There aren't many characters I've written in RP who I've felt myself personally connect with like Gwen Stacy, AKA the Ghost-Spider of Earth-65. She's tied at the top of my list of all-time favorite superheroes with Doctor Strange, and I've adored her ever since her debut in Marvel's Spiderverse comics. I'm a huge fan of her initial solo run, as well as her slightly different but incredibly fun portrayal in Into/Across the Spiderverse. Gwen is a character who I used to write daily, when I had the time to do so, and I used to write her in a setting which was very freeform, allowing her to interact with multiple writers and their characters and building her own story and relations with those characters with each subsequent thread. Lately, I've written Gwen in a few one-on-one RPs here and there, but I haven't been able to really dive back into that world in a way that feels truly satisfying.

Recently, I've made some changes to my personal life which will free up a bit more of my time. So, I think now might be the perfect opportunity to really try to dive back into Gwen on the deeper level I've been craving. So, I'm looking for something a little different than my usual cravings, which is why I've separated this post from my main request thread (Note: I read that we can have two request threads, but please correct me if I'm wrong about that and I'll make the necessary changes!)

Here's what exactly I'm looking for:

A writer who wants to help build a setting with me based around Earth-65, the characters within, and other periphery characters (such as other Spidery folks Gwen is known to interact with across the multiverse) with Gwen acting as its beating heart. What this means is I'm kind of looking for a very intimate DMing experience from someone who's excited about writing multiple characters like heroes, villains, and friends in Gwen's life. However, while I want Gwen to be the sort of "face" of this setting, I also am more than willing to write other characters as well where the story calls for it. Be them minor NPCs Gwen saves as she swings into action, or other heroes/villains who exist within this world.

A couple of examples: maybe we want Gwen to go up against a villain while teaming up with Scarlet Witch, I'm happy to write both the heroes for that scene. Maybe Gwen is the one in peril and requires rescue, and I'm writing the villain your character must save her from. Maybe we start developing some interesting side-characters and want to explore what they're doing "off-screen" from what's currently happening with Gwen. I hope that's not confusing, though I'm happy to try and explain it differently if need be.

Basically, I want this world we make to feel alive. While I want Gwen at the center of the main story beats, I don't mind us moving over to other characters in this world where it makes sense to do so.

I'm interested in everything in Gwen's life from the heroic to the mundane, and even the erotic. Though I do want the smuttier scenes to make sense in the context of the story and push things forward in some capacity. Like, is Gwen having some sort of sexual awakening? Is this a way to show how close/trusting she's becoming with a newfound love interest? Is she being used against her will? What are the repercussions? I want to explore all of that!

While I used to write a very comic accurate version of Gwen, I think I want to base her a bit loosely off the Spiderverse films. We know her general backstory, we can establish she's interacted with other Spiders across the multiverse, but a large portion of her world is ours to build up as we go. Same goes for many of her larger story arcs. Like, for example, I'd love to eventually explore our own take on the symbiote storyline and do our own version of Gwenom!

Things I'm really interested in exploring:

-I would LOVE to develop a romantic relationship with Gwen and another main character in this setting. It could be anything from lovey dovey sunshine n' rainbows to a mildly toxic love interest, or even a complete ship between Gwen and a villain. If you check out my profile you'll probably figure out that I'm a sucker for the latter, but I don't mind the former one bit, just depends on what kind of stories we want to tell and what kind of characters you're most interested in writing!

-I'm really interested in taking traditional Marvel characters and putting our own little spin on them. Earth-65 being an alternate dimension means the sky's the limit for how other canon characters show up and what form they take. For example, without spoiling things, in Gwen's comics a certain character who is generally a hero in most other universes is actually the Kingpin of Crime on her world. That's not to say other characters need to be changed drastically, though! If you have a particular Marvel character you'd love to write, they can absolutely be as true to the comics/films as you want.

-What sort of villains appear to challenge and torment our Spider? Once again, we can do almost anything. I'm a bit of a Spider-Man nerd, and his rogues gallery is my absolute favorite! We can do anything from the big bads to some of the more obscure (some of which I have a very strong affection for).

Additional Notes:

-I'd like Gwen to be 21 years old, a bit of a social recluse at the start unless she's with her other band members, the Mary Janes. She's afraid to let people close after what happened to Peter Parker, and she still carries the weight of his death quite heavily upon her shoulders. Her identity is still a secret to the public. Every now and then she goes on adventures across the multiverse with her fellow Spider-Peeps.

-She lives in a small studio apartment. She gigs regularly with the band, allowing her to scrape by alright, though she doesn't live comfortably. Most of her extra cash goes into the ever-necessary repairs for her suits. Turns out, being a superhero isn't cheap.

-Gwen's not currently attending college, viewing it as a distraction from her hero work. She's banking everything on her steadily-growing music career.

-Like the comics, I think it'd be cool to have Gwen's web-shooters be a gift from Janet Van Dyne, the now-retired Wasp. It's established that unlike Peter and Miles, Gwen's not particularly tech-savvy, and I always thought that was a fun little trait in a multiverse of hyper-intelligent heroes.

-Though she's faced her share of bad guys, Gwen doesn't have an arch-nemesis... yet.

-Gwen is shy and introverted, all but waiting for someone to ease her out of her shell. Sometimes she seems a little prickly. But once you get to know her, she can be loud and proud, maybe even a little rowdy given her roots in punk-rock.

NSFW Notes:

-I like the idea of Gwen still being a virgin. After the whole Lizard incident with Peter, she wasn't exactly eager to get close to anyone, and certainly not on that level. But that's not to say she's vanilla. In fact, Gwen is extremely kinky. She's highly submissive, loves the idea of being utterly dominated and "put in her place" (Note: feel free to check out the information linked in my signature for all the things I'm into, as Gwen will share a lot of my own kinks! That being said, they are not completely necessary).

-She's an absolute sucker for tall, dark, intimidating types. Not your typical bad boys, but those who are mysterious and perhaps even a little sinister. A slight sense of danger will only entice her all the more.

-Gwen thinks she's straight. She's really a little bi-curious, she's just never met the kind of woman who could swipe her off her feet.

Nothing I've noted above is totally set in stone, I just wanted to provide a plethora of ideas relating to Gwen herself to help get the ball rolling. Things are totally subject to change in plotting, and while I am very much open to writing other characters in this little shared setting of ours, I don't want to start developing them until we decide on who's needed. I'm more than happy to take on other members of the Mary Janes where necessary, but I don't want to lay claim to them either in the event that you want to write Mary Jane, you know?

While I'm totally open to OCs appearing in this, I do want to have a heavy emphasis on canon Marvel characters appearing in this world, even if they are considerably different from how we normally see them in the films/comics.

And I think that's everything I can think of right now! Sorry for this post being so long, but I hope it illustrated what I'm trying to get going here. I think this could be something truly special with the right person.

Because of the very nature of this whole thing, I'm only looking to work with one writer who I really click with. So if this is of interest to you, let's talk! I'd love to hear your own interests and start bouncing ideas off one another.

If you read all of this, thank you so, so much for your time.
