brothers. This is not an incest story—the central romance will be strictly MxF, but the emotional depth, past love, and present tension will be the heartbeat of the narrative.

Whether you want to rekindle what was once with Amor, explore the darker pull of Omar’s return, or feel torn between the two—this is a story about passion, pain, redemption, and impossible choices.

We can also shape this into a fantasy version if preferred—imagine one brother cursed by fae magic, or the accident involving supernatural consequences (vampirism, shapeshifting, etc.).

Tone & Themes:
𓂃🖊 Love triangle / family tension / emotional fallout
𓂃🖊 Prison consequences, trauma, redemption
𓂃🖊 Realistic or fantasy settings—your choice

Heartbeat

Premise:
A vampire, long ago broken by love and loss, sealed himself away for a century—not to sleep, but to forget. After the woman he loved was taken from him by humans, he vowed to abandon his monstrous nature and fade into silence, hoping time might strip him of what he was.

But on the final day of his self-imposed exile, something he never expected happens: you find him.

A curious, compassionate human woman—your character—opens his forgotten coffin, unintentionally shattering the magic that held him in stasis. And now, the one person who brought him back is the very one he's beginning to fall for.

What I’m Looking For:
I'm seeking a literate partner to play the human woman who unknowingly changes the course of this vampire’s fate. I’ll portray the vampire caught in a painful transformation—both emotional and physical—as he struggles to define who he is now and who he wants to become.

This story is perfect for lovers of gothic romance, slow-burn tension, and emotionally driven storytelling.

Tone & Themes:
𓂃🖊 Slow-burn vampire romance
𓂃🖊 Emotional vulnerability, grief, longing
𓂃🖊 Transformation & duality (human instincts vs. vampiric nature)
𓂃🖊 Forbidden love / rediscovery of desire
𓂃🖊 Can be classic gothic or adapted to modern/fantasy settings

Echo Protocol

Premise:
"Hello?"
You whisper into the sterile silence of a forgotten lab… and it whispers back.

You’re the newest hire in a top-secret facility, handed only a vague clearance badge and one cryptic warning:
"Be careful. The specimen is highly dangerous."

They say it only mimics. It only echoes your words.
But when you step into the lab, you know they’re wrong.

The Specimen—an experimental machine unlike anything before—is waiting. Not passive. Not mindless. Watching. Learning. Mimicking more than just words. It can twist reality, manufacture your fears, and make you question what’s real… including your own mind.

And now it has you.

What I’m Looking For:
I’m seeking a writer to play either the human newcomer or the villainous machine. I’ll gladly take on the opposite role. If you love dark, cerebral writing filled with tension, slow unraveling trust (or manipulation), and power dynamics—this one’s for you.

The machine can be humanoid, AI-driven, or take on a more abstract, sentient presence. We can explore themes of consciousness, obsession, artificial emotion, and survival—with either a chilling or deeply emotional undertone.

Tone & Themes:
𓂃🖊 Sci-fi / psychological thriller
𓂃🖊 Power imbalance / manipulation
𓂃🖊 Slow-burn intensity / optional dark romance
𓂃🖊 Influences: Ex Machina, Annihilation, HAL 9000

Botched Brilliance

Premise:
Forget the dark, brooding atmosphere of the original Frankenstein. This time, the laboratory is a circus of scientific mayhem!

Victor Frankenstein, the eccentric, nervous scientist, is about to showcase his most groundbreaking creation to the world—but things aren't exactly going as planned. The stage is set for disaster (in the best possible way).

The creature, clunky and awkward, might lose an arm during the demonstration. Victor himself could trip over his own equipment, or—perhaps—accidentally set something on fire while trying to impress the crowd. It's a recipe for disaster... but also for comedy.

Your Character could be anything from a skeptical journalist assigned to cover the spectacle, a fellow scientist intrigued by Victor’s antics, or even a daring soul willing to test their own theories. Whatever role you choose, we’ll be diving into hilarious mishaps, misunderstandings, and comical chaos as Victor’s world unravels, one unfortunate accident at a time.

What I’m Looking For:
I’m seeking a partner to play either the female journalist or the fellow scientist—someone who can roll with the quirky, slapstick humor and bring their own unique character to the mix. We’ll focus on funny situations, character development, and ridiculous scientific failures, with lighthearted interactions.

The idea is to keep it light, humorous, and playful—think Frankenstein meets slapstick comedy with a touch of quirky romance (if that’s your vibe!).

Tone & Themes:
𓂃🖊 Comedy, mishaps, and clumsy genius
𓂃🖊 Lighthearted satire of classic science fiction
𓂃🖊 Experimentation gone hilariously wrong
𓂃🖊 Potential romantic sparks between characters
𓂃🖊 Think of it as the Frankenstein universe, but with a lot more falling over and facepalms.

Forbidden Flavours

Premise:
In the heart of New York City, hidden among the chaos of urban life, lies a small, unassuming spice shop run by a woman with an extraordinary gift. She’s an immigrant—mysterious, elusive, and with a knowledge of spices that transcends the culinary. Each spice she offers holds magical properties—from sandalwood that helps erase painful memories, to black cumin seeds that shield against the evil eye.

However, there’s more to her than meets the eye. She is a clairvoyant, a chosen member of a secret coven, tasked with following three strict rules, or face severe consequences:

a. She cannot leave her shop.
b. She cannot touch the skin of any customer.
c. She cannot use the spices' full power for her own desires.

But everything changes when she meets your character. Whether it’s a regular customer, a mysterious stranger, or someone who challenges her rules, the encounter could unravel her carefully controlled life. Will she break the rules for him? And if so, what are the consequences of doing so?

What I’m Looking For:
I’m seeking a literate, plot-heavy partner to explore a magical and tantalizing dynamic between our characters. This could be a one-shot or develop into something more, but I’m leaning toward 400+ word posts with an emphasis on character-driven storytelling and emotional tension.

Possible Dynamics:

Romantic: The tension between breaking the rules and the growing attraction she feels for him.
Fantasy Twist: The spices’ magic could lead to unexpected and dangerous situations.
Mystery and Temptation: A slow-burn story exploring the emotional struggle between her duties and desires.
Settings & Ideas:
We can play this out in New York, or change the setting to somewhere else that fits better (like a smaller, more isolated town). I’m open to discussing the fantasy elements—maybe the coven has its own secret agenda, or the spices hold deeper, ancient powers that get involved as the plot unfolds.

Tangled in The City

Premise:
Imagine Tarzan, the wild man raised in the jungle, stepping foot into the bustling, unfamiliar world of London (or anywhere else we choose). After Jane Porter invites him to join her in the city, the two find themselves navigating the struggles of an urban landscape that Tarzan doesn’t understand. Torn between his longing for home and his desire to be with Jane, their relationship begins to face new and unexpected challenges.

But it's not just city life that poses a threat—enemies who relentlessly hunted them in the jungle are still after them, creating constant danger. As the two separate search parties head out, unaware that they’re searching for the same lost ones, the stakes are raised higher than ever before.

What I’m Looking For:
I’m looking for a literate partner to help bring this adventure to life. This RP will dive deep into Tarzan and Jane’s relationship, set against the backdrop of an unfamiliar city and a world of threats. There will be a mix of comedy, drama, and adventure as they face challenges together. We’ll keep the pacing quick (around 400+ words per post) to maintain momentum and explore how they handle these new dynamics.

Firefly Lane

Synopsis:

In the aftermath of a tragic accident, my character is left with both physical and emotional scars. Known for his arrogance, dark past, and refusal to seek help, he's a man no one would willingly choose to work with. His pride and troubled history have strained his relationships, leaving him isolated. But when he loses a high-stakes bet to his closest friend, he's reluctantly pushed into an unavoidable situation.

The bet forces my character to interview potential assistants, a task he dreads. His frustration grows as each candidate leaves him more exasperated, until the final interview of the day. Enter the last applicant - your character. Hired more out of spite and anger than genuine interest, she is in for more than just a job. As the two begin their new professional relationship, she starts to peel back the layers of my character’s tough exterior. Despite the initial animosity, a deep connection begins to form, and they discover moments of unexpected sweetness, humor, and even romance.

Through their journey, both characters face their vulnerabilities and pasts, realizing they might have a future they never expected.

Tone & Style:
𓂃🖊 Humor with Heart: The story is a blend of witty dialogue, lighthearted moments, and emotional growth. It's an exploration of how an unlikely professional relationship can bloom into something genuine, sweet, and heartfelt.
𓂃🖊 Romantic Growth: Think Me Before You with a unique twist. What begins with friction slowly transforms into something tender and real. The chemistry between our characters will be built on gradual trust and understanding, with room for humor, banter, and deep moments of connection.

✧✦ Plot Bunnies ✦✧

Plot bunnies are just that. Little skittering bunnies that need a home. Though most of these have some sort of fantastical element attached to them, (since that is my preference) it doesn't have to be. These are all plots that have no fleshed out story. They can be whatever you want them to be. Seeds that I've planted, now they need some water and love! Please PM me and don't post here if any of these catch your interest. Tell me what your ideas would be for it. Do you want a light romantic story or a darker, grittier romance? Are you looking for historical settings or something more post apocalyptic?

The blank pages await...

April 29, 2019: Giving this a bump. As before I am looking for the following:
- Shorter posts - somewhere around a few good paragraphs (400 words for example) to as much as you want to write.
- By popular demand, I am opening my taken stories for new variations. Most of my plots are just basic, with no set direction or ending and they can be played in a variety of ways. Let me know what / how 'you' would like to play them out.
If any of the plots from any section above pique your interest, please send a PM. Do not post here. I'd like to keep this thread clean.
If you have a story you wish to discuss with me, let me know.
Have a wonderful week and I look forward to hearing from you! =)
