INTRODUCTION
I have decided to give this a try and if enough players would join I act as a Game Master (Mistress) and start a game merely focusing on insane, rough & tough horror. The player characters (PCs) are expected to be normal persons who were born and raised under normal circumstances in a world matching our own therefore they would not meet any proven supernatural event or entity before. This criteria implies that the characters would be freaked out by all the monsters, nightmares and atrocities they witness or experience personally including non-consensual sexual activities, paranormal activities, abnormal creatures, magic, torture, gore and death. If you are interested (after reading through this post) feel free to reply in this thread.

GAME SPECIFICATIONS
This would be a small group game with a GM (me) and with 3-6 Player Characters. As I don't want to spoil the fun at this stage I would prefer to communicate more the atmosphere and the level of extremities instead of the actual plot. The PCs would be more or less normal people (they do not even need to know each other in the beginning though can have relation) being completely unaware of the unnatural monsters lurking the shadows.
I'm about to spend a lot time and energy to create a horror world and lead the PCs through it and I reserve the right to approve or reject any applicants. I'm attempting to give you all info you need to decide whether you would be fitting in a game like this. Be aware that if you miss reading, comprehending and most importantly matching the player and/or character criteria most likely you will be refused.
I plan this game be medium term at least meaning it shall last for a couple of month. We will use third person and past tense exclusively.

GENRE AND REFERENCES
The easiest way to deliver the message about the planned atmosphere and theme of the game I have chosen a couple of horror movies and links to some matching scenes. If you decide to sign up for this game you should expect something similar. Not a complete list, just some appetizer. I intentionally excluded zombie genre, most modern ghost stories (Conjuring or Insidious series) or Evil Dead like gore craziness. I like those too but they are for different atmosphere.

MOVIE REFERENCE VIDEOS
Various Hellraiser movies

House on the Haunted Hill

Gothica

Silent Hill

SAW movies

Hostel movies

Dagon

Warlock 2

Mirrors 2

Necronomicon

MUSIC REFERENCE VIDEOS
Some music videos to help you getting in the mood (if you like horror & sex there is a fair chance you like this music too):

SEXUALITY IN THE GAME
If you are familiar with either the movies or the music, you will probably guess that this game is meant to be focus heavily not only on the horror but also on the dark side of sexuality. Whatever is considered be the Sith half of sexuality. Since the characters would start as normal people the theme would be getting darker gradually but it’s possible to create an already wicked character in the beginning. In fact I would encourage to involve as many weird and unusual fetishes as possible for two reasons. First of all because these would help to strengthen the gray atmosphere. Secondly because this shall be a game of stretching limits and break some taboos and it’s fun anyway to deep dive into human mind focusing on sexual interest and even aberrations. Sexual (and emotional) interaction between the player characters is encouraged and as we progress more and more NPCs would join in the fun as well, even if a decent portion from the latter group may not be (or not anymore) human, so will the sexuality get to be more and more extreme.

CRITERIA OF PLAYERS

You are experienced (hence this would not be your first RP ever) and have a proven record of previously played games and/or completed stories. When you apply for the game please link your game/story mostly matching the theme of this game, so I can check and decide whether your history proves your capabilities. Why I'm asking for this? Not because I'm a snob or a bitch. Simply; I would like to play with people who are stable and able to deliver a certain level of quality. As per my experience most group games die soon because players quit with or without notice and that's really impolite since you could ruin the fun of all the others. I would like to build a team what can play at least on medium term and able to complete the story without major changes. I understand that RL can affect your ability to play but also know that if one takes it seriously enough can usually find weekly few hours to complete posts. I would like to see whether you have ever achieved this. If not, I must disqualify you not because of personal reasons but because as a GM I'm responsible for the fun of the entire group.
  • You are able and willing to focus on the horror aspect while filling your character with emotions and thoughts, and also able to provide to detailed descriptions if needed.
  • You believe you can post at least twice a week in the upcoming 3-4 months (while planned and announced absences are respected).
  • You, of course, can have your limits kinks wise but the as the game planned to be graphic and as extreme as it could be the less limit you have more likely you will enjoy. As basic expectations the following kinks shall not be in your off list:
       >non-consensual -this can mean either straight forward rape scenes but in general PCs should not enjoy the majority of things happening to them.
       >heavy torture and gore - including heavy body modification, gore such as wounds or intestines or brains, amputation, severe physical impacts on body like razors, broken bones, large area burns etc.
       >rough and unnatural sex - extreme insertions, deep penetrations of any existing or newly opened orifices.
       >monsters of various kind - check the reference scenes and you will understand.
       >natural bodily fluids as reaction to shock or pain - characters getting hurt on extreme levels or being scared probably release bladders or rectum or might trigger a throw up. Scat, ws or vomit would not necessarily be introduced as sexual activities but most probably would appear sooner or later.
  • Other extreme kinks such as bestiality, pregnancy or incest may appear as well since they can be a good source of horror atmosphere so make sure at the time of character creation you clearly mark the kinks which are absolutely off limit in your case otherwise they will be considered applicable.
  • You are able to accept and tolerate your character's permanent modification (either mental or physical) or even its death.

CRITERIA OF PLAYER CHARACTERS
  • More or less normal persons living in our world. Date is 2017.
  • I prefer at least 3 female characters while the rest can be males.
  • The characters should be attractive (hence not too old, let's say below 40-45) with an above average appearance.
  • Photos are required to be avatars for the character. At least one portrait, one clothed and one all figure nude photo of the person representing the character.
  • Occupation can be anything from street hooker to wealthy manager, from a geek historian to a renegade cop, from a freak serial killer to a goodhearted nun.
  • Characters must interact with each other as well not only with the GM hence the group must have its internal dynamics and changing relationship network.
  • Personality wise all sort of characters would do it (naive, innocent, extrovert, evil, selfish, aberrant etc.) but be aware that during the game the characters may change, and you will need to be able to apply and play the character even if the original personality is being twisted due to various reasons.
  • Characters left behind by their players are most likely die within a short period of time; I won't be able to control orphan PCs while controlling the entire world and the NPCs.
  • The player characters won't be heroes. They can do heroic acts, but this game is about facing the evil and dark and most people just can't survive, not to mention achieving success. This is a horror game where the character won't save the world. She can be extremely happy if she manages to save her own soul.
GAMING SYSTEM
I dislike complex and detailed systems and found the original World of Darkness RPG system perfect and adequate for a game like this. Even if you are unfamiliar with RPG systems reading and learning the basics is easy and takes less than 10 minutes and we only will use basics nothing else. Note that I don't intend to apply the WoD rules at all, only use their system for character stats and apply their basic throws. However, in the beginning I wouldn’t consider stats important at all, so stats based character sheets to be created later, once all players and their characters in place. At due time I will indicate the need to set the stats and will prepare an easy to use system descriptions as well.
It could also happen that we stick to freeform later as well if the need for a system won’t be justified.

POSTING SYSTEM
I thought of a simple system what would help to control the game and give clear directives to everyone about what and how can be done and what they shall focus on in their posts.
We will discriminate three kind of posts.

GM SCENE POST will be posted by the GM (me) and this usually will be general description and plot related posts aiming to move the story forward. I will always try to be very clear about where the characters are and what they are abel to do there, but since it’s impossible to describe every possible details in one post (not to mention results of actions and such) I will add more details to the GM SCENE POSTs in the GM CONTROL POSTs. In the GM SCENE POSTs I will always clarify three parameters:

  • The in game area/space where the characters shall stay during the validity of the concerning GM SCENE POST. I know this limit the freedom of the characters but I need to keep the group together in order to play one small group game instead of 2 group games or even 5-6 individual games. This limitation can be a car, a house or even a whole village.
  • The in game time period valid for that GM SCENE POST. Meaning that during the phase of the essential game post the characters should play along how long time. This can be again be short like a few minutes where every second counts or can be hours or days.
  • The real time (out of game) period with a defined deadline. This I plan to be at least 1 week or 2 weeks and can be upto a month or even longer (for cases when half of the group indicated being away and we need to slow down). The point is that within the given real time period the players can write as many posts as they want about their actions, though need to consider the in game time period’s length. If it happens that everyone completed all actions they wanted in that place and time and we haven’t reached the real time deadline yet then in case all players agree we can jump and start with a new GM SCENE POST.

GM CONTROL POSTS will be posted by the GM (me) and these posts will serve as fine tuning posts, NPC reaction within the boundaries of the previous GM SCENE POST. Very similar to the player posts only mostly concerning NPCs or reflects to actions initiated by PCs whenever needed.

PLAYER POSTS will be posted by each players, guess this was rather self explanatory. Based on the previous GM SCENE POST the players know where their characters are, the environment and such, and this is the main part of the game where within that given area (geographical or space lmits) and time period (time limits) they can act as they wish and see the best according to their character’s personality. In case PCs interact with each other only they are free to add as many actions as they wish as long as their interacting partner can decently respond to all of them. In case they do something what requires GM input in the form of a GM CONTROL POSTS  please make sure you only ask for one input/reaction/response by post so I can properly support you. The amount of posts and actions a player can do depends on her activity. Maybe one will post daily and being very active in character while another only post one during one scene (or GM SCENE POST) so her character would mostly just lurk around and not contributing much. I hope there will be at least weekly 1-2 posts per player.
Also the player posts aggregated intention will determine the next GM SCENE POST. Obviously when a scene (described by the GM SCENE POST) ends the PCs reactions, discussions, plans and actions will decide how to proceed, where to go and such. Here I will take the liberty to decide this based on everything I read from the players but if the group or the majority of player characters happen to proclaim what they want to do I won’t need to make decision by myself just follow the players intention.

In both kind of GM posts there might be GM instructions what had to be followed by the specified PC or by the entire party. These also limit one way or another the PCs’ freedom but under certain circumstances life is limited anyway and these instructions helps a lot to keep the game within the intended flow.

GM SCENE POST SAMPLE
GM SCENE POST

In game place: The Final Destination bar
In game time period: from 8pm to midnight
Real time scene deadline: 15th November 2017

From the outside it looks ugly, uninviting and dark. Large stones and hard wooden beams make up most of the building's outer structure. It's tough to see through the darkened windows, but the apathy from within can be felt outside.

As one enters the tavern through the small, soft wooden door, she’s welcomed by whispers and the smell of alcohol. The bartender is trying to catch a spider and makes no effort to acknowledge the newcomer’s presence.

It's as dire inside as it is on the outside. Squared, stone beams support the upper floor and the rows of small, molten candles attached to them. The walls are covered in cobwebs and any decoration that does hang there is now unrecognizable.

The tavern itself is almost completely abandoned. The few people inside could be anybody really, but whoever they are, it makes her a little nervous.
She did hear rumors about this tavern, supposedly it's infamous for something, but for the life of her she can't remember what for.

This is where she should investigate the dead of that poor hooker...
GM instruction:All PC stay in the main hall area and can interact there. In case want to visit loo or any other rooms tag GM with your character intention to follow her plan.
