A kind of Gaiman-style Gods world.

Probably best off noting that I've never done my own group before, so I'm new to this, be gentle!

The General Idea.

  The world was created by a big bang. We all know this, but what we don't know is that when that when that bang happened, it didn't just create Earth as we know it... oh no. We'd be so stupid if we thought that. What actually happened? Well, when the bang happened, it happened on 2 separate inaudible plains. 1 plain created Earth as we know it, humans, the whole evolution, dawrinism, vikings, Romans, Egyptian pharaohs, all of it. The other inaudible bang was what created Laszalar a world of mystery, magic, mayhem and more. Run by the God's and Goddesses of the human imagination- only, you see, they're not technically imagination.  People from laszalar use portals to get to Human Earth for all manner of reasons, trade, mayhem,  all sorts. They're created by mages, the portals, and laszalar is full of friendly characters who like to flout the law.

Enter Loki. Trickster God extraordinaire.  His punishment from Odin was to be sent to Earth to learn humility from the mortals. Instead he made himself "Jesus" and all holy hell is breaking loose thanks to his little black book, "The Bible"


Minimum characters needed

Loki- devilish,  naughty boy who likes to play tricks.  Starts as a teenager who is thoroughly bored with having some powers but being generally useless and not special on a world of special creatures. 

Oberon- King of the Fae people. 

Vossie- head mage. Totally in lust with Hecate, and is rather mean, hates doing portals for people so often randomly sends them to Muspelheim, or some equally dark place just to fuck with them.

Odin- need I say more?

Thor- General anti- loki and angelic do-gooder.

Aphrodite. Again need I say more?

Hecate (I have a plan for her so I'll be playing her as goddess ruler and a few bits).

Vykrul leader.

Dracula/vlad type -not got further than that.

Lycanthrope leader - again not thought it out but mystical being kinda thing.

Shape shifter leader - name not considered. Shape shifter of a dragon in my mind but feel free to play. 

"Maggot" a hedge witch of old beauty,  mad as a box of frogs but useful in a bind, has loads of bottles hanging off her. Clatters and clangs and bells and whistles... all useful in their own right.

"Clara" - Oberon's wayward fae child. Beautiful,  half human. Kept away from humans for fear she will learn what mortality is.

Basically I have an idea for this whole world of people in my head.  And the council of gods is dealing with loki having made himself Jesus. Of course, this could lead to other loki/God related adventures but I have a feeling this could be long.

I would love it if everyone has discord. It makes it more real-time sort 0f thing. And I would ideally like to do it 1st person as the character. This doesn't have to be romantic or sexual in any way, unless you have something in mind and want to take it into a side room in the channel, that's up to you, but the primary room will he laszalar dealing with problems that are primarily of a loki based nature.

Feel free to chuck ideas at me too, we'll need a whole host of support characters. Including some humans.let me know what you think.

Not that they've been left out or even forgotten, but the progressing world I have in my head includes them all, I just might not have got that far in my brain yet.

Maggot to me is one of the most interesting! She's this wild hedge witch who's strong and wild and fearless. Maybe sarcastic, but seriously loving underneath her hard exterior. She's someone Hecate and the Gods look to a lot.

Update.

I wanted to really try to sell this a bit more so will probably update the main posts but basically there is any magical being available.

Ones I desperately want-

Loki (troublesome, can throw in loads of problems for us).

If people wanna do 2 characters then they can... if they feel capable.
