I'm attempting a ' crossbow ' sort of montage for a youtube video. And I'm looking for a suitable background music that offers a similar atmosphere to this one.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thank you Dame. ;D

The Akkadian Empire is amazing.

On the off chance that you still don't have this one in your bookmarks, I'll direct you to a lazy man's way of finding epic music. HDSooundDl is a pretty nifty uploader for that kinda music from various composers. The videos with 'most epic' and 'most wondrous' probably fit what you're looking for the best out of the videos in there.
PM box is open. So is my discord: Sain#5301

Its an accomplishment to use the worst and most useless weapon within a community of try hards.

Anything from Two Steps From Hell is probably worth a look; they're basically the people to go to for epic music that would fit in a trailer.

You may also want to consider Thomas Bergersen; he's one half of Two Steps From Hell and does a fair amount of solo stuff in a similar vein:

Likewise Immediate Music do a similar job:

One can also look to the likes of Peter Crowley, Brandon Fiechter, Derek Fiechter and to a lesser extent DidekBeats although all of them tend to be a touch less "epic" with their music.

Those are great suggestions , Consortium.

I do usually go for Two Steps from Hell when I need a sense of epic-ness.

However , I'm not sure if its just me , but most of the music that falls under this category would serve better as backgrounds for an RPG.

The thing I found so thrilling about ' Strength of a Thousand Men ' , was that sense of perseverance. And its rare for me to find that sense in other music pieces.

I mean take ' The Poet & The Pendulum ' By Nightwish.

The whole song can be a sound track for a mini movie. Yet it doesn't contain that thrilling rush ...

Music is still an enigma to me.

Still , thanks for the suggestions. Return of the King does sound interesting.
