Before we get started with the story-lines I would like to explain something
The story description is deliberately brief, this is because I do not wish to force anyone along any path creatively or otherwise
And now for the bit no one likes but we all have to follow

Creatures
Certain objects in the story universe can change one to another or human to one of these but they are ultra rare and it is not common knowledge in the story universe the items can only be used once a decade.

Were - Werewolves or Werecats, hate each other. Usually lives in a pack or a pride some can control their changes, all change on a full moon. Can bite humans to change them. Changes take place on the following full moon.do not age once turned or reach 21

Vamp - Vampires, day time these are humans though all eat meat they can't be vegans or vegetarian, at night the become bloodsucking vampires if they suck blood during the day or fail to get enough meat they die. Can change humans must suck blood of that human for a month. They are undead and do not age once turned or reach 21

Sup - Super Humans like comic books but those born with powers. The powers remain dormant until at least their early teens and the person feels their life is in danger. Can make no permanent changes to humans

Mer - Mermaid or Merman are creatures of the sea, to gain legs they need to go in the cave of change on a full moon, once legs can be grown they have 10 full moons to find a life mate or never return to the sea ( when I the sea they will not age and can live forever but never feel complete without a life mate) life mates a random and can be anyone

Magic - Witch or Warlock has magical powers akin to Sabrina the teenage witch. Or bewitched. However powers can only be used on self until 21

Nykki is a [insert creature here] but the homeless girl doesn't know it yet she lives in your town and you know her face but that is all but what will happen when you see her change for the first time ?

The last mermaid or merman

The last day of summer and you take to the beach, there is rumour of a party later that night so you hang around and see them near  a cave entrance

One charter  is a surfer chick that finds a ring that turns her into a mermaid. The other character is either a friend on land or the rings owner

New years day and the beach is deserted except for you to wake up early in a hung over state and on your way home you trip over a sleeping beached mer

Your class is joined by a strange new kid. They seem very nervous and scared. You try to be nice to them and invite them home when you accidentally trigger their change and  you discover more than you bargained for.

The shell

You find a shell on the beach and take it home with you, that night you start to hear a strange song. The song calls you to the waters edge

Jenna's cheers squad was one girl short but Jenna had an idea, you are the schools biggest male nerd that Jenna intends on turning in to the schools newest cheer leader it happens once a year

Nykki is a normal girl that discovers the formula for sexy juice you are the hottest guy in town who has a crush on normal nykki. Nykki drinks the juice and become the kind of egotistical women both characters hate
