Maniac idea (M/F, F/F Blue Eye Samurai theme)

I've watched the Blue Eye Samuari and I was quite facinated with it, putting myself in the time period or imagining if I traveled back so I had a few ideas I was toying with and hoping they might appeal to someone:)  This can be M/F or F/F I can play Mizu, an original character Akeem or others. 
1) (I can Play Mizu or The Original character) Picks up as Mizu captures Fowler. How did she get him out of the castle? Fowlers dark desires haven't just attrached Mizu's rage but others. MC is a English Privateer whom has been preying on Spanish, and Portugese in the area hiring MCs ship out to dutch, english and even chinese governments. MC attrives intending to stop fowler but decides to help Mizu and figure out how much help MC will give the young Samuari...not realizing he is a she initally.
1) Fantasy Twist: MC is a creature only heard of in the shadows an undead vampire. She has survived in Japan in the shadows stuck there for over 40 years she was a half breed like Mizu but raised with more love by her dutch father before they were cast out and her father killed. She was turned and has lived in the shadows feeling completely out of place. Hearing about Fowler she see's possiblities to escape using him to get a ship to leave but also wanting to eliminate him. She stumbles on Mizu as she is about to kill fowler and helps traveling with her...for freedom but also intrigued by Mizu and planning on turning her...(This could also be set in London whem Mizu arrives but had been a noble woman whom was also a bit of a tom boy or female that was once an irish transplant whom was turned on the battlefield as she pretended to be a soldier in the Royalist army in the English Civil war.
2) Scifi Twist: Stranded in time by chance, technology, and fate. Taking the chance that time travel isn't a grand father paradox but creates a new world seperate from the previous one. MC has spent the last 50 years building a better world not through any nation but through the trading companies, privateering and exploeration of the time. Creating his own little colonies and fleet in out of the way islands that had options but would be over looked by imperial powers with the right timing and enough defenses. He has been raiding the arms shipments into Japan knowign their illegal, hiring his ships out in the area to the chinese, and dutch to sign letters of mark. Hearing about Fowlers plot he plans to put a stop to it. Having freed flesh peddlers slaves and freed them relocating them to safe areas as colonists when he goes in to try to assassinate Fowler he finds the city burning down and Mizu holding him hostage. He decides to assist and also interrogate fowler to discover the mysteries and also warry of other plots.
4) Scifi Twist: Stranded in time by a twist of high technology MC is thrown back into time and altered and stuck in Feudal Japan. Living on the margins and trying to surive but also helping when possible creating a little bit of a robin hood myth. MC picks up Mizu's trail as MC is trying to take out the flesh peddler and decides to help...that path leads MC to Mizu...deciding to help and uncertain how much to help also beginning to realize Mizu isn't whom 'he' appears.
