Superhero seeks GM! - CLOSED

Hey all!

So, whilst I've been a long-term comic-book nerd and lover, I've rarely tried to dip my toes into role-playing a superhero. I've come close a few times, but the games never got off of the ground. I'd love for the chance to rectify this, and so have put up this post.

It should be noted that whilst I am, ideally, looking for a GM to run me a system game, I am happy to play free-form if that's preferable. If a prospective GM is open to using a system, I'll try any that I have access to (but do recommend some below with my character concepts).

I am not looking for a smut-heavy/focused game, but am happy to indulge if it makes sense for the story/characters and works within the narrative.

I have two characters in mind, and would love to play either of them:

Spider-Girl: This web-head is either the Spider-Man variant from another Marvel universe, or a person in our world who gets her hands on the powers of the comic book hero. (Whether Spider-Man as a fictional character exists or not in the latter scenario is entirely up to the GM.) If playing her in a system game, I'd ideally like to use the Marvel Universe rules, but could re-make her using any other with a bit of help.

Nova/Paragon: This character was originally made using the Heroes Unlimited rules (a friend created her post-awakening stats in secret, and then drip-fed me them through the few sessions of play we managed to have). She essentially possessed a lot of the powers of Superman - super-strength, super-speed, flight, indestructibility, longevity - but without the unnecessary, pick-'n-mix bag of add-ons. The appeal here was playing a character who had to balance the real-life concerns of a studious teenager with the realities of being the Earth's most powerful superhero - a kind of "Peter Parker meets Superman" scenario that would be fun to explore.

As mentioned, the original character was made using Heroes Unlimited (I still have the stats, though I've never played the system before, and so would need help to learn it), but she could be re-worked to suit any other system that allowed for such a potent character (Blood of Heroes, M&M, Sentinel Comics, etc.).

I did have a character picture for this character, but cannot find it. I'd likely then use the non-costumed picture shown above, unless I can find something else suitable.

If this is of interest, please do let me know. I would be up for playing this as a group game, if there was interest (and the GM was happy to do so), though given the power level of the latter character, I'm not sure whether a team game would work best with Spider-Girl rather than a Superman-type powerhouse (but I would welcome the chance to try!).
