That one itch... (F Character for GM/DM, story focused)

I came up with a story/character concept some time ago that I'd like to explore in further detail.  While story/setting wise I typically play a more dominant role, in this case I want a partner to be in charge of the world.  That doesn't mean I won't be happy to help play out side characters, as well as help with brain storming and ideas.

The character I'd like to play is Callianthara d'Niryl.  She was a human noblewoman in her early twenties.  Her family is prominent and wealthy part of the kingdom, wielding much influence.  All nobility is comprised of humans, and like her family, she had a habit of looking down her nose at those of 'lesser races'.  One of her redeeming qualities was her love of nature and the outdoors, where she spent a fair bit of time wandering.  She chose the path of the ranger, though she was equally comfortable in social settings or spending days wandering the forests of her home country.  Dispatching bandits or other she felt particular disdain for was a task she reveled in.  She had a love of nature, and showed no mercy to those who might despoil it.  Her parents found early on that they could not tame her urges, so they at least tempered her with the finest tutors, weapons and armor a young woods-woman could want.  In return, she was always present for the social events she was required to attend, and played the games of intrigue and formality.  She was a beloved part of the family.

She was... until her arrogance got the better of her.  She tried to take on a group of bandits that proved to more than a match for her.  To her credit, she skilled several before she was slain herself.  That would have been the end of Kally, but for an arch druid who had watched her from afar during her wanderings.  He took pity on her, and decided to give her a second chance at life.  Druidic magic is very different from the magic of the clergy, however.  When she was brought back, she was no longer human, but tabaxi.

Why did she have to come back as such a beastly race?  She could have been reborn as an elf, a gnome, or something more respectable than a fur covered cat-person.  Her life was over... at least, the life she had led.  Now she had to come to terms with what she was, and the family and status she had lost.

The arch druid would not simply leave her to fend for herself... she was provided with a companion to help guide her for a time.  However, to make her new life that much stranger and less predictable, when she tried to learn magic from her companion, sorcerous, wild talent came to her, rather than divine blessings of the land.


So, if you've made it this far through my ramblings, congratulations and thank you ^.^  While I'm open to some kink, I want it to take a back seat to character development and story.  Romance is still an option, though.  Kally is bisexual.  If you're interested, please PM me.  Yes, my idea comes from a D&D sort of world, but there are so many ways you could make it your own.
