Hello!
I'm Baird and this is my little search thread.
I hope something piques your interest! If none of the ideas or plots really appeal to you, but you feel like we'd make good RP partners, I'd love to hear from you and see if I could make a good partner for any of your ideas.

About me

my preferences, quirks, RP style and all that

• I'm a female who prefers writing females of all different kinds of orientations. I can write NPC males or minor characters, but it's not really my strong suite. It doesn't really matter to me if you're a F who prefers writing M, or vice-versa. In terms of sex/gender, my only real preference is that you treat everyone with equal respect.
• I prefer RPing in third person, but in certain cases, first person is fine.
• I like really kinky stuff, wild sex and mindless fucking as much as the next person. But I will also just very easily get bored if there isn't a touch of reality guiding the story. I think plot vs smut is relative, depending on the story, and the direction you and I as RP partners want to take it. But I cannot do RPs completely devoid of drama, nuance, realistic human responses and consequences.
• I don't like specifying word/paragraph counts. I think it's a pretty variable aspect of the RP. Shorter replies may be necessary to move scenes along. Likewise, really long replies aren't a guarantee for quality. But I do like detail, dynamic responses, introspection--just a good glimpse at the scene, our characters and their surroundings. But I do write by bouncing off the energy of my partner so please be forewarned. I might also try and be a bit more picky about partners this time around, so I might pop into your older posts to read a bit and see our writing styles would mesh well together.
• I don't have an exact posting schedule, but 1-3 replies a day, every 2-3 days is probably a good general estimate. It can be faster or slower than that. I know we all have lives outside of RPing and hope we just extend the same amount of grace to each other in terms of posting frequency. I'm also generally less likely to reply on the weekends.
• I used to be a serial ghost-er. And a ghost-ee as well. So, now, in an effort to be better, I'll try my best to be frank and honest if an RP is no longer working for me, or if I'm no longer interested in the way a story ghosts. I hope you can do the same.
• I like open communication OOC in terms of plotting. I'm generally a bit of a people-pleaser but I'll try to be a bit more open and assertive about my ideas should they come about. That being said, I'm not the best world-builder, or plot-writer. I'm better at fleshing out characters, but in terms of getting a story from point A to point B, I might need some help.
• I may be a kinky slut who can get into some gritty NC stuff, but always with previously consented upon boundaries, ofc. Just the usual, don't be an ass, don't be disrespectful, don't try to force things that either of us uncomfortable with. This pertains to behind RPs, of course.

Am I the only person who just blanks when they're asked about their on's?  Anyway, here are a few right of the top of my head.

  -I'd prefer speculative histories or epilogues over AUs/OCs within the GoT TV series timeline. I just feel like stories with  more barebones stories are more fun to play with. But I wouldn't be opposed to a good plot pitch for an AU. We can... all do better than season 8. For AUs, I prefer playing Sansa, Margaery, maybe pre-shitshow Dany.

Fandom Ideas

The Boys: Those Goddamn Supes

I'm imagining this being just as dark and gritty as the show. (I know there are comics but I haven't really read them, tbh). I would love to play a young ingenue similar to Starlight in this as my main character then we can maneuver around the world in a similar way to the show. I think I would prefer the main interacting characters to be OCs. Everyone in the series seems to have already fully portrayed their maximum assholery and pathetic-ness so, making fresh new characters seems like the right move. Using show characters as NPCs or plot characters would be totally fine by me though. The scope of who to play, how big the world is gonna be, plot to smut ratios etc would be stuff I'd prefer to discuss. This is a super rough concept but I just really love the gritty twistedness of The Boys. I'd love to explore the rise and fall of fame, the exploitation, the general power play, ugh there is just so much to explore.
