World of Corporation

I have actually stolen this from another player. It is dystopian situation where the corporations have taken over governing the world. They have gotten rid of unemployment, starvation, sexual transmitted disease, and for the most part people live happily. The workers are divided up in classes, level nine being the highest, people like the mother who is a CEO to the lowest which is level one doing the grunt work.

People are allowed to choose their life path still, college, trades, etc but because everything is owned by the corporations when you become an employee they literally own you. The higher the level the more you have to lose so you can be demoted as well. Once you are level six and above changing employers is almost impossible unless the two corporations agree to it. The corporations are owned by the people still free, or in charge.

There are punishment areas where people are retrained that revolt against the company. There are exclusive clubs and restaurants for the free folk who may bring their employees in but it is the only way an employee gets in. Of course, the rules of the clubs/restaurants are made up by the owners of the world.

The story starts with the woman CEO waiting for the new owners of her pharmaceutical company. Up until now her life had not changed since the revolution and she supported it whole heartily. Her first owner was a kindly old man who was bought out and retiring. He never took advantage of any of his employees, and yes employees are required to do sexual favors. The mother has run the business successfully and the owners will need her still to keep it running so she does have some leverage, though not a lot.
