Hogwarts: New World Order ~ M Seeking F

Hello there,

I am returning from a little hiatus that was necessary to handle some personal/family issues, I have a few ideas in mind that I would love to discuss and explore with a partner that I truly connect with, a muse if you will. If anything here sounds interesting, or if you have ideas that are similar or in the vein of something you want to share, I welcome a PM.



Hogwarts: New World Order

This idea takes place in either a distant future, where the events of the books are a mere memory to most and yet the weight of those events has permeated every facet of magical society. The magical world has become much more authoritarian and fearful of humanity discovering their existence due to the trauma of the past, as such the various magical governments have placed more stringent rules into place and have created new branches of law enforcement that spy upon witches or wizards that they deem potentially dangerous to the status quo. This has resulted in a society that is very much divided, some tow the line and accept their new controlled state of affairs, while others embrace rebellion in a variety of ways in order to maintain freedom or stoke the flames of rebellion. 

However, not all is completely lost. The magical institutes around the world have expanded over the past few decades, with schools like Hogwarts and Ilvermorny now offering graduate programs for a variety of subjects, students that are enrolled in these programs often serve as teaching assistants and are more freely allowed to come and go from campus as long as it doesn't interfere with their responsibilities and studies. 

Now, I am looking to play an OC x OC story. MC is a transfer to Hogwarts and a graduate student working on his thesis, he is well known academically for his prolific magical talent and genius inventor. Particularly known for his creation of new forms of spells and even an entirely new classification of types of spells. As a student from Ilvermorny he was very outspoken and had developed a following of students that liked his ideas of freedom for expression and creation at all costs, resulting in some students performing acts that the Magical Congress of America would eventually labelled as treasonous. However, he was seemingly uninvolved. Still, this has placed him as a person of interest on government watch lists, who fear that he might become someone that will cause trouble for the current regime of political control that uses the promise of safety to slow progress.

YC could either be a Professor, or another graduate student at Hogwarts, and her field of study has her working closely with either the law enforcement agency, or a respected journal, either way she's approached by someone of great political power and blackmailed into getting close to MC/spying on his activities, under the pretense that it is for the greater good. 

Now, this is loosely defined to a degree as these are just some initial ideas I would love to flush out with a writing partner that I mesh with. I do love to collaborate and find shared passions with other writers, and I am open to changing things up as we discuss details and find our footing. I picture a bit of an enemies to lovers, or rivals to lovers, and a bit of a more grim/noir tale that is filled with conflict, tension, and moral ambiguity that forces the characters to truly discover themselves, what they believe in, and what they're willing to do to accomplish their goals. I am looking to explore their relationship with a variety of potential kinks as the story goes, but tending to lead toward a darker theme suited to a world that is struggling.
