Greetings,

     Well a year back or so I was told about this place and it took me a bit to decided to give it a try, see the thing is my writin style is a might bit unusual. My grammar and spelling may seem like it's not the best but in truth I like to write some times like I like to talk or feel like talkin and that may not be to the likin of most people, and I can only apologize if you are reading this and shakin your head BUT I am who I am and know what I like and thou flexibility is key here I can see I guess I am just gonna have to say a little prayer and hope that I can catch the eye of someone.

    Okay so now that I have that bit out of the way I have one more bit to add, Dyslexia.. I suffer from dyslexia but enough about that.

     I have read many a request and came close to responding to a few, but by the time I am done I just could not click the submit or send or whatever button as my uncertainty kicked in if it was what I really wanted to write. That's why I decided to write this post and see if maybe I could get lucky and find someone intrested in taking a chance and work with what I want to make it come to life.

    So here is my idea for the 'plot' & 'back story' least ways my person's back story I will post more on plot after the back story...

Location: Pierre , South Dakota 57501 - Hughes County

     Okay so Josh lost his Mother when he was 14 years old, it hit him and his Father hard and he chose to step up and pretty much give up being a 'Kid'. Their family have lived on a nice ranch and worked for a big family in Texas raising cattle and taking care of there horses. He was worried at first that he and his Father would not make it, the loss of his mother hit them both hard. However one of the 'daughters' of the BIG Family had taken an interest in his Father, (something he did not like), and after waiting a 2 years the two of them started to date and one thing led to another and they married.

     His Father is 33 years old, his new Step Mother is pushing 50 but in looking at her, well she is what his friends (if he had any) would call a MILF. Things were just starting to settle down when his Dad & Step Mother inform him that they were moving to 'South Dakota'. The FAMILY has decided to but some land and for the time being it will be His Dad's job to make certain that they get the property running properly. The Ass Kickin Ranch consists of 1624.81+/- total deeded acres, with over 1250 acres considered as irrigated acres, and over 300 acres of dry land cropland, or so his step mom says. What all that means he has no idea.

    So shortly after his 17th birthday Josh is forced to leave the only life he knows behind and move far up north, what few friends he had he left behind and even though his then 'girlfriend' offered him a special good bye gift he could not accept it. If he would have been staying 'maybe' but his mother had taught him to not only respect woman but many written and unwritten codes to follow before she died. One of which was to look into the woman's eyes and make certain that what she was offering she really meant, and he could tell his then girlfriend was only offering it because she 'thought' she should not because she was ready or wanted it.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO after packing up everything he was allowed to take, (as they would be moving into a much bigger and nicer home up north). They boarded a flight and landed several hours later South Dakota. Stepping off the plane was not like stepping into a new world, it was a new world Josh had never been out of Texas and he had no clue what was in store for him now .. here.. he was so out of his element add to it, school would be starting in a few weeks. T.F. Riggs High School or 'RIGGS' he had tried to look up what he could about the school but what he was able to find seemed 'depressing'.

     Josh also was taken aback at his new 'home' when the car from the airport that had picked them up had started up the private drive and approached there new 'Home' his first thought was THERE WAS NO ONE WITHIN MILES OF THEM, he had been told there home sat on the corner of the 'Ass Kickin Ranch' property but all he could see was wife open nothingness all around! Getting out of the car they were greeted by 'staff', his dad and him now had staff?, and they were shown around the place. This included an not just a room for him, but an apartment not part of the house. The detached 40x80 Shop that is fully finished, heated and included a 512 sq. ft. apartment that she though would be 'just perfect' for Josh as 'she and his father would be entertaining often and this way he would not be disturbed'. Uncertain of what to say as he looked as his dad who was also taken by surprise they decided to check they space out.

    The place was almost as big as his old HOME, (an exaggeration) and the garage below which had it's own car hoist and a few covered cars also threw him for a loop. It seems the former owners were car enthusiasts and they had built this for there 'hobby'. Josh moved towards the covered car's but his father stopped him, but Milane reached out and told him 'it was okay' and the cars were a surprise and a gift to him. Knowing that Josh liked 'cars' as well as her new Husband she had picked up some project cars for the two of them to play with.

     It was about this time that everything really started to hit him, he was rich!? Well his Step Mom was and thus his dad was and thus he was? AND he really had no idea how to feel or what to think about that. Distracted from taking the covers off the cars they took the stairs to his apartment? Most of it was a blank slate his Step Mom saying as it was to be his place she wanted him to work with a designer she was bringing in to redo the main house and make the place up however he liked 'withing reason', and that was another thing he had no idea about, what the hell was within reason when a year ago you were trying to figure out how to scrap the money together to buy a 'car' to work on by working on whatever cars people needed help with to .. THIS.....

    Being 17, dropped into a new land, being rich, it was all too much.. and school was starting in less than two weeks.. going into one of the TWO bedrooms of his apartment yes he had TWO bedrooms and two baths he found a bed there and just fell back on it his mind lost. He could hear his father and step-mom talking, he thought the apartment was going to far and he should have been told, he heard her make some comments and he closed his eyes thinking of him real mom, DID Melanie love her dad, yeah. was he a boy toy (a term he had heard as well as arm candy) maybe, but well standing he went out and moved to his step mom, he had YET to show any emotions to her and thus the hug he gave her took both of them by surprise.

"Thanks for thinking about me in the move, IF I want to get my grades back up and go to college I think you are right that big old house would be too much of a distraction" he smiled showing his perfect white teeth (brushing after ever meal, another written unwritten rule of his real mom), " Dad and you have a lot of work, so you just both need to let me know how I can help out, other wise I will just hang out here and keep out of the way till things get settled." he took a deep breathe, was it too soon? "Mel, Mom.. you knew my real Mom and now your my Mom, I know we talked and you said when I was ready, well I am not 100% ready so as long as I can call you Mel in private and Melanie in private maybe calling you Mom will get easier".

And that was that..

From here I am uncertain where a story would go, save I do not want a roll in the hay *grins* I want substance, he is not going to be going to school driving a Jag as I do not know what is under the tarps yet, whatever they are will need work so for now I see him showing up in some sort of Jeep. He will be a junior and had been taking classes in management and business, math is easy for him numbers click but other things like English and History well that is NOT his thing. For sports he never had time helping his dad and the others, thus the same goes for anything social.

I guess if I had to go for an impression to think of him sorry.. but think Clark Kent Smallville is the best I can come up with at this time, but he is NOT Superman.
