[M4F] The Writer's Paradise

I am the writer who a couple of times a year goes to a remote cabin in a wood, near the lake. Here I am away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and able to get lost in my writing, on the novel I am writing. Here is the luscious green of the forest canopy, chattering birds, the breeze through the branches...and the rain. When it comes I need no music for it becomes my orchestra, especially at night.

It's a well-appointed cabin, all basic amenities: bath and shower, good size bedroom and bed, kitchen area, a place to relax and to write. It also has a decent sized balcony. I love to sit out in the evening; even when it rains I'm covered. A glass a whisky, me and the stars. I lose all sense of time and exist in time and space.

There's another cabin beyond the rise and I've never seen anyone there while I've been around. But today when I pass nearby, I notice there is someone. It's you. I've never seen you here before. In the opening around your cabin, you're sitting on your balcony, looking over at me.

I'm um...I live in the cabin across the um...across from the...well I don't live there! I'm um...staying, just for a while...just staying...
I know.
Oh...ok...well...I'm Peter...Pete. And um...I'm just...taking the air I guess! 

You watched me, you listened with some mild curiosity to my clumsy intro.
