Magic VS Technology- RP Recruitment!

On the world of Gaia, a great war has been waging for over a millennia. This war has ravaged the land, polluted the oceans, and charred the earth so that no life may ever blossom there again.  The war did this to almost the entire planet, for now only a single continent remains as the enemies clash for what they refuse to share.

One of these sides lives on the last stretch of land offering life. They live in the forests, mountains, valleys and grasslands, and along the rivers that cross between them. These people build their homes from the very same life that covers the land. They make homes from the trees, clothing out of furs, and finding unity by the campfires of their friends and family. More importantly, they sense the power in life itself. These people see the strength the spirit has in every person, every animal, every plant, and even in Gaia, and have learned to tap into this power in many different ways, to create powerful and wondrous magical spells to do things only limited by their strength and imagination. These people have come to call themselves Mages.

The other civilization meanwhile is one of iron, steel, and titanium. A people that have come to push the limits of science and knowledge to their limits, so much so that they now live in a great floating city above the land. It is a city that sits on a great mass of land almost half as large as the continent itself. On this great city in the sky, the people relish in the virtues their science brings them. They have cures for most diseases and injuries while expanding their life span through medical advances. They have built skyscrapers twice as high as any in the modern day. Their clothes are of the latest styles, with no two being exactly the same. They drive hover vehicles and have plans which have perfected all forms of renewable energy as well as computers to process endless information. To this end they have created weapons far beyond anything nature can provide, such as mech suits, flying ships, energy projectiles, beam swords, and many more wonders. These people have long since deemed themselves the Techs.

Neither side can remember what started the war. Nor can either remember a time when they were not fighting. The Mages blame the planets dying state on the Techs because of their greed and obsession of progress at the cost of resources. The Techs meanwhile blame the mages, who drain the very life force they worship with each spell they cast. But the true reason for the war has long since ceased to be about life, but rather of hatred. Both sides have been raised for generations to hate the other, and like every generation that has come before, this generation seeks to win the war for their people, once and for all…

                                                                                                                                                                                                               
Welcome everyone!

I am hoping to recruit a group of people to join in me in creating this rp! I would ideally like 8-10 people (including myself) for this group, but as little as 6 can do the trick. I am hoping to also find a nice balance between Mages and Techs to keep the sides even starting off, as well as ideally (but not necessarily) even between male and female rpers to give us both pairing options as well as just some posting variety in the plot.

On that note, this rp is meant to put the characters and story BEFORE the smut, not the other way around! Sex scenes are great and all, but they are usually better earned when there is plot and character development leading up to it. To that end the basic plot is kept simple on purpose, so that we can develop it into its own.  There are other things I am looking for as well so to summarize I am looking for:

Group size of 8-10 (6 minimum)
Equal number of Mage/Tech Characters
Equal number of male/female characters
Long term rpers who are story driven first
Rpers who post at least once every 3-4 days (Twice a week)
2-3 Paragraphs per post minimum. Proper spelling and grammar required.
Third-person writing style only please.

Style:
As you may have guessed by now this rp will be completely literary in nature. This includes fight scenes, sex scenes, death, injuries, and other situation you can think of. There will be no dice or other tools to input randomness into the roleplay.
Genre will be fantasy, sci-fi, and sword and sorcery, action, romance, all all those kinds of genres.

Rules:
Rules will be fleshed out in more detail once it can be discussed with the group, but these rules are non-negotiable:

1.No goddmodding- No making your character all powerful, all knowing, invincible, ect. Your character should have flaws and struggles that they have to deal with. This isn’t about ‘winning’, it’s about making a compelling story.
2.No auto-hitting- So no automatically hitting, injuring, or otherwise assaulting  another person’s character because you ‘feel’ that it’s what should happen in this situation without the rper’s given permission. This again applies to fight scenes, sex scenes, and anything else related.
3.No Killing- Murder is bad. Murdering fictional characters without owners consent is still bad. Don’t do murder.
4.Non-con- More details on this in a bit, but essentially extreme non-consensual sex scenes are banned and light ones are not allowed without the prior given consent of that character’s owner.
(In case you haven’t figured it out yet this means conflict of any kind will take either discussion and/or compromise with others.)
5.No metagaming- This means that people should not control the thoughts and/or actions of characters that are not their own. We all want certain things to happen in a story we enjoy, but if you are seeking to just control everything and everyone, than just go write a story.
6.Posting- As stated above please post with proper spelling and grammar. All posts should be at least 2-3 paragraphs in length, but can be as long as you wish them to be. :)
7.Please communicate- If you are unable to post for a certain amount time, dislike something that has been posted, feel a rule has been broken, or if you decide this rp isn’t for you, please let me and the other group members know so we can be prepared and act accordingly.

Sexual Content- We are all adults here, so violence and gore is allowed as long as it follows the other rules for combat and general character development. However in terms of sexual scenes/ kinks I am looking to NOT include the following:

Extreme gore/violence
Aggressive/ Violent Non-con (even with rpers consent)
Branding
Cum Inflation
Abuse
(Sexual) Pain and Torture of any kind
Humiliation
Watersports
Scat
Other items might be added to the ban list after group discussion, but always remember to keep a rpers ON’s/OFF’s in mind when engaging in a sexual scene with them even if it is not banned from the rp.
