Story concept
Rome; a dangerous city for anybody to live, whether you were a slave or a free man, of nobility or common folk. One young woman in particular was about to learn this lesson first hand.

I’m looking for a woman to play the role of a younger sister (age 16 – 18) who is sold off by her father, a senator of Rome, to save the family from poverty. Her twenty-two year old brother had joined the army five years earlier. This was much against their father’s wish since the Emperor is his enemy and as a result, her brother separated from the family on bad terms, especially his younger sister took it hard. His younger sister is unaware of what became of him. My character had actually done quite well for him and returned to Rome as a hero and a conqueror. He finds out what happened to his family and decides to purchase his younger sister to save her from a worse fate, although he doesn’t intend to let off so easily.

Next to non-con and BDSM elements, I can also see the siblings growing closer later on in the story as they make a name for themselves in Rome and have to deal with their ruined family name, riots in Rome from the plebs who are starving, natural disasters, and thieves or even assassins that come in the night. The overall plot is open for discussion and you have as much of an influence on it as I do.

Story introduction

Five years ago
Marcus, a seventeen-year old teenager, was the oldest child in a noble family of five children. In order of birth he had two brothers, Augustus at age sixteen and Lucius at age fifteen, a younger sister (your character at age eleven – thirteen), and his youngest sister Anastasia at age ten. The family owned a large vineyard, which was their main source of income. Their wealth had even allowed Tiberius, their father, to buy his seat in the senate.

Ever since he was a child, Marcus had dreamed of becoming a soldier to add his contribution to the glory and might of Rome. His father, however, had other plans. He wanted his son to get a good education so that he could take over the family business to increase their wealth and standing among the nobility of Rome. On top of that, his father had crossed the Emperor one too many times in the Senate and had made a mortal enemy of himself. Sending his son to the army would be a death sentence, and he did not let an opportunity pass to make Marcus aware of that.

As a result, Marcus and his father had many a fight that lasted for weeks. Even his brothers and sisters joined in the fight, trying to convince him of his bad judgment call. Especially the oldest of his sisters became venomous, making him feel miserable for days. Marcus left in the end, however, taking his horse with him. He joined the cavalry, while hiding his true ancestry. His father disowned him and made Augustus the heir of the family, telling Marcus not to return and that he was dead to him.

Three years ago
A drought that had lasted for over a year was starting the hurt the family’s resources. The family could make by, but their wealth was decreasing. Tiberius wasn’t too concerned yet, but knew that something had to be done to maintain their standing. For the time being, he settled on selling some of their art and surplus slaves. What was worse, however, was that it didn’t look like the coming harvest would do much to improve the situation, but at least the farm was intact and firm under the family’s control. They hadn’t heard of Marcus for years and had no idea what had become of him, or if he was even still alive. His name hadn’t even been mentioned in the household for the past two years, Tiberius had forbidden such.

Meanwhile, Marcus had, through clever strategy and a cunning ability to manipulate people, worked himself up to the rank of Decurion, and led a cavalry troop of twenty men. Slowly but surely, he was making a name for himself that didn’t depend on his ancestry. He earned the respect of his men for who he was, not from where he came.

A year ago
The influence of the family was starting to wane. They were no longer able to hold great parties and their finances had all but run dry. Marcus’ father desperately needed income and was looking for more creative ways to obtain it. His oldest daughter would usually have been sold off to a rich family by now, but due to her stubbornness and unwillingness to accept anything less than the very best, their father hadn’t found a suitable husband for her yet. The situation was growing more dire with every passing season, however, and if this kept up, he would be forced to do the unthinkable; selling his daughter off as a slave so that the rest of the family may continue to live in their house.  They had already lost parts of the vineyard and had to move to a smaller house. To add injury to insult, Tiberius had also lost his seat in the Senate. As a result, he was no longer able to assert the influence he once held.

Marcus had achieved several great victories in the name of the Emperor and had even had an audience with the Emperor himself. The Emperor was highly surprised when he learned of Marcus’ ancestry, but the story wasn’t foreign to him and he knew what had transpired. Better yet, he didn’t let this fact cloud his judgement, especially not when Marcus explained how he had no home or family to return to and that his father had disowned him after he had left so that he could serve the Emperor. The Emperor had one final mission for Marcus, if he proved successful, then he would be granted a claim of land just outside of Rome that was large enough to build a farm on and enough riches to sustain himself for years to come. Marcus accepted.

A week ago
The situation for the family had grown too dire. The farm was all but gone. Tiberius had sold most of the property that the family had once possessed and he could no longer maintain their standing in Rome. Things had gone downhill ever since Tiberius had lost his seat in the senate, and this left him in great debt. To prevent the loss of the last piece of land that they owned, he needed to find a way to pay off that debt, or truly lose it all and end up being a slave to the nobles that he had once dined with and impressed with his fortunes.

In order to give Augustus at least somewhat of an inheritance, Tiberius decided to sell the oldest of his daughters, who was now a young woman (age sixteen to eighteen). Her freedom had to be sacrificed in order for the rest of the family to survive. Tiberius and his sons took his daughter in the middle of the night, much against her will, and discreetly sold her to the slaver with the highest bid. The family used the money to pay off their debt and fled the city the next day, never to be heard from again.

Meanwhile, Marcus, now aged twenty-two, had returned to Rome. He had successfully completed the mission that the Emperor had tasked him with and was now a free man. Marcus had considered to visit his family, but instead decided to settle on his claim of land first. It was more than sufficient to breed and train warhorses on, something which he had always wanted to do, and he had hired contractors to build him a farmhouse and a large barn. Through his contacts in the city, he had learned about what his father had done to his sister, and although he hadn’t separated on the best of terms with his younger sister five years earlier, he couldn’t simply leave her to her fate either. If she thought, however, that he had forgotten about the way she had treated him, then she was sadly mistaken.

Marcus didn’t have any slaves yet and she would be the first that he’d purchase.

What I’m looking for in this story
I’m looking for a fun story that combines drama with love while breaking several taboos that we have in the modern world, but that weren’t as much a taboo in historical times. I’m more than open to discussing the plot and I want to incorporate your ideas into the story as much as my own.

I want to write at least two updates a week and I expect a minimum of two updates a week from my partner as well. I know that real life gets in the way from time to time and if you need a break at some point, then that is okay, but I simply lose my interest in a story when I have to wait several times for more than a week for an update. Please consider if you can meet this requirement before contacting me.

My writing style
  • Third person view, past tense;
  • Strong focus on realism, character development, and creating interesting plots;
  • I prefer freestyle, but I'm okay with dices if it makes sense for the game;
  • Typical posts of mine are between 250 - 1000 words;
  • My post frequency is one post every 24 - 48 hours, unless agreed otherwise.

My do's
  • Character development;
  • Good plot;
  • Realism. For example, when you fire a revolver six times, then you're out of bullets and will need to reload before you can shoot again;
  • Details. I love descriptive posts that add to the story immersion;
  • Use of proper spelling and grammar; I don't mind minor typos, but it gets frustrating if no effort is put into proof reading a post.

My don’ts
  • Omnipotence; I strongly dislike invincible characters, but I also strongly dislike it when the impossible happens, or when cheats are used to get out of a bad situation;
  • Inconsistencies in stories, they are real mood killers for me;
  • Short posts; the occasional short post is okay, but regular short posts make a game boring. (To me short posts are less than six lines, I prefer posts that are at least 100+ words.)

What I’m looking for in a writing partner
  • Similar writing style; meaning third person view, past tense;
  • Good spelling and grammar;
  • Updates of at least two - three paragraphs;
  • Posting frequency of once every 24 - 48 hours;
  • OOC chatter through private messages or messenger (doesn’t always have to be story related).

Likes
  • Dominant characters, submissive partners;
  • BDSM;
  • Foreplay;
  • Teasing;
  • Toys;
  • Pregnancy (from impregnation to lactating);

Dislikes
  • Blood, scat, watersports, menses, puke, etc.;
  • Mutilation;
  • Anime.
