Represented among the inky canvas of the night time sky it was said the ancient Greek gods had placed creatures of great power within the sky as a means of honoring their varying mythos that helped culminate history, to be forever memorialized in the stars and cast their protection upon mankind throughout the millennia to come. Each constellation represented the favorable traits of martyred souls whom brought balance to the universe with their sacrifice, with gods and goddesses of old paying tribute as faithful servants looked upon the Zodiacs as entities to be celebrated, and in return the signs would offer their own unique flux and flow that retained the cosmic thread of the universe in order. Like the great gods however would come the wax and wane of great power taking a toll upon creatures of vast power, the natural process of a star's energies being depleted over the fabric of time and space resulting in the need to refill the chalice of balance; to create new versions of the pillars that would continue to uphold the natural order of the unspoken mythos of a constantly changing world.

With the wane of the last lunar cycle would come the need for those who now represented the Zodiac cycle to come into their destinies, taking up the mantel of greatness that had been carefully constructed within eons ago as like a patient chess master, the pieces that had been forged long ago were now were ready to be moved.

The twelve Zodiacs upon their creation had the careful consideration to bless the next carriers of their gifts and titles among the world they watched over, pieces of themselves to awaken when the next cycle was ready to be born and bring in a new roster with the hope that they too would be the ones to create more meaningful and perhaps even greater versions of the signs for future generations. A new chapter in which would not only reincarnate the mythos themselves to forever be forged within the night time sky, but to unify gifts to bring forth a population of Zodiacs that would be a meld of favorable traits born out of love rather than simply being passed down. The task now set our story begins with the introduction of all the awakened signs from their once mortal coil, twelve strangers gathered by a mysterious letter instructing them to gather for what was said to be an all expenses paid get away; a once in a lifetime sort of experience that was nearly impossible to pass up. With the devastation of the world truly unbalanced from decades of destruction, rampant disease and social disorder, the new incarnations were needed now more than ever and so-

~Guidelines|Rules~

General Rules
Let's get the main one out of the way; I will not tolerate drama. The first little snippet of it I will not hesitate to kick people out. In the past I've seen drama completely tear a story apart, so please for the sake of common decency just try to be respectful to others okay? That goes as well for the Discord chat (which will come later depending on enough interest), because come on...we're all adults so please act like it. If there are any issues don't hesitate to message me and I  will clear up the matter quickly. As far as posting length I want to maintain a sensible 2 to 3 solid paragraphs if not longer as my normal rules apply to this as well; no one liners and god moding. I want to create a story full of emotion and depth, so posts should be detailed and be much more than sheer reaction if it can be helped. Granted this is not so much a rule as more to help fellow players have enough to respond to, so it doesn't have to be a novel either just enough to give a good direction for others to reply to.

I live in South Carolina so my time zone may vary compared to others, that being said I tend to post in the later afternoon going to the wee hours of the morning as I tend to not sleep all that well. Some posts may need to be paused in order to get into a routine though that doesn't mean we skip over due to an inactive partner. There may be posts that can further explain your own until we can move the story along, but try and be courteous to others given we are all in different time zones. That said as well I at least want one post a week from all players if not more, nothing too extreme but any inactivity longer than an week unless stated will result in a character being taken out in some form. This will be fairly sandbox as far as the general story with some leeway to allow people to filter in and out as they tend to do with group games; so long as we have posts the game will continue despite people dropping, so don't worry.

This game will rely heavily on players interacting with one another in search for characters being compatible to want to seek out romance, that while I am accepting of all walks of life, preferences, etc, for the sake of the game we are focusing on heterosexual relationships as the end goal is to result in the current signs refilling the next chapter of their offspring. The actual act of pregnancy will not be played out in story but rather with those who have found their significant other going through a ritual (much like a wedding you could say) that signifies their status, it should be noted though that much like a dating sim or even reality show that players are to weigh their options and mingle with others to see more than one single choice right off the bat. These characters will be strangers to one another and thus will have several different sort of demeanors and attitudes that leaves many possibilities to narrow down through various events that will be hosted, like group dates and cocktail hours to break the ice. There will be no pairings made before the main events through OOC talk as everyone is expected to participate, characters must be active with one another that while some may gravitate to another for a number of reasons, there does still need to be the effort at least in the beginning.

Given the number of character slots available I am going to keep track of gender ratios given it does need to be equal to one another, though that does not mean each sign must reflect what the examples I have listed above. You want to play a male Virgo? Go for it. I will be constantly updating what roles are taken and give reminders of what the ratio is at the current moment to ensure those wishing to join have a clear idea of what is available, that should it come down to it I may open up the possibility of doubling up- though I will announce such only if it comes to it.

Character sheets must be PMd to me although please keep in mind that I have the final say in if it is accepted or not as it does not mean roles can be 'saved'. There will be many points I will go through to accept a sheet from previous posts, activity on the site, writing style and of course personality; that if I turn down a player it is not personal what so ever. I have been on the site long enough to know how certain groups can behave and interact with one another and if I see it is not a good fit, it is purely for the sake of the game and not an attack on anyone personally; I reserve the right to deem someone as not fitting for one reason or another.

The table above gives a simplified version of traits most common to each sign both the positive and the negative, that while filling out your character sheet you may expand further on these. If there are any questions as far as what is to be expected please don't hesitate to reach out either here or me personally, the game itself more of an experience of so many different characters all gathered together with differing personalities and possible baggage, with events allowing the emotional growth and flow as for the most part it will be a fairly sandbox type with scattered GM posts moving things along. That said I will not be including any sort of 'powers' for these characters given it is not really needed for the setting being created, instead in place will be strong traits that are more of a focal point than others, for example: Stone wall intimidation that slices through the room, or a bubbly enthusiasm that puts others at great ease. At the given start of the story these are merely characters with the potential of reaching greatness that had been awakened within them, that only after finding their significant other will their true powers bloom.

Do keep in mind I am looking for real life pictures for these characters as this game is set in modern times, the location of their destination offering all the accommodations one can ever want for a get away of a lifetime.  This game will be placed in the bondage section of the small group area of the site as I highly doubt anything extreme will pop up in a setting like this, they are all consenting adults and any real violence/abuse will not be had here.
