THE ROYAL ACADEMY OF MAGIC

The Royal Academy's spires is raised above the tallest mountain in the world. To even visit the place is a great feat, at least if you're intending to go there by the use of your mortal coil. It's the only place where you can truly master the art of magic, at a level far beyond anything else in the known world. Yet still, only the select few ever really attains mastery.

The thing is, no one knows how they do it.

From time to time, a godlike mage will simply appear near the spires uppermost plateau. While the official explanation for their appearance is that they're graduates that have privately been tutored under the greatest of mages, the truth is a bit more... Sinister.

What if learning magic was the only way to attain freedom? To remain sane in a world of corruption?




For as long as you can remember, you've lived in the orphanage

They've taught you and fed you, kept you warm and safe and with plenty of people to play with. While you were given all the love and support in the world, there were always these weird thoughts in the back of your head that never really ceased trying to get your attention. In your books, there'd be foreign words that the teachers wouldn't detail - forests, nations, politics, the whole lot. If there were images, they almost always had a blue sky, yet the best thing resembling those images was a roof painted in the same color.

The more you questioned, the more the adults glared. One day, you were pulled aside for 'the talk', a thing that most seemed to have sooner or later. Soon after, you were send to the teenage section of the orphanage.

Here, you would live with at least a snippet of the truth for a good three years along with everyone else. You're stuck deep, deep underground. There's no one who can help you. There's no one who knows you're there. When you turn 18, you will be set loose upon a vast dungeon - one which will challenge and mold you or entrap you for the rest of your days. The purpose is to make you a perfect, godlike, mage.

Rebel too much, and they will dispose of you preemptively.




Then, the day finally arrived.

You're about to be set loose along with your generation of youthful hapless victims. You give your last goodbyes, before heading off into a usually walled off section of the orphanage. There, you're split apart from everyone else within what seems like a massive stony maze. After walking for what must've been an hour or two, the adults who've been following you around finally stop. Next to them is what can best be described as a small rectangular concave into the wall.

"Step inside. Don't put your hands out. It's basically a magical elevator that'll lead you to the dungeon. Good luck~"

With one foot after the other, you step inside the small rectangular space. Then, once inside, you feel your weight being shifted, the stone itself shivering under your feet. With a last wave goodbye, you say your involuntary farewells to the world you've known your entire life, before entering one fraught with danger.

Will you fight your way to freedom and become one of the greatest mages there have ever been? Or will you be corrupted and fucked until the end of time in your very own corner of the dungeon?



ABOUT ME


What I'm looking for:

  • 18+ female switch characters, who will have an active role in the story rather than a passive one. A lot of the scenes in this story demands a character who isn't afraid to use their sexuality to get what they want
  • A writer capable of writing at least 2 paragraphs per post, but preferably more
  • A writer who likes to talk and plot OOC as the story is progressing. Taking and giving criticism and feedback is vital to a good RP imo.
  • A lot of my kinks center around extreme arousal and pleasure. Stuff like pain and humiliation isn't really my cup of tea most of the time. My partner should have a good number of kinks or desires that could work well with my 'arousal based fetishism', or we won't have enough in common for an RP to work out.

What I offer:


  • Timezone and availability: GMT+1. I'm usually active at some point between 7 PM and 1:30 AM local time.
    Post length: Usually 2-5 paragraphs depending on what's going
  • Post frequency: Varies a lot. As of late, I've been active on the daily, but it's unlikely to stay that way. I'll try to give a headsup if I'm going to vanish for more than a week!
  • I usually play: As a storyteller

    Possible encounters in this scenario:

    • Humanoid species, like humans, vampires and cat girls
    • Tentacles, vines, slimes and other wiggly monstrosities
    • Ghosts, fae, animated objects and other magical creatures
    • Monster girls, like cat girls, slime girls and alraune

    THE MAGIC

    The magic system in this world is up for debate. The below details but one option out of many that we can play around with.


    What is magic?
    Magic energy is the excesses of the soul. When the soul shivers, it draws energy from an unknown source, letting it filter and be shaped by whatever emotion the person is feeling. Different emotional energies produce different effects, fueling differing spells.
    Among the most powerful emotions are lust and fear, as metaphors for the creation of life and the avoidance of death. These emotions usually produce a more raw type of energy, moldable and usable in all sorts of spells, making them among the most important emotions in a mage's life.

    How is it used?
    There are two primary usages of magical energy.
    Firstly, there are spells. These are 'instructions' for the magic, which helps it take rather complicated shapes with rather limited effort. Creating functional instructions are tough, and so most mages recycle spells made by those before them.

    Secondly, there's emotion magic. This style of magic relies more on gut intuition rather than any sense of academia. They usually rely on complex emotions which produce highly unique energy that can simply be used in its raw form to produce a powerful effect. A complex emotion can be a highly specific emotion, such as the feeling you get when you think you're being watched. By simply endowing yourself with this rather paranoid energy, it's possible to gain a sense which can tell you the exact location of the person watching you, if anyone is nearby. Learning emotion magic can take a lot of practice, as you're basically 'making a spell up on the spot'. As a result of its nonacademic nature, emotion magic is highly individualized and unpredictable.

    There's more to it than that, but that's the general gist of it.

    Magic and the environment
    Since lust creates magic - and magic can be created in excess - it's a common strategy for the various species of the world to fuck someone silly and wring them dry of their magical energy. After a while, the soul will get exhausted, at which point one can be considered 'fully wrung dry'. It's at this point the corrupting effects are most likely to occur, as the soul might be affected by the excess energy of the ones who just fucked them silly. It's usually more of an accidental effect more so than anything that happens on purpose, with a few exceptions where a species breeds by fully corrupting a person, turning them into one of their own.




    LIGHT HOMEBREW

    This is a lightweight homebrew which can be added to the story if you want to. The system is simple; 1D10 + the lowest of the required stats for all difficulties. The higher the better, with varying narrative effects. The average human has 5 in all stats, except for any stats related to magic.
    All stats have a 'current' value and a 'max' value, and the roll is always made by using the 'current' value. Various actions, injuries and debuffs will slowly drain your stats, until you figure out some place to restore them, usually by sleeping or eating.

    STATS

    Perception. Indicates your ability to perceive your surroundings effectively.
    Strength. Indicates your muscular capabilities as well as how long you can last physically.
    Agility. Indicates how flexible you are as well as how good you are at coordinating precise motions... Such as your fingers during a handjob.
    Intelligence. Indicates how fast you think.
    Charisma. Indicates your general appeal.
    Willpower. Indicates how much mental pressure you can resist, including the ability to resist sexual pleasure/desire.
    Soul strength. Indicates how good you are at manipulating and creating magical energy.
    Soul capacity. Current value indicates how much energy you have stored, max value indicates how much you can store at most.

    DIFFICULTY

    This is here to give you an example of what the difficulty values might mean during an RP. In this example, the character has to move, which is usually a mix of strength (for speed) and agility (to maintain footing and dodge objects).

    1-3: Trivial. (Walking on a flat street)
    4-6: Easy. (Running at an even pace)
    7-9: Some challenge. (Sprinting at an even pace)
    10-12: Moderate challenge. (Sprinting really rather fast, perhaps while avoiding obstacles)
    13-15: Above moderate. (Sprinting as fast as humanly possible or sprinting while avoiding obstacles)
    16-18: Hard. (Sprinting almost as fast and as nimbly as a world-record obstacle course holder)
    19-21: Very hard. (Sprinting as fast as a 100 m world-record holder while parkouring through an obstacle course)
    22+: Basically impossible. (Anything you can imagine, really)

    CHARACTER CREATION

    Each non-magic stat starts at baseline of 4, magic stats start at a baseline of 0. You get 20 points to spend on your stats. The costs of increasing your stats is equal to the cost to increase your stat one less level plus the number of points above the baseline you're at. By decreasing a stat, you gain 1 point flat for each stat point decreased. Magic stats cannot be gained nor decreased.

    For simplicity's sake, the cost/gain of stats at differing stat levels are:

    • 0
    • -1
    • -3
    • -6
    • -10
    • -15

    You may add traits or quirks to your character if you want to. These can be anything, really. I'll vet them to make sure they're not broken or OP, so be ready to change them at my whims. If you want to play an OP character though, tell me that and I'll let you do whatever you want - my only demand in exchange is that the story is more focused on smut than usual, and that your character is a VERY active participant in said smut. Either willingly giving in to various encounters or having her way with whoever she meets.

    Your stats may change during play, for better and for worse. Stat changes are usually tied up to the narrative, so clearing a task or experiencing something wild will be more likely to leave an impression. A simply 'off-screen training session' might also do it. Your stats may also change as you get corrupted.

    Example character stats:

    • Perception
    • Strength
    • Agility
    • Intelligence
    • Charisma
    • Willpower
    • Soul strength
    • Soul capacity

    CORRUPTION

    Corruption will add certain traits and quirks to your character over time. You will have a 'corruption stat' of sorts, which ranges from 0 to 100, like a percentage. It's possible to lower corruption without losing the physical traits - the corruption stat basically doesn't account for how human you are, but how 'sane' or 'in control' you are. If you play your cards right, you could end out a fully sane monster girl if you'd like that.

    If corruption reaches 100, you will become fully corrupted. We can either play onwards with you assaulting people and other monsters like a sex-crazed maniac, or have an epilogue of sorts as your character roams the dungeon, forever lusting. If you don't want to this to happen, we can also simply disregard it and have there be a timeskip of a few years in which your character slowly but surely loses some of their corruption while being molested/molesting various creatures and people in the dungeon. Or perhaps someone caught her and treated her - it's up to us, really.
